The main subject of this paper is to demonstrate the response of structural concrete to different imposed strain rates. Attention is focused on the strain rate about 10-2 s -1>, where some technical difficulties are experienced when an exact determination of mechanical properties for quasi-brittle materials is attempted. Results of metal testing in impact tension–compression and indentation are analyzed. As the analysis of these data demonstrates, the strength of metals increases greatly with strain rates and at moderate indentation rates. At high indentation rates, a decrease in the specific energy (per unit volume of a displaced material) necessary for the formation of a conical cavity was observed. The account of the effects of viscosity, temperature increase upon plastic deformation and its localization can be used to explain the above phenomena.  相似文献

With a view to evaluate the effects of hydraulic retention time and volatile solids loading rate on methane production using water hyacinth, experiments were conducted in a 160 dm3 capacity, well-mixed continuous digestion unit at ambient temperature. The optimal design of biogas plant using water hyacinth was elucidated, to provide a unit giving a maximum methane yield of 0.16 nm3 kg?1 volatile solids added, which was 60% greater than the conventional plant using cowdung. The calculations of optimal design factors were based on reactor size, hydraulic retention time and volatile solids loading rate; considerations were made of capital cost, running costs and operational revenue.  相似文献

 本文从TBM地区目的层的地质和地球物理特征分析出发,以三维地震资料为基础,综合利用人工和神经网络波形分类等定性储层预测方法和利用反演及敏感地震属性分析,对TBM地区低孔渗砂岩分布区开展了砂体展布特征分析和天然气高产区预测研究。根据研究结果部署了10口钻井,已完钻的4口井中有3口获得高产气流(其中DK27井日产天然气36.8×104m3)。值得指出的是,目前所用的预测方法还不能预测厚度小于6m的单砂层或砂层组构成的储层。  相似文献

A discrete dynode electron multiplier with radial flux of electrons was built and tested in the range of low‐voltage scanning electron microscopy as a backscattered electron detector of topographic contrast. The multiplier collects backscattered electron emitted in a specific range of take‐off angles and over the whole azimuth angular range enabling large solid collection angle. Multipliers with different dynode shapes were studied theoretically with the use of the software for particle optics and three assemblies were built and tested experimentally. The gain estimation, assessment of the type of detected electrons (secondary electron or backscattered electron), imaging the spatial collection efficiency and signal‐to‐noise measurements were performed.  相似文献

Biaxial fatigue of friction stir welded stiffened panels Within the framework of the European WelAir project, cruciform specimens made from stiffening FSW overlap joints were fatigued in the DLR biaxial test rig. To resemble the loading situation of pressurized fuselage structures, proportional loading without any phase shift, but with different load ratios λ between the loading components in both directions was applied.Natural crack initiation and subsequent crack growth were governed by the stiffness gradient caused by introducing the stringer. Cracks initiated and propagated at run‐in and run‐out locations in a direction perpendicular to the weld seam. The shortest fatigue life was observed for uniaxial loading in welding direction (λ = 0). An additional stress component perpendicular to the joint line (λ > 0) resulted in a higher number of cycles to failure. Similar to single stringer panels, increasing the load ratio also increased the number of cycles to failure for FSW clip‐stringer structural members, but additionally gives a different location of the fatal crack.  相似文献

Burnishing is used increasingly as a finishing operation which gives additional advantages such as increased hardness, fatigue strength, and wear resistance. Experimental work based on 34 factorial design was carried out to establish the effects of ball burnishing parameters on the surface hardness of high-strength low alloy steels (HSLA) dual-phase (DP) steel specimens. Statistical analysis of the results shows that the speed, feed, lubricant and ball diameter have significant effect on surface hardness.  相似文献
