The agonistic metaphor in psychotherapy: Should clients battle their blues?

A tradition stretching back to early Greek philosophy has described the mind as a field of struggle or even battle. This comparison has been termed the agonistic metaphor, based on the Hellenistic notion of athletic contests. Today, it is not uncommon for psychotherapists and the general public to seek solutions to mental health problems agonistically. Examples of this are cited from major psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral, family, and humanistic theorists, and advantages and disadvantages of the metaphor are explored. Although agonistic thinking can energize clients and ennoble the therapeutic journey, it runs the risk of ignoring educative aspects of problematic situations and ironically perpetuating the resistance it predicts. The concept of psychological regression: Metaphors, mapping, Queen Square, and Tavistock Square.

The term “regression” refers to events in which an individual changes from his or her present level of maturity and regains mental and behavioral characteristics shown at an earlier point in development. This definition has remained constant for over a century, but the implications of the concept have changed systematically from a perspective in which regression was considered pathological, to a current view in which regression may be seen as a positive step in psychotherapy or as a part of normal development. The concept of regression, famously employed by Sigmund Freud and others in his circle, derived from ideas suggested by Herbert Spencer and by John Hughlings Jackson. By the 1940s and '50s, the regression concept was applied by Winnicott and others in treatment of disturbed children and in adult psychotherapy. In addition, behavioral regression came to be seen as a part of a normal developmental trajectory, with a focus on expectable variability. The present article examines historical changes in the regression concept in terms of mapping to biomedical or other metaphors, in terms of a movement from earlier nativism toward an increased environmentalism in psychology, and with respect to other historical factors such as wartime events. 目的研究消隐理念在米字形中的应用和表达。方法将消隐这一理念引入到图形传统语义的解读和当代图形语义的再解读之中,分析图形的几何化消隐、语义化消隐、维度化消隐等诸多方面。结论图形的消隐有利于开拓设计发展的新方向、延伸新形式、促进新观念的生成。     

基于特教教师心智模型的自闭症儿童学习区家具设计研究

目的 提升自闭症儿童的教学关怀,优化自闭症教室家具的人性化设计。方法 广泛搜集国内外自闭症(ASD)儿童教学区及家具图片,使用AHP法选出10张ASD学习区及学习区家具的代表图像,采用扎尔特曼隐喻抽取技术结合基于情感化三层次模型的改良攀梯访谈方法(ZMET)构建ASD儿童教师心智模型,并提取ASD儿童学习区设计需求,依据建立的心智模型进行设计实践。结果 建立了特教教师的学习区设计相关心智模型,提取心智模型中与需求、色彩、材料、造型相关的心智路径,确定产品色彩、材料、造型设计方向,最终以自闭症学生接触时间最长的课桌椅作为对象进行设计实践。结论 验证了心智模式在家具设计中应用的可行性,构建了基于改良攀梯法构建心智模型推进设计创新的设计流程,为自闭症儿童教室家具设计提供方法借鉴。     

英汉相通或相似的表达法

劳伦斯在作品中喜爱用比较直露的性描写,但他也常用含蓄的方式表述性爱。借用英国民歌、民谣中比喻和象征手法歌颂人类性爱之美是劳伦斯作品的另一特色。他的不少诗歌和小说都带有英国民歌、民谣的影响,但是当劳伦斯在作品中对它们进行借用时,这些风趣而又极具内涵的表述便呈现出劳伦斯式创作风格的魅力。

符号学意义上的美术馆

观众对艺术品进行解码的时候,往往从艺术品的视觉形象对应先前的原始印象基于感情体验而进行解码;美术馆这种二位一体的形式聚合成(组合成)美术馆这一整体的符号,体现的是美术馆整体形象的象征--美术馆的整体形象(即美术馆的符号特征);美术馆由符号意义上的整体解构和重组而形成的整体符号特征是美术馆不断向前发展的目标和空间所在.文章并对古根海姆美术馆纽约分馆、现代艺术美术馆和卢浮宫进行实证案例分析得出结论.
