Previous research suggests that environmental certification (EC) affects rental rates in non-residential buildings, but there is still little understanding of how tenants differentiate such buildings from those without EC. This paper examines whether and how tenants perceive value creation in EC premises in Sweden. The findings (based on 29 questionnaire responses and 14 interviews with tenants in EC buildings) inform landlords and tenants on the development of EC strategies for improved organizational outcomes. EC creates value for tenants principally as support for their environmental management and reporting (e.g., low energy demand). EC is important for tenants internally, raising employee environmental awareness and improving employee attraction and retention. Tenants are generally positive about employee morale, indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and rental costs. However, it is not clear if such perceptions are dependent on features of modern premises in general, such as new fixtures, fittings and furnishings, and space-efficiency or from some EC-related feature. Tenants do not identify health or productivity increase in their EC premises. Findings suggest that the research focus should be shifted from investigating health and productivity increases through IEQ improvement to understanding the motivational improvement through value alignment with employees through EC. 相似文献

应用BCM模拟软件分析了SRT-Ⅳ(HS)型石脑油裂解炉的操作条件(炉管出口温度(COT)、进料量、稀释蒸汽与原料的质量比(稀释比))对裂解产物总价值的影响,同时研究了裂解产物价格波动对裂解产物总价值的影响。计算结果表明,石脑油裂解产物总价值分别随COT的升高和稀释比的增大出现局部极大值,并与进料量呈线性关系;当裂解产物价格发生变化时,裂解产物总价值及其达到最大时对应的COT也随之变化;当某一裂解产物的价格高于其他裂解产物价格两个数量级时,该裂解产物的收率与裂解产物总价值的变化规律相同。石脑油裂解炉的裂解产物总价值优化结果与裂解产物收率优化结果存在差异,应用BCM模拟软件对工业裂解炉实施价值优化,有利于提高工业裂解炉裂解产物的总价值。 相似文献

Hydraulic servomechanism is the typical mechanical/hydraulic double-dynamics coupling system with the high stiffness control and mismatched uncertainties input problems, which hinder direct applications of many advanced control approaches in the hydraulic servo fields. In this paper, by introducing the singular value perturbation theory, the original double-dynamics coupling model of the hydraulic servomechanism was reduced to a integral chain system. So that, the popular ADRC (active disturbance rejection control) technology could be directly applied to the reduced system. In addition, the high stiffness control and mismatched uncertainties input problems are avoided. The validity of the simplified model is analyzed and proven theoretically. The standard linear ADRC algorithm is then developed based on the obtained reduced-order model. The heating value of a fuel affects both the brake thermal efficiency and combustion characteristics of an engine. Its value for fuel blend cannot be calculated based on the blend ratio even though the heating values of blend fuels are known. Therefore, a relationship was formulated from the experimental data to predict the heating values of fuel blends. This study was carried out to compute the theoretical heating values of raw as well as purified pungamia oil with different blend ratio by means of SPSS software (ver. 16). The Durbin–Watson (multiple regressions) tests were carried out in the present study to validate the experimental results. The values of density, flash point, viscosity, and percentage of blends were considered an independent variable, and the heating value was considered a dependent variable for the analysis of heating values of different pungamia oil blends with diesel. The theoretically calculated heating values and relationship between the independent variables were around ± 1%. Also, these values were compared with that of the experimental results of other researchers and the variation was only about 2%. The past few years have witnessed the emergence of research examining online regret experience. The presence of online regret generates negative use experience and even leads to service switching and discontinuity. However, to date, only limited research has examined the conceptualization of this new yet very important phenomenon in the field of technology use. To address this research gap, the present study has examined the relative influence of SNS brand participation, technology accessibility attributes (including Facebook usage parameters) and problematic Facebook use in predicting regret experience regarding Facebook use. A pen-and-paper cross-sectional survey was administered to 804 adolescent Facebook users (aged 13–18 years). The study results suggest that adolescent users with varying technology accessibility did not differ in their online regret experience, but excessive Facebook users and those actively participating in brand communities tended to experience higher regret. Other findings suggest that two variables, namely parents’ perceptions of problematic Facebook use and conflict with friends due to Facebook use, were significant predictors of online regret experience. Brand pages in social media provide companies with a competitive marketing tool to create added value for their firms and customers. Past studies suggest that understanding what customers really value in brand pages is the most vital step in promoting their continued interaction, and that the relative impacts of customer values on continued interaction are contingent on individual demographic factors such as gender. However, little research has examined the relationships between customer values and their intention to engage in continued interaction, and how these relationships are moderated by gender, in the context of brand pages. This study identified eight value factors to measure customer values on brand pages, then examined their impacts on customers' continued interaction intention, and studied gender effects on the latter relationship.
