Integration of 3D and multispectral data for cultural heritage applications: Survey and perspectives
Cultural heritage is increasingly put through imaging systems such as multispectral cameras and 3D scanners. Though these acquisition systems are often used independently, they collect complementary information (spectral vs. spatial) used for the study, archiving and visualization of cultural heritage. An automated inspection system for manufactured parts is proposed using a cloud of 3D measured points of a part provided by
a range sensor, and its CAD model. In spite of the high precision attained by coordinate measuring machines (CMM), range sensors
offer significant advantages for dimensional inspection: a high speed of digitisation and the capacity to take 3D measurements
on the whole surfaces of a part without physical contact. The system first registers a cloud of 3D points with a CAD model
of the part, then segments the 3D points in different surfaces by using the CAD model, and finally measures the control of
the specified tolerances on the part. Results of the inspection are displayed in two ways: visually, using a colour map to
display the level of discrepancy between the measured points and the CAD model, and a hardcopy report of the evaluation results
of the tolerance specifications. Two range sensor technologies have been tested and inspection results are compared with the

This paper proposes a novel similarity registration technique for volumetric shapes implicitly represented by characteristic functions (CFs). Here, the calculation of rotation parameters is considered as a spherical cross-correlation problem and the solution is therefore found using the standard phase correlation technique facilitated by principal components analysis (PCA). Thus, fast Fourier transform (FFT) is employed to vastly improve efficiency and robustness. Geometric moments are then used for shape scale estimation which is independent from rotation and translation parameters. It is numerically demonstrated that our registration method is able to handle shapes with various topologies and robust to noise and initial poses. Security protocols are the basis of many mobile communication systems, thus it is important to ensure protocol property correct. Using Protocol Composition Logic (PCL), this paper proves a Mobile IP (MIP) registration protocol that is based on certificateless public key signature without pairing between home agent and foreign agent, which minimizes the registration time and cost as well as improves the security compared with the identity-based and certificate-based registration protocol. A novel method of matching for 3-D free-form objects (points vs. surface and surface vs. surface) is proposed. The method formulates the problem in terms of solution of a non-linear polynomial equation system, which can be solved robustly by the Interval Projected Polyhedron (IPP) algorithm. Two intrinsic surface properties, the Gaussian and the mean curvatures, are used as object features for matching. The related iso-curvature lines are used to establish the correspondence between two objects. The intersection points of these iso-curvature lines are calculated and sorted out to satisfy the Euclidean constraints from which the translation and rotation transformations are estimated. The performance of the proposed algorithm is also analyzed. This approach can cover global and partial matching, and be applied to automated inspection, copyright protection of NURBS models, and object recognition. Examples illustrate our technique. 相似文献
