Numerical simulation of viscous fingering of shear‐thinning fluids

The viscous fingering instability of miscible shear‐thinning fluids has been examined using a pseudo‐spectral numerical technique based on the Hartley transform. The instability was studied for a flow in a rectilinear Hele‐Shaw cell, and the shear‐thinning character of the fluids has been modelied using the Carreau equation. New mechanisms of viscous fingering not previously observed in the case of similar Newtonian flow displacements have been identified. These mechanisms, which are reminiscent of the fractal patterns observed in experimental studies, were interpreted in terms of the velocity‐dependent mobility of the flow.

This contribution presents coupling of laws for shear flow and wall slipping by the shear stress at the slipping interface. It includes the special case of Coulombian friction postulated by Uhland as well as the assumption of a constant sliding velocity along the flow channel according to Mooney. As an example, Ostwald and de Waele's law of shear thinning flow is combined with a shear stress of sliding depending on internal pressure by a power law. Examined feedstocks for metal injection molding showed a rheological behavior according to the model presented.

Characterization of extensional rheological filament stretching with a dual‐mode Giesekus model

A new, simple, formulation that describes capillary thinning as predicted by a two‐mode Giesekus model is derived, and its application in analyzing data from extensional rheometry (capillary thinning) experiments is discussed. An algorithm is presented that can be used to fit the expressions obtained from the Giesekus model to extensional rheometry data. Examples of data fitting are given for an idealized data set, for measurements obtained for aqueous solutions of 6 wt % 900,000 molecular weight polyethylene oxide, and for biological fluids obtained from pitchers of Nepenthes Rafflesiana. Good fits to the data were obtained, with coefficients of determination in excess of 0.98. For each data set, it was possible to calculate values of extensional viscosity and relaxation time for each of the two modes, allowing quantitative comparison of different fluids or of the same fluid as it ages. © 2016 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 62: 2188–2199, 2016

基于人机协作的幕墙安装机械手末端随动坐标系的解算方法

针对幕墙安装助力机械人机协作的操作特性,对一种新型的幕墙安装机械手进行了相关技术的研究。对该幕墙安装机械手进行了运动学分析,并将末端位姿实时变化的力传感器随动坐标系与机械手本体基坐标系建立了联系。提供了一种力的解算方法,并加入了重力及其力矩补偿,为幕墙安装机械手整个人机协作控制系统的搭建提供了依据。     

新型磁流变刹车装置设计与性能研究

设计了一种兼顾盘式与筒式结构优点的新型磁流变刹车装置,采用Maxwell软件结合田口算法思想对结构进行仿真优化。搭建实验测试平台,测试了磁流变液刹车装置的静态以及动态性能,验证了所设计的结构是有效的,实验结果达到预期目标,建立了制动力矩与输入电流的关系式,修正了τ-H经验公式,修正后的理论计算值与测量值基本一致,验证了磁流变液在高速剪切情况下存在剪切变稀的现象。     

EFFICIENT METHOD OF MOMENTS ESTIMATORS FOR INTEGER TIME SERIES MODELS

The parameters of integer autoregressive models with Poisson, or negative binomial innovations can be estimated by maximum likelihood where the prediction error decomposition, together with convolution methods, is used to write down the likelihood function. When a moving average component is introduced this is not the case. To address this problem an efficient method of moment estimator is proposed where the estimated standard errors for the parameters are obtained using subsampling methods. The small sample properties of the estimator are investigated using Monte Carlo methods, while the approach is demonstrated using two well‐known examples from the time series literature.     

导弹壁温的准三维计算及红外辐射研究

建立了飞行中段导弹壁面的非稳态、准三维温度计算模型,并采用控制容积积分法求解得到不同时刻壁面温度的三维分布,研究了导弹表面辐射特性的计算方法。模型中考虑了气动加热、太阳和大气辐射、壁面内部导热系数变化对导弹壁面温度的影响,太阳和大气辐射对导弹表面辐射的影响。计算了某飞行中段导弹的壁温及光谱8~12μm内导弹红外辐射的空间分布并给出了相应的结果。     

利用壁面剪应力提高固井水泥浆顶替效率的研究与应用

壁面剪应力设计方法,从理论上把塞流顶替、低速顶替及紊流顶替技术统一起来。对流变参数不再作特殊要求,只要结合环空返速,使摩阻大于一定数值即可。水泥浆环空流动的壁面剪应力是影响顶替效率的关键因素。但要实现最终合格固井质量的目标,还需要从入井流体的整体设计考虑。
