该文参照国际通用算法提出了一种电站锅炉污垢费用的估算方法,该法将锅炉污垢造成的经济损失分别按冗余面积、附加燃料、附加维护3个方面,根据某厂350MW机组锅炉的现场实测数据逐项进行评估.继而将所得结果按2000年我国火电机组装机容量推算出该年我国锅炉污垢导致的经济损失约为100.08亿元,约占当年GDP的0.11%.

Improvement of Heater Surface Flatness and Uniformity of TiN Film Deposition

The deposition rate and the thickness uniformity of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) titanium nitride films depend on wafer temperatures. The heater surface conditions, such as flatness, roughness, and surface imperfections, can greatly affect heat transfer efficiency from the heater surface to the wafer, and the process performance. Because heater surface imperfections or “hot spots” that caused poor uniformity had to be eliminated, the origin of “hot spots” was identified by a detailed study of heater surface profiles. A better visualization of “hot spots” could be obtained by comparing wafer-chucking patterns with deposition patterns. Thus, the time needed to locate “hot spots” could be shortened. The manufacturing process was revised to prevent “hot spots” and improve heater performance.     

Activity-based cost-modelling procedures for PCB assembly

Accurate product cost estimation is important in decisions which involved the selection of the least-cost design among alternative designs and the economic feasibility of a product. An accurate cost-estimating procedure would include the cost of materials and all activities that incur cost.This paper presents the development of cost models for printed circuit board (PCB) assembly which will take into consideration activities that incur cost owing to complexity, volume and batch size of PCB manufactured. All activities are allocated into three level bases and they are unit-level cost, batch-level cost and product-level cost. The cost of assembling one PCB is the summation of all these three costs. A case example is presented to illustrate the application of the models developed.     

An integrated system for process planning and cost estimation in hole making

The process planning function plays a critical role not only in computer integrated manufacture, but also in the economics of batch manufacturing. This paper describes the development of a generic knowledge-based system for process planning and cost estimation in the hole making process. The main function of the system, besides estimating the cost of production, is to recommend appropriate processes, their sequence and their respective machining conditions in order to obtain the required product specifications. The system has been implemented in a manufacturing organisation. The results obtained have indicated that in addition to cost savings the system also preserves the consistency in planning and cost estimation.
