A new statistical micromechanical model of multiple cracking is proposed in which a general expression of the fiber bridging stress laws in the crack plane is established. In this model, the random distribution properties of fibers are considered. And the Weibull function is adopted to represent the flaw size distribution. The relationships of stress versus strain and crack width versus strain are proposed. The formulas of the crack width, crack space, strain capacity and fracture energy density at the end of multiple cracking processes are also deduced. Rockfall accidents are an important determinant of safety performance in deep level mining. Previous research which is reviewed suggests that a lack of skill in perceiving warnings of imminent danger may be an important factor contributing to this kind of accident. The perceptual task of mine workers is described briefly and a survey of the visual characteristics of dangerous rock is reported upon. The visual search performance of mine workers in a stope simulator, designed on the basis of the survey results, was studied. The findings show not only that novice mine workers, when compared with experienced men, lack the ability to search adequately in a simulation of dangerous rock, but also that their search skills can be improved significantly by training. 相似文献

基于模态叠加理论,通过桥梁多个截面处加速度响应数据,计算得到桥梁受移动荷载作用下的模态加速度.根据d'Alembertian原理,桥梁截面任意时刻的动弯矩可看作是任意时刻受惯性分布力和移动荷载作用下的静弯矩.利用影响线,建立起移动荷载与弯矩之间的关系,提出了一种利用弯矩影响线识别移动荷载的方法.算例表明,当荷载只有一个时,可由单点弯矩直接识别,当有多个移动荷载时,可基于多个截面的弯矩数据,利用最小二乘法可以有效的识别出任意时刻作用于桥梁上的移动荷载值.该方法避免了求解桥梁的动力学微分方程,识别精度高且过程简单,适合于工程应用. 相似文献

The cracking behaviour of X-70 pipeline steel in near-neutral pH solutions was studied under different modes of cyclic loading. The crack propagation process of X-70 pipeline steel under low frequency cyclic loading condition was controlled mainly by stress corrosion cracking (SCC) mechanism. Under mixed-mode cyclic loading, both higher tensile stress and shear stress made cracks easier to propagate. Applied cathodic potentials and high content of carbon dioxide in solutions also promoted the propagation of cracks. The propagation directions of cracks were different under different cyclic loading conditions. Under mode I (pure tensile stress) cyclic loading condition, cracks were straight and perpendicular to the tensile stress axis, while under mixed-mode I/Ill (tensile/shear stress) cyclic loading, cracks were sinuous and did not propagate in the direction perpendicular to the main tensile stress axis. Under the mixed-mode cyclic loading, cracks were much easier to propagate, suggesting that shear stress intensified the role of tensile stress. In addition, shear stress promoted the interaction between cracks, resulting in easier coalescence of cracks. 相似文献

Stress corrosion crack growth rates of 304L stainless steel after one-directionally warm-rolled along the longitudinal (L) direction were measured in oxygenated and deoxygenated pure water at 288 °C. The fracture mode is mainly intergranular in the Transverse-longitudinal (T-L) orientation specimen, while it is occasionally intergranular in the Longitudinal-transverse (L-T) orientation specimen.
