从“森林”思想的视角看当代日本建筑空间

日本的森林文化是日本文化的重要背景,对日本建筑师的空间创作有着潜移默化的影响。当代很多日本建筑师所创作的很多空间都有着森林文化的缩影,不确定性、匀质、暧昧、连续等词经常用来形容当代日本空间,而以森林文化为积淀的“森林空间”其实包含了上述的种种特性,也很可能是这些空间的原型。森林文化依托“森林空间”所表现的平等与循环往复的思想也可以被理解为很多建筑师所追求的最终空间精神状态与境界,这可以成为我们理解当代日本建筑空间的一个视角。     

双单倍体牙鲆的性腺发生、性别分化及早期发育的研究

本文利用组织切片的方法研究了双单倍体牙鲆的性腺发生、性别分化及早期发育。结果显示:双单倍体牙鲆中除雌性外,还有雄性和未分化鱼出现,所占比例分别为56%、38%和6%。双单倍体牙鲆雌性的性别分化晚于普通牙鲆。雌鱼至100日龄,卵巢腔仍未闭合;110日龄雌鱼的产卵板上存在大量向卵母过渡的卵原细胞,未见Ⅰ时相卵母细胞出现。双单倍体牙鲆雄鱼精巢的分化在时间上和普通牙鲆的基本相同。随着发育的进行,双单倍体牙鲆雌鱼的卵巢出现部分异常的卵母细胞以及卵巢退化现象;部分雄鱼的精巢也有退化现象出现。9～11月龄,双单倍体牙鲆雄鱼的精巢发育到Ⅲ期,而普通牙鲆性腺在同期进入了Ⅳ期;11月龄开始双单倍体牙鲆雄鱼精巢有退化的迹象;13～15月龄,精巢退化成精小叶,其中只含有精原细胞,初级精母细胞消失不见,似Ⅱ期精巢。     

Measurements, analyses and evaluation of residential PV systems by Japanese monitoring program

This paper is about measurements, analyses and evaluation of residential PV systems in the Japanese Monitoring Program, on which JQA was subsidized by NEDO (New Energy Development and Industrial Technology Organization) that is currently proceeding [NSS R&D] from FY1997 to FY 2000.The aim of this investigation refers, through the data evaluation and analyses, to obtain knowledge required for optimizing design of PV systems, such as system performance, characteristics and regional dependency under practical operation and to develop the system evaluation technology on the design parameter method.     

机械制图日语双语教学的研究与实践

针对机械制图日语双语教学的实施问题,探讨了在双语教学中教材体系建设、教学实施形式、日语双语教学特点等方面的措施及其与教学质量的关系。并在双语教学实践的基础上,通过问卷调查对教学的实施效果进行分析和研究,阐述了以工程素质和能力培养为教学目标的日语双语教学中需解决的若干问题及其解决办法。     

Changes in textural properties of Japanese tenobe somen noodles during storage

Tenobe somen (TS) noodles are traditional Japanese wheat-based noodles that are produced manually using a sophisticated method called tenobe (literally, "hand stretched"). In the tension test, both the tensile strength and extensibility of TS noodles were greater than those of machine-made (MS) noodles. In the biting test, the chewy texture of TS noodles was realized in the analysis of the force-deformation curves of each type of somen noodles. The creep test indicated a clear difference between the external and internal elasticity of TS noodles. The texture of TS noodles appeared to change dramatically during storage in the rainy season. In addition, firm and chewy textures of TS noodles stored for 20 mo were observed. Similar to the results from our previous study, TS noodles exhibited significantly higher dityrosine content than the flour used for their manufacture. However, the increase in the dityrosine content during the manufacturing process was not observed in the case of MS noodles. Although clear textural differences were observed between TS noodles stored for 0 and 20 mo, the dityrosine contents of TS noodles at each stage were not largely different.     

Eggs of a female Japanese quail are more likely to be fertilized by a male that she prefers.

Male Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica) that conspecific females preferred in a 10-min, forced-choice test of affiliative preference were more likely than were males not preferred in such a test to fertilize females' eggs when subsequently mated with them, although preferred and nonpreferred males mated equally often with females. Further, the probability that a nonpreferred male would fertilize a female's eggs was significantly increased if she watched while he courted and mated with another female. The results indicate that in Japanese quail (a) affiliative preference reliably predicts females' choices of fathers for their offspring and (b) females may have some degree of control over whether the males with whom they mate actually fertilize their eggs. Differences in muscle and fat accretion in Japanese Black and European cattle

The development of different muscles and adipose tissues during growth was investigated in commercial Japanese Black (JB) cattle and compared with breeds of the largest variation to be found in Europe. Animals, reared under typical conditions for Japanese and European beef production systems, gained similar body weights but different carcass composition at 24 months of age. The carcass of JB contained more adipose tissue and the least proportion of muscle. The longissimus muscle of JB developed extraordinary amounts of 23.3% intramuscular fat (IMF) at 24 months of age, compared from 0.6% to 4.7% in European breeds. The relationships between IMF content in the longissimus muscle and different adipose tissue weights indicate that a large amount of “waste fat” is accreted with every percent of IMF. However in JB, the good ability of IMF deposition is associated with relatively least development of “waste fat”, as a result of unique breed characteristics combined with special feeding system.

MACSYM: A hierarchical parallel image processing system for event-driven pattern understanding of documents

MACSYM is a hierarchical parallel processing system for pattern understanding applications. It features event-driven parallel processing for knowledge-based understanding of document images. The system is composed of a master processor, slave processors and a large shared memory, and is equipped with versatile communication facilities. The parallel processing software system M.UM has been developed on MACSYM. It supplies a parallel processing language MacC, an extended version of C, and supports the programming for document image understanding. The Japanese newspaper layout understanding system EXPRESS is being developed on MACSYM. It analyzes a newspaper image and extracts articles in a few seconds.
