DYNAMICALLY VULCANIZED THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER BLENDS OF NATURAL RUBBER AND POLYPROPYLENE

Dynamic vulcanization of a soft grade of thermoplastic natural rubber (TPNR) was carried out using several concentrations of Hexamethylene N, N′ bis (tert-butyl peroxy carbamate) (HBTP). The blends were melt mixed in a Brabender plasticorder. The effectiveness of dynamic vulcanization was investigated using the Brabender plastograms, swelling index measurements, rheological behavior by means of a capillary rheometer, dynamic mechanical properties, and tensile testing. It was found that varying the HBTP concentration had a great influence on the rheological behavior as well as the dynamic and tensile properties of the material. The increase of HBTP dosage resulted in an increase of the extent of crosslinking and caused an increase of the elastic modulus and a reduction of the loss modulus. The ultimate tensile strength and elongation at break also increased with increasing HBTP loading. The rheograms indicated that the blends exhibit a pseudoplastic behavior.     

Effect of Ionic Liquids on Preparative Separation of Flavonoid Compounds in the Extract from Brassica napus L. Pollen using High-Performance Counter-Current Chromatography

To investigate the effect of ionic liquids (ILs) as additives to a two-phase solvent system using high-performance counter-current chromatography, the two structurally similar flavonoids, Kaempferol-3, 4′-di-O-β-D-glucoside and Kaempferol 3-O-β-D-(2-O-β-D-glucosyl)-glucopyranoside, were chosen as models. The effects of the length of the alkyl groups on the imidazolium ring and its counterion, and the concentrations of ILs on the K values were investigated. The results showed that the K values of the target compounds could be improved when ILs were used as additives in the two-phase solvent system. The mechanism of ILs as additives to the solvent system was discussed for the first time.

A new synthetic strategy for the synthesis of novel 6-methyl-3′-aryl spiro[isoxazolo[2,3-b][1,2,4]thiadiazole-2,2′-thiazolidin]-4′-ones (9a–9e) and 6-methyl-3′-aryl spiro[isoxazolo[2,3-b][1,2,4]oxadiazole- 2,2′-thiazolidin]-4′-ones (12a–12e) analogs is described. These compounds showed significant antimicrobial activity against all the standard strains.

2,2′-双[4-(3-氨基苯氧基)苯基]丙烷的合成

提出了以间二硝基苯和双酚A为原料经缩合和水合肼催化还原合成聚酰亚胺的单体2,2′-双[4-(3-氨基苯氧基)苯基]丙烷的新工艺,考察了各类工艺条件对目标产物收率的影响,得到最适宜反应条件,在优化条件下,总收率为85.5%。HPLC面积归一法测定目标产物纯度为99.97%,并用元素分析和红外光谱对目标产物进行了表征。
