半导体激光器用铷D2线光电流谱稳频

本文报导了用铷原子７８００Ａ光电流谱来稳定半导体激光器的工作，在光电流谱线的中部发现了有利于稳频的凹陷，将半导体激光器频率锁定在凹陷的中央，估算的频率稳定度为１ＭＨｚ。     

耦合腔激光器的波长调谐与频率调制特性分析

考虑用激光器与调制器直接耦合以及耦合槽的影响，用散射矩阵法及二步等效反射率法，对沟槽耦合腔激光器的波长调谐和频率调制特性的分析表明，数学处理简单，物理图像清晰。     

InAs／InP_（0．7）Sb_（0．3）热电子晶体管的f_T及f_（max）

用电荷控制及热电子弹道运动模型计算ＩｎＡｓ／ＩｎＰ０．７Ｓｂ０．３热电子晶体管的截止频率ｆＴ及最高振荡频率ｆｍａｘ。结果表明，ｆＴ、ｆｍａｘ分别达到２８０ＧＨｚ及６００ＧＨｚ。并指出，通过生长ＧａＳｂ中间层，ＩｎＡｓ／ＩｎＰ０．７Ｓｂ０．３ＨＥＴ可在ＧａＡｓ衬底上实现单片集成。     

Conditions for stability of the extended Kalman filter and their application to the frequency tracking problem

The error dynamics of the extended Kalman filter (EKF), employed as an observer for a general nonlinear, stochastic discrete time system, are analyzed. Sufficient conditions for the boundedness of the errors of the EKF are determined. An expression for the bound on the errors is given in terms of the size of the nonlinearities of the system and the error covariance matrices used in the design of the EKF. The results are applied to the design of a stable EKF frequency tracker for a signal with time-varying frequency.This research was supported by the Co-operative Research Centre for Robust and Adaptive Systems ((CR)² ASys). Two-level optimal output feedback stabilizer design

The paper addresses the design of two-level power system stabilizers using an optimal reduced order model whose state variables are torque angles and speeds. The reduced order model retains their physical meaning and is used to design a two-level linear feedback controller that takes into account the realities and constraints of electrical power systems. The two-level control strategy is used, and a global control signal is generated from the output variables to minimize the effect of interactions. The effectiveness of this controller is evaluated and a multimachine system is given as an example to illustrate the advantages of the proposed method. Responses of the system with a two-level scheme and an optimal reduced order scheme are included for comparative analysis.     

On the solvability of the positive real lemma equations

In this paper, we consider the classical equations of the positive real lemma under the sole assumption that the state matrix A has unmixed spectrum: σ(A)∩σ(−A)=. Without any other system-theoretic assumption (observability, reachability, stability, etc.), we derive a necessary and sufficient condition for the solvability of the positive real lemma equations.
