The rebuttals offered by the authors whose data we reanalyzed (see record 2009-06703-001)—A. R. McConnell & J. M. Leibold (see record 2001-11532-008); J. C. Ziegert & P. J. Hanges (see record 2005-05102-011)—address secondary issues that do not alter our primary message: The evidence for the predictive validity of the race Implicit Association Test is too fragile to support the strong claims that have been made about the pervasiveness of prejudice and the linkages between Implicit Association Test scores and discriminatory behavior. Greater caution in both the legal and scientific communities is warranted. Most importantly, scientific research on implicit bias needs greater transparency and willingness to open raw data to critical scrutiny, not greater trust and deference among researchers. "The purpose of this paper is to present a method for identifying those members of the American Psychological Association having a doctor's degree who are likely to make important contributions to psychology. The approach is essentially that of considering at one time two bits of information about a person." "The sample… consists of 1,974 persons who became Associates of APA and received the doctor's degree during the period 1941 to 1951… ." Three configurations are discussed: (1) those who became APA Associates before they received the doctor's degree; (2) those who became Associates after they received the degree; (3) those who became Associates the same year they received the degree. Criteria of contributions to psychology are publication in the 1954 APA journals and donation of money to APA Building Fund in 1954 and 1955. Three tables of results are presented. College counseling center internships: Are APA-approved sites selecting candidates from non-APA-approved training programs?

The necessity of serving a year-long internship has become an important issue in the training of counseling psychologists. This is especially true for anyone who might be interested in obtaining employment in a college or university counseling center. This particular issue has serious implications for prospective interns who are being trained in non-APA-approved counseling psychology programs who wish to be employed in college and university counseling centers. Currently, there are 25 centers that have active counseling psychology internship training programs, and although only half of them are APA-approved now, the majority of them will be in the near future (Dorn, 1984). If nothing else, they will be facing a restrictive environment when it comes to the development of their professional careers as well as in obtaining an internship in a setting that will be more positively regarded by prospective counseling center employers. In an effort to fully clarify the issue of whether APA-approved counseling psychology internship sites in college and university counseling centers are selecting candidates from non-APA-approved counseling psychology training sites, a brief questionnaire was mailed to each individual who was serving an internship in one of the 13 fully or provisionally APA-approved college and university counseling center sites (APA, 1981) during the 1981-1982 academic year. The results of this survey indicate that although the majority of counseling psychology interns selected by these sites are from APA-approved training programs, intern applicants from non-APA-approved training programs do have an opportunity to serve an APA-approved internship in one of these sites. 网络业务流设计的业务级分析方法

业务流设计是网络工程的一部分,主要是进行网络性能评价和网络性能优化,我们提出了两种新的业务流分析方法－－具有路径约束的关联规则算法PRAR和具有时态路径约束的关联规则算法TPRAR,这两种算法对于全网业务进行相关性分析,是一种基于业务的分析方法,PRAR算法和TPRAR算在Aprior算法的基础上,分别引入了路径约束和时态约束与路径约束,使之更加体现网络业务的特性,使用这两种算法,可以充分利用已有数据,分析已有业务的行为,且可以预测未来业务的行为。     

一种基于线性链表的关联规则挖掘算法

关联规则挖掘是数据挖掘的一个重要研究方向,其算法主要有Apriori算法和FP—growth算法,它们需要多次扫描事务数据库,严重影响算法的效率。为了减少扫描事务数据库的次数,本文提出一种基于线性链表（LinearLinker）的LL算法,它只需扫描事务数据库一次,把事务数据库转换为线性链表LL,进而对LL进行关联规则挖掘。实验表明,LL算法的时间开销明显优于Apriori算法和FP—growth算法,且LL算法通过定义备用候选频繁项目集,有效地支持了关联规则的更新挖掘。
