Owing to the unique electronic properties, rare‐earth modulations in noble‐metal electrocatalysts emerge as a critical strategy for a broad range of renewable energy solutions such as water‐splitting and metal–air batteries. Beyond the typical doping strategy that suffers from synthesis difficulties and concentration limitations, the innovative introduction of rare‐earth is highly desired. Herein, a novel synthesis strategy is presented by introducing CeO2 support for the nickel–iron–chromium hydroxide (NFC) to boost the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance, which achieves an ultralow overpotential at 10 mA cm?2 of 230.8 mV, the Tafel slope of 32.7 mV dec?1, as well as the excellent durability in alkaline solution. Density functional theory calculations prove the established d–f electronic ladders, by the interaction between NFC and CeO2, evidently boosts the high‐speed electron transfer. Meanwhile, the stable valence state in CeO2 preserves the high electronic reactivity for OER. This work demonstrates a promising approach in fabricating a nonprecious OER electrocatalyst with the facilitation of rare‐earth oxides to reach both excellent activity and high stability. 相似文献

The first functional light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) based on quasi 2D colloidal core/shell CdSe/CdZnS nanoplatelets (NPLs). The solution‐processed hybrid devices are optimized with respect to their electroluminescent characteristics, first, by improving charge injection through exchanging the as‐synthesized NPL long‐chain ligands to shorter ones such as 3‐mercaptopropionic acid, and second, by comparing different hole‐transporting layers. NPL‐LEDs exhibit a maximum luminance of 4499 cd m‐2 and external quantum efficiencies of 0.63%. In particular, over different applied voltages, systematically narrow electroluminescence of full width at half maximum (FWHM) in the range of 25–30 nm is observed to be independent from the choice of device configuration and NPL ligands. As spectrally narrow electroluminescence is highly attractive in terms of color purity in the context of LED applications, these results emphasize the unique potential of this new class of colloidal core/shell nanoplatelet in achieving bright and functional LEDs of superior color purity. 相似文献

研究了一种全光纤可切换多波长掺铒光纤激光器。该激光器利用一段缠绕在压电陶瓷上的单模光纤作为正弦相位调制器以及基于光纤拉锥的马赫-曾德尔干涉仪作为梳状滤波器,抑制由于掺铒光纤的均匀展宽效应引起的模式竞争,从而避免了在室温下不稳定的单波长激射,实现了多波长掺铒光纤激光器的稳定输出。实验中观察到稳定的5个波长的同时激射,相邻波长间隔为0.804 nm。信噪比大于40 dB,3 dB带宽约为0.023 nm,中心5个波长输出功率的平坦度为14 dB。同时,激光器具有灵活的波长可切换特性,通过调整驱动信号和偏振控制器的状态,实现了单波长、双波长、三波长以及更多波长的输出。该激光器可应用于大容量波分复用系统和光纤传感。 相似文献

仿真和实验研究了含槽型(slot)光波导的反馈波导型微环谐振器的特性,将槽型光波导集成到Si基微环谐振器中,丰富Si基光波导的功能,为新型光电子器件的实现提供途径。通过锥形波导结构实现从传统波导到槽型波导的模式转换,减小传输损耗,采用时域有限差分法(FDTD)研究了光功率的分布和模式转换过程。结果显示,光功率逐渐转移到锥形结构两侧的槽型波导中并最终形成槽型波导中的传输模式,通过优化锥形结构能实现较高的模式转换效率,可以达到90%以上。采用电子束刻写技术和等离子刻蚀技术制备了反馈波导型槽型微环谐振器。实验显示,锥形波导能够实现模式的转换,光传输过程良好。通过在槽型波导中填充电光聚合物来改变槽型光波导的折射率,测量结果显示,传输谱谐振峰发生了明显移动,移动幅度达到5.6nm,器件具备很好的可调谐性。 相似文献

Cation exchange polymeric matrices are widely used in water treatment protocols to reduce the mineral content of hard waters, even for human consumption. However, they are not antibacterial and flowing bacteria can be trapped in their structures and proliferate, thus acting as microbial contamination sources. Here, Ag@Co‐nanoparticles (Ag@Co‐NPs) with a low‐cost superparamagnetic Co0‐core and an antibacterial Ag‐shell are synthesized on granulated cation exchange polymeric matrices under soft reaction conditions. The presence of these NPs provides the final nanocomposite (NC) with additional functionalities (superparamagnetism and antibacterial activity) making it ideal for water purification applications. Ag@Co‐NPs are synthesized in situ on four cation exchange polymeric matrices containing either strong (sulfonic) or weak (carboxylic) acid functional groups homogeneously distributed (C‐type) or concentrated on an external shell (SST‐type) by the intermatrix synthesis (IMS) method. In the current research, conductive patterns are deposited on different substrates by direct inkjet printing of conductive inks based on metal@carbon and bimetal@carbon core–shell nanoparticles synthesized by the RAPET (reaction under autogenic pressure at elevated temperatures) technique. Various co‐solvents and additives are examined for production of stable conductive ink. The morphology of the deposited layers is characterized by optical and scanning electron microscopy measurements. The stability of the prepared inks is examined by dynamic light scattering measurements. The electrical resistivity is measured by a four‐point probe system and calculated using the geometric dimensions. The results obtained are very promising and indicate that the conductivity of the deposited layers is close to that of bulk metals and higher than most results published so far. Moreover, the importance and advantages of the protective carbon layer that prevents metal oxidation is demonstrated. 相似文献
