Breakdown characteristics of oil and paper insulation for a very fast transient voltage

This paper describes the dielectric breakdown characteristics of oil and oil‐impregnated paper for very fast transient (VFT) voltages. Blumlein circuits generate VFT voltages of 60 and 300 ns in a pulse width that simulates disconnecting switching surges in gas‐insulated switch gears. We measured the breakdown voltages of needle‐to‐plane, plane‐to‐plane oil gaps and several pieces of paper between plane electrodes for VFT and lightning impulse voltages. The measured data were formulated in V‐t characteristics and Weibull probability distributions. The inclination n of V‐t characteristics of insulating paper is 150, which is less than n = 13.7 of the plane‐to‐plane oil gap in the VFT time range. The shape parameters of Weibull distribution obtained in this study show that the scattering of breakdown voltages of paper is much less than that of oil. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 南海东部油田高产稳产开发实践

南海东部海域是中国海洋石油总公司对外合作勘探、开发的主要海域之一 ,自 1990年以来 ,该海域已有 12个油田相继投入开发 ,其中包括 11个砂岩油田和一个礁灰岩油田。在开发初期 ,这些油田多数被评价为边际油田 ,通过中外双方近 10年的共同努力 ,在开展不同阶段精细油田地质和油藏工程研究的基础上 ,结合该海域油田地质及开发特征 ,采用目前世界上先进的开发技术和开采工艺 ,取得了良好的开发效果和经济效益 ,并积累了一套具有海上油田特点的开发经验和作法 ,在油藏工程和油藏管理方面也取得了较大成功。文中通过展示南海东部油田地质及开发特征、开发现状和开发效果 ,剖析了油田开发技术 ,总结了油田开发经验 ,介绍了油田开发形势以及开发潜力

Discrete singular convolution and its application to the analysis of plates with internal supports. Part 2: Applications

Part 2 of this series of two papers presents the applications of the discrete singular convolution (DSC) algorithm. The main purpose of this paper is to explore the utility, test the accuracy and examine the convergence of the proposed approach for the vibration analysis of rectangular plates with internal supports. Both partial internal line supports and complex internal supports are considered for 21 square plates of various combinations of edge support conditions. The effects of different size, shape and topology of the internal supports and different boundary conditions on the vibration response of plates are investigated. The partial internal line supports may vary from a central point support to a full range of cross or diagonal line supports. Several closed‐loop supports, such as ring, square and rhombus, and their combinations are studied for complex internal supports. Convergence and comparison studies are carried out to establish the correctness and accuracy of the DSC algorithm. The DSC results are compared with those in the available literature obtained by using other methods. Numerical results indicate that the DSC algorithm exhibits controllable accuracy for plate analysis and shows excellent flexibility in handling complex geometries, boundary conditions and support conditions. 大长径比自旋弹箭横向自振特性的有限元计算方法与结果分析

本文研究大长径比自旋弹箭在飞行时横向振动的自振特性。本文将转子动力学应用于弹道学 ,采用有限元法 ,建立自旋弹箭横向振动自振特性方程。同时给出了计算方法。利用该方程和该方法 ,开发了相应的计算程序。通过数值计算 ,可给出细长旋转弹箭飞行时的进动转速和临界转速 ,以及相应的位移和角度振型。利用该程序 ,进行了实例计算和分析。     

现行规范对“锁住区”起点高度简化处理的影响

通过工程实例及理论分析 ,对横向风振“锁住区”问题进行了探讨 ,对《建筑结构荷载规范》(GB5 0 0 0 9— 2 0 0 1 )中有关这一方面内容存在的一些问题进行了分析 ,希望对工程设计人员能有所帮助     

Axial vibrations of U-shaped bellows with elastically restrained end conditions

Previous work by Li et al. in the area of axial vibrations of bellows dealt with fixed end conditions. However, it is seen on several occasions that bellow ends are welded to a small pipe spool that has a lumped mass such as a valve or an instrument. Hence, the present paper aims at finding out the effect of elastically restrained ends on the axial natural frequencies. The analysis considers finite stiffness axial restraints on the bellows, i.e. solving the set of equations with non-homogeneous boundary conditions. Two bellow specimens are considered for comparison having the same dimensions as taken by Li in his analysis. The transcendental frequency equation deduced is accurate as the first, second and third mode frequencies computed are in close agreement to the ones obtained by Li.
