Life Guard: Evaluation of an ACT-based workshop to facilitate reintegration of OIF/OEF veterans.

Over 2 million soldiers have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001. Evidence suggests that they confront significant difficulties postdeployment, including psychosocial problems such as depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and family distress. Few programs to promote healthy reintegration exist that are evidence-based and designed for those not in formal mental health care. In response to this need, a 2-hour workshop, Life Guard, was developed for the Arkansas National Guard. The workshop is based upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT; Hayes & Strosahl, 2004) and emphasizes skill development to promote resiliency and successful postdeployment reintegration. The purposes of this pilot study were to describe the deployment experiences of OIF/OEF veterans and evaluate the effectiveness of the workshop. The sample included 144 veterans (63 intervention and 81 control) in a quasi-experimental, pre-post design (interim 2 months) with a delayed intervention control group. Both groups were largely young, male, Caucasian, and married. Control participants were significantly older, and more educated. Symptoms of a variety of psychological disorders and social adjustment were assessed at baseline and follow-up. Participants reported high levels of exposure to traumatic events, physical injury, and symptoms of psychosocial distress. In contrast to control participants, intervention participants reported significant declines in symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and increases in relationship satisfaction. Only effects for depression and relationship satisfaction remained significant in between-group comparisons. Further work is needed to evaluate Life Guard, but results suggest it is a promising workshop to assist with reintegration and resiliency. 基于OLI青海文巴地区遥感图像增强及构造解译

对地形切割强烈、海拔较高的地区进行遥感解译,正成为地质基础研究的重要手段。青海文巴地区构造变形复杂,晚古生代以来经历多期隆升和岩浆活动,青藏高原东北缘构造活动具有一定代表性。基于遥感数据OLI,通过OIF指数分析得到R∶G∶B为7∶5∶4的最佳波段组合,然后使用格拉姆—斯密特正交化法对图像融合增强处理。结合研究区已有地质资料,建立解译标志,对断裂构造进行遥感解译。结合野外验证探获断裂26条,主要走向为NW向、NE向、近SN向、近WE向,其中大断裂4条,小断裂22条。这对划分构造期次和进一步找矿工作提供了线索。

ASON标准及设备的逐渐成熟,使ASON设备如何引入现网已成了一个迫切需要回答和解决的问题,本文对ASON的发展现状做了简要的介绍,然后对ASON设备的引入策略进行了分析.     

Women who served in Iraq seeking mental health services: Relationships between military sexual trauma, symptoms, and readjustment.

Eighteen women who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF) sought mental health services at a Veterans' Affairs (VA) medical center. Ten of the 18 women (56%) reported military sexual trauma (MST) while serving in OIF/OEF. All 10 with MST reported sexual harassment, 6 of the 10 (33% of the sample) reported unwanted physical advances, and 3 (17%) reported completed assault or rape. Fifteen women also completed a questionnaire about their experiences and the Iraq Readjustment Inventory (IRI) developed for this study. High reliability and high correlations with clinician ratings make the IRI a promising measure for future research. A comparison between those with and without MST revealed that those with MST had higher clinician ratings and IRI scores, suggesting greater difficulty with readjustment. And, while MST was significantly correlated with clinician ratings and readjustment scores, the variables "being injured" and "witnessing others injured or killed" were not. These preliminary data suggest that MST OIF/OEF women seeking mental health services is a critical factor for predicting symptoms and difficulty with readjustment to civilian life. 引入惩罚收益因素OIF Elman神经网络及其应用*

通过在OIF Elman (Output-Input Feedback Elman)神经网络模型中引入惩罚收益因素,提出了一种基于OIF Elman神经网络的改进模型,并将其用于大气质量的预测和评价.实验模拟结果证明,引入惩罚收益因素OIF Elman模型能够明显提高网络的预测精度,具有极佳的逼近性能,所得预测数据和评价结果与实际结果基本吻合.利用该模型对大气质量进行预测和评价是可行而有效的,具有较好的应用潜能;并为大气环境整治规划提供了一种新的技术和方法.     

基于最优波段组合的TM影像土地覆盖信息分类

针对TM遥感影像光谱特征利用率不高,影响土地覆盖信息分类精度的问题,提出一种基于最优波段组合的分类方法。以赣州市章贡区2006年的TM遥感影像为研究对象,首先根据遥感影像的光谱特征和波段间的相关性计算最佳指数;其次根据研究区域特征,引入修正植被指数,并对原影像进行主成分分析,综合分析最佳指数、修正植被指数和前3个主成分量,认为PC3、RNDVI、Band1为最优波段组合。最后结合监督分类与非监督分类法对最优波段组合成的遥感影像进行分类,得到的整体分类精度为86.237 5%,kappa系数为0.825 3。     

ASON技术发展与ASON/IP多层网络恢复

本文首先介绍了光互联论坛(0IF)组织的ASON(自动交换光网络)多厂商互通测试的进展,然后讨论了ASON发展所面临的挑战,重点探讨了ASON与IP网络之间的关系,深入分析了ASON和IP网络进行保护恢复的各自优势,并对可能的双层恢复进行了探讨.     

Examining MMPI-2 F-family scales in PTSD-diagnosed veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Our study examined Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) F-family validity scales (F, Fb, F-K, Fp) in treatment-seeking veterans diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related to Operation Enduring or Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF). Seventy-nine percent of veterans had F T scores over 65, 54% elevated F over 80 T; and 71% elevated Fb above 65 or 80. Fewer veterans elevated F-K (>13; 22%) and Fp (>100 T; 5%). Differences emerged between veterans with and without elevated (>65 T) F scores on F-family validity scales, clinical scales, and self-report measures of psychopathology.
