A novel TiO2 thin film was prepared on the ceramic hollow fiber by the sol-gel method using poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as additives. SEM images verified the formation of TiO2 layer with various thickness using different composition of titania sols. The effect of the PVP and PVA contents on the TiO2 sol properties, the separation and the antifouling performance of the ultrafiltration membranes were investigated thoroughly. When the contents of PVP and PVA were 1.0 wt% and 0.8 wt%, respectively, the resultant membrane showed a thickness of 0.55 μm with a pure water flux of 255 L m?2 h?1. In addition, the adherent foulant bovine serum albumin was applied to evaluate the antifouling performance. During the three fouling-recovery cycles, the flux recovery ratio and the flux decay ratio maintained about 99% and 30%. The BSA flux and rejection were still 169 L m?2 h?1 and 96.9% after the cycles, indicating a superior antifouling property.  相似文献

Polyimide/titania (PI/TiO2) nanocomposite films have been successfully fabricated through the in situ formation of TiO2 within a PI matrix via sol–gel method. Poly(amic acid) (PAA), which is the precursor of PI, was successfully synthesized by mixing pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA), with equimolar amount of a diamine monomer having a pendent benzoxazole unit and two flexible ether linkages in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) solvent. Tetraethyl orthotitanate [Ti(OEt)4] and acetylacetone were then added to the resulted PAA. After imidization at high temperature, PI/TiO2 hybrid films were formed. The structure and morphology of the hybrid nanocomposites with different titania contents (0 wt%, 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt%) were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy. The results indicate that the TiO2 nanoparticles were homogeneously dispersed in the hybrid films. The thermogravimetric analysis of nanocomposites confirms the improvement in the thermal stability with the increase in the percentage of titania nanoparticle. Transmission electron microscopy showed that the nanoparticles with an average diameter of 25–40 nm were dispersed in the polymer matrix.  相似文献

Incorporation of silicon species from an alloy substrate into anodic titania is shown to stabilise the structure of the film, facilitating investigation of the ionic transport processes in amorphous titania grown at high efficiency. Thus, an amorphous anodic film developed on a sputtering-deposited Ti-6 at.%Si alloy formed to 100 V in phosphoric acid electrolyte in contrast to a partially crystalline film developed on relatively pure titanium at <20 V. Silicon species, which are immobile and act as marker species in the growing film, are present in the inner 58% of the film thickness. Evidently, the film material forms simultaneously at the film/electrolyte and alloy/film interfaces by co-operative transport of cations and anions, as is usual in amorphous anodic oxides. The phosphate anions incorporated from the electrolyte migrate inward at 0.34 times the rate of O2− ions and hence are present in the outer 62% of the film thickness.  相似文献

Hydrous titania gels, precipitated from titanous chloride and aged in different aqueous media have different textural, thermal and structural properties as demonstrated by nitrogen adsorption, differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy studies. Ageing in ammonia leads to the development of microporosity, whereas ageing in water causes an extension of the pore system in the primary particles with little change in the surface texture. Heat-treatment of the precipitated gels prior to ageing seems to afford a certain stability to the primary particle by allowing hydroxo and oxo bridges to be formed, thus leading to the formation of a more rigid structure. The nature of the ageing medium and its effect on the inner coordination sphere of the titanium ions are important parameters affecting the textural and thermal behaviours of the titania gels.  相似文献

在大量制备一维ZnO纳米结构的基础上,研究了这些纳米结构的场发射性能。对于四角状ZnO纳米结构,获得1.0m Ac/m2的电流密度只需要4.5V/μm的电场;对于线状Z nO纳米结构,获得1.0mAc/m 2的电流密度需要6.5V/μm的电场。由于其特殊的结构,四角状ZnO一维纳米结构在真空电子器件方面有很好的应用前景。  相似文献

Submicrometer-sized titania hollow spheres with tunable shell thickness and smooth surfaces have been successfully synthesized by employing sulfonated polystyrene (PS) latex particles as a template in sol-gel method. The structure of the particles was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The shell thickness was readily tuned by altering the concentration of titanium tetrabutoxide (TBOT) in ethanol solutions. The surface roughness as well as the shell thickness has the tendency to increase with the increase in the concentration of TBOT. The diameter of the hollow spheres was on the average of 20-26% smaller than the diameter of template PS latex particles. Some titania fragments were also observed for the sample with the highest TBOT concentration.  相似文献

The possibility of utilizing nanopowders of iron and Fe-Co-Ni produced bu a thermochemical method in the fabrication of sealing composition materials is investigated.
