A range of carbon coatings with different hardness and modulus was compared for wear and frictional behaviours using one-side-carbon-coated Ti-6Al-4V alloy couples tested under conditions of combined impact and sliding contact. Carbon films with hardness over 10 GPa were found to cause far greater volume loss of the uncoated counterpart, and the volume loss was approximately proportional to the extent of hardness deviation above 10 GPa. The coefficient of friction was shown to correlate positively with coating hardness. The tendency of a softer coating to possess a greater sp2 or graphite-like content provides more effective solid lubrication in a wet environment, hence minimising both wear and friction. The corresponding low film modulus also provides an optimal structural integrity of the composite system by minimising the elastic modulus mismatch between the film and the underlying substrate. 相似文献

甲基丙烯酸锌(Zn(MMA)_2)在自由基存在下可以与橡胶发生接枝和交联反应,在橡胶中引入金属离子键交联结构,发生自聚合反应生成纳米聚盐粒子等,使得硫化橡胶具有多元的交联网络结构和多元的填充网络结构,这使得硫化胶的物理力学性能大大提高。为了获得Zn(MMA)_2所给出的优异性能,需采用过氧化物硫化体系,虽然过氧化物与硫黄并用的体系有很多报道,但是都没有单纯采用过氧化物硫化时的性能好。由于硫黄硫化是不饱和橡胶最广泛采用的硫化体系,因此在硫黄硫化条件下,获得Zn(MMA)_2的优异性能,无疑是非常有意义的。从化学计量角度设计了胶料中硫黄的摩尔用量远远大于Zn(MMA)_2的摩尔用量(14:1/mol:mol)的情况,对比了三种硫化体系(S、Zn(MMA)_2/S、Zn(MMA)_2/S*)硫化天然橡胶的特点。结果表明Zn(MMA)_2/S体系硫化胶料的物理力学性能显著提高,这使在硫黄硫化体系中实现Zn(MMA)_2的优异性能成为可能。论文分析阐述了产生这些结果的原因并提出了可能的机理 相似文献

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of adhesive type, wood species, and finger joint configurations on structural performance of the finger joint. The wood species studied were oriental beech (Fagus orientalis lipsky.), oak (Quercus robur), Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris lipsky.), poplar (Populus tremula lipsk.) and Uludağ fir (Abies bormülleriana Matff.) and adhesives were poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc), Desmodur-VTKA (D-VTKA). However, there is little information available concerning the bending strength and modulus of elasticity for finger joints in these field. In this study, it was aimed to determine the bending strength and modulus of elasticity for finger joints. For this purpose, samples were tested according to the TS EN 310 standard. It was observed that the highest bending strength and modulus of elasticity were obtained in beech control (solid wood) samples. As for the finger joints, after the control samples, the highest bending strength value (57.4 N/mm2) was obtained from Oriental beech wood samples having a 21 mm finger length and bonded with PVAc adhesive, the highest modulus of elasticity (8885.3 N/mm2) was obtained from beech wood samples having a 21 mm finger length and bonded with PVAc adhesive. As a result of the effects of finger joints on bending strength and modulus elasticity test, if the length of finger joints increases up to 21 mm, the properties of bending strength increase. 相似文献

Living cell cultures exhibit improved adhesion on polymer surfaces engineered with nano-scale structures as compared to their flat counterparts. During fabrication their polymer-chain structure can be altered, thus affecting their mechanical properties. The [N(CH3)4][N(C2H5)4]ZnCl4 compound was prepared and characterized by electrical technique. The temperature dependence of the dielectric permittivity shows that this compound is ferroelectric below T = 268 K. The two semi-circles observed in the complex impedance identify the presence of the grain interior and grain boundary contributions to the electrical response in the material. The equivalent circuit is modeled by a combination series of two parallel RP–CPE circuits. The frequency dependent conductivity is interpreted in term of Jonscher's law. The modulus plots can be characterized by the empirical Kohlrausch–Williams–Watts (K.W.W.) function: ?(t) = exp [(−t/τ)β]. The temperature dependence of the alternative current conductivity (σp), direct current conductivity (σdc) and the relaxation frequency (fp) confirm the presence of the ferroelectric–paraelectric phase transition. 相似文献
