This paper proposes a blind watermarking algorithm based on maximum wavelet coefficient quantization for copyright protection. The wavelet coefficients are grouped into different block size and blocks are randomly selected from different subbands. We add different energies to the maximum wavelet coefficient under the constraint that the maximum wavelet coefficient is always maximum in a block. The watermark is embedded the local maximum coefficient which can effectively resist attacks. Also, using the block-based watermarking, we can extract the watermark without using the original image or watermark. Experimental results show that the proposed method is quite robust under either non-geometry or geometry attacks. 相似文献

An examination into the effects of carried military equipment on the performance of two tactical combat movement simulations was conducted. Nineteen Airfield Defence Guards performed a break contact (five 30-m sprints) and a fire and movement simulation (16 6-m bounds) in five load conditions (10–30 kg). Heavier loads significantly increased movement duration on the break contact (0.8%/kg load) and fire and movement (1.1%/kg). Performance deterioration was observed from the beginning to the end of the series of movements (bounds or sprints) with deterioration becoming significantly greater in heavier load conditions. Inter-individual variation between slower and faster participants showed a range in load effects; 0.6, 0.8%/kg for fast and 1.0, 1.4%/kg for slow (break contact, fire and movement, respectively). Velocity profiles revealed that the initial acceleration and peak velocity were the primary determinants of performance. As the duration of these tactical combat movements reflects periods of heightened vulnerability, these findings highlight important implications for commanders.
Practitioner Summary: Increasing amounts of carried military equipment impairs the performance of tactical combat movements. Examination of inter-individual variation in velocity profiles identified that the initial acceleration and the peak velocity achieved during sprints and bounds are key determinants of overall performance. 相似文献

This study explores the effects of cognitive ability (information seeking, inference, spatial recognition, attention span, and attention allocation) and cognitive style (active-reflective, sensing-intuitive, visual-verbal, and sequential-global) on task performance of simulated spaceflight emergency operations that require judgment and operation on a Chinese spaceflight instrument board and the possible interaction effect with training experience. The performance criteria included task completion time and number of human errors. It was found that inference ability, spatial recognition ability, and attention span had significant effects on task completion time, while attention allocation ability had significant effect on the number of error. The participants with a sequential cognitive style made significantly fewer errors than those with a global cognitive style. Training experience significantly decreased task completion time. The participants with sequential cognitive style learnt faster than those with global cognitive style in the spaceflight instrument operations. With increasing training experience, the predictive capability of cognitive ability on performance decreased, whereas the predictive capability of the sequential-global cognitive style on performance increased. 相似文献

The objective of this paper is to establish a computationalscheme for dynamic response calculations of a three-dimensionalmultibody mechanical system with impulsive forces, which give rise tohigh-frequency excitations. The finite-element method is employed torepresent the local deformations of three-dimensional beam-like elasticcomponents by either a finite set of nodal coordinates or a truncatedset of modal coordinates. A reduced-order model is obtained by invokinga modal transformation. Both planar and complex modal reduction schemesare established. The developed formulation is implemented into amultibody simulation program that assembles the equations of motion andproceeds with its solution. The computational scheme permits a change inthe basis of the modal space in order to regulate the admittance ofhigher frequencies and to accommodate any change in the kinematicconfiguration. A method of estimating the spectral representation of a generalized bivariatestable distribution is presented, based on a series of maximum likelihood (ML)estimates of the stable parameters of univariate projections of the data. Thecorresponding stable spectral density is obtained by solving a quadraticprogram. The proposed method avoids the often arduous task of computing themultivariate stable density, relying instead on the standard univariate stabledensity. The paper applies this projection procedure, under the simplifyingassumption of symmetry, to simulated data as well as to foreign exchangereturn data, with favorable results. The problem of channel sharing by rate adaptive streams belonging to various classes is considered. Rate adaptation provides
the opportunity for accepting more connections by adapting the bandwidth of connections that are already in the system. However,
bandwidth adaptation must be employed in a careful manner in order to ensure that (a) bandwidth is allocated to various classes
in a fair manner (system perspective) and (b) bandwidth adaptation does not affect adversely the perceived user quality of
the connection (user quality). The system perspective aspect has been studied earlier. This paper focuses on the equally important
user perspective. It is proposed to quantify user Quality of Service (QoS) through measures capturing short and long-term
bandwidth fluctuations that can be implemented with the mechanisms of traffic regulators, widely used in networking for the
purpose of controlling the traffic entering or exiting a network node. Furthermore, it is indicated how to integrate the user
perspective metrics with the optimal algorithms for system performance metrics developed earlier by the authors. Simulation
results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework.

A multimodel scheme is designed for a triggering tunnel-diode circuit. The scheme improves the transient behavior during the transition time period after switching from a stable system equilibrium point to another one which is known as a triggering process. Each model is obtained by a linearization of the circuit near an equilibrium point. Moreover, each of these models can be described as a combination of two other transfer functions describing the linearized plant behavior near two different equilibrium points. The scheme chooses online the model with the best tracking performance in order to generate the control law. Different reference transfer functions are proposed with the aim of generating the desired transient in the triggering process. Some simulations show the usefulness of this scheme. 相似文献
