Sex attractants for Geometrid and Noctuid moths

Male moths belonging to 17 species of Geometridae and nine species of Noctuidae were captured in traps baited with synthetic chemicals as part of a field screening program. The compounds tested were the C₁₈-C₂₂ homologs of: (1) (3Z,6Z,9Z)-triene hydrocarbons; (2) mixtures containing equal quantities of (3Z,6Z)-cis-9,10-expoxydienes, (3Z,92Z)-cis-6,7-epoxydienes, and (6Z,9Z)-cis-3,4-epoxydienes; (3) (3Z,6Z)-9S,10R-epoxydienes; (4) (3Z,6Z)-9R,10S-epoxydienes; and (5) (3Z,6Z,9Z,11E)-nonadecatetraene. Field captures and electroantennographic assays revealed a high degree of specificity in the responses of many species to the synthetic chemicals. In several species the ability of males to discriminate between the 9S,10R and 9R,10S enantiomers of the monoepoxydiene isomers was clearly shown. Synergists and inhibitors were discovered for several of the reported attractants, some of which were not previously known to have semiochemical activity. The geometrid moths captured includedEpirrhoe sperryi (Herbulot),Mesoleuca ruficillata (Guenée),Triphosa haesitata (Guenée),Metanema inatomaria (Guenée),Prochoerodes transversata (Drury),Cabera erythemaria (Guenée),Synaxis jubararia (Hulst),Dysstroma brunneata ethela (Hulst),Eulithes testata (Linnaeus),Sicya macularia (Harris),Xanthorhoe iduata (Guenée),X. abrasaria aquilonaria (Herrich-Schäffer),X. munitata (Hübner),Itame loricaria (Eversmann),Eupithecia annulata (Hulst),E. rovocastaliata (Packard) andE. satyrata dodata (Taylor). The noctuid moths captured includedBleptina caradrinalis (Guenée),Idia américalis (Guenée),I. aemula (Hübner),Rivula propinqualis (Guenée),Lomanaltes eductalis (Walker),Spargaloma sexpunctata (Grote),Caenurgina distincta (Neumuller),Euclidia cuspidea (Hübner), andZale duplicata (Bethune). Six of the nine noctuid species captured belong to three subfamilies for which sex attractants had not been reported previously. Details for the stereospecific synthesis of (3Z,6Z)-cis-9,10-epoxydienes are also reported.Issued as NRCC No. 24314.     

2-（4-氯苯氨基）甲基苯酚降解的动力学研究

采用高效液相色谱技术,开展了Fenton试剂对2-（4-氯苯氨基）甲基苯酚（CMP）的氧化降解动力学的研究。考察了初始双氧水摩尔浓度、亚铁离子摩尔浓度和温度等因素对CMP降解速率的影响,结果表明,当双氧水摩尔浓度、亚铁离子摩尔浓度增大和温度升高时,CMP的氧化速率明显加快。在30~45℃的温度范围内,其氧化降解符合假一级反应动力学模型,反应的表观活化能Ea为102.90kJ/mol。     

视觉检测系统中亮度不均匀背景的一种去除方法

刀具形状视觉检测系统中，照明不均匀对测量结果影响很大。针对这种情况，提出了基于二维二阶多项式拟合并去除不均匀背景的方法。遵循最小均方程差原理，给出了二维二阶拟合的矩阵表达式。在编制的程序中，拟合点以人机交互形式由鼠标点击选出，程序自动记录所选点的图象人材与亮度值信息，然后拟合出背景曲面，并以二值图象形式给出去除背景后的目标图象。对一幅光照模型未知的网络图象进行了背景去除，实验结果良好。     

非平稳时序循环平稳趋势提取与机械故障诊断

在简单介绍非平稳时序模型周期趋势项提取方法的基础上，提出了机械故障诊断和分析方法，该方法利用旋转机械出现故障以后所呈现的循环平稳特性，使用循环平稳分析方法剔除非平稳时间序列模型中的趋势项，然后建立平稳时序模型，用该模型进行机械故障诊断分析。并运用仿真和实例对方法的正确性进行了验证。     

Effects of coating thickness and residual stresses on the bond strength of ASTM C633-79 thermal spray coating test specimens

Wire-arc-sprayed nickel-aluminum is widely used in the aircraft industry for dimensional restoration of worn parts and as a bond coat for thermal barrier coatings and other top coats. Some repair applications require thick coatings, which often result in lower bond strength. A mechanism being investigated to ex-plain this decrease in bond strength is the free edge effect, which includes both coating residual stresses and coating thickness. The layer-removal method was used to determine experimentally the residual stresses in wire-arc-sprayed nickel-aluminum coatings of different thicknesses. Bond strength evalu-ations were performed using an improved ASTM C 633-79 test specimen. Finite-element analysis and fracture mechanics were used to investigate the effects of coating thickness and residual stress state on coating bond strength.     

含Cl^-溶液中SO4^2-对316不锈钢临界点蚀温度的影响

采用外加恒电位下腐蚀电流-温度扫描方法研究了在0．5％Cl^-溶液中，SO4^2-浓度对316不锈钢点腐蚀行为的影响．结果表明，随着SO4^2-浓度的增加，钝化电流增加，开路电位降低．当SO4^2-浓度低于0．42％时，316不锈钢的临界点蚀温度比不存在SO4^2-时的临界点蚀温度低；当SO4^2-浓度大于0．42％时，临界点蚀温度比不存在SO4^2-时的临界点蚀温度高．从离子竞争吸附的角度进行分析，对SO4^2-加速与抑制点蚀两种作用规律的形成原因进行了解释．     

1950—2010年黄河径流情势变化特点

对1950—2010年黄河径流地区分布不均匀、断流和连续枯水段历时较长等特点进行了分析,阐述了天气变化、植被变化、水利工程对径流的调节、工农业及生活用水等影响黄河径流变化的因素,提出了相关建议:①长期推行节水和水土保持建设;②建立流域机构统一管理与省(区)水行政主管部门分级管理相结合的黄河水资源管理体系;③积极推进补水工程建设;④建立污染物入河总量控制、排污入河许可等水资源保护制度,提升对污染物输移扩散的预测预报水平与能力。     

Augmented Panoramic Video

Many video sequences consist of a locally dynamic background containing moving foreground subjects. In this paper we propose a novel way of re‐displaying these sequences, by giving the user control over a virtual camera frame. Based on video mosaicing, we first compute a static high quality background panorama. After segmenting and removing the foreground subjects from the original video, the remaining elements are merged into a dynamic background panorama, which seamlessly extends the original video footage. We then re‐display this augmented video by warping and cropping the panorama. The virtual camera can have an enlarged field‐of‐view and a controlled camera motion. Our technique is able to process videos with complex camera motions, reconstructing high quality panoramas without parallax artefacts, visible seams or blurring, while retaining repetitive dynamic elements.
