新型纸管胶的研制

本文介绍了一种以聚乙烯醇缩甲醛为基材的新型纸管胶，在不加入防冻剂的情况下，具有耐水和抗冻性能，在摄氏零度以下也不凝胶。生产的纸管径向受压强度高，它的工艺操作简单，造价低于聚醋酸乙烯乳液，用途较为广泛。

众所周知,采用粉煤灰制备混凝土,因粉煤灰成分中含有未燃炭等微粒子,容易造成阴离子型引气剂吸附在这些微粒子上,导致含气量经时损失.同时在混凝土的制备、运输过程中,因受采用的材料、拌和状态等物理因素影响,还会发生含气量经时增加的现象.所以在制备、管理混凝土时,如何保证出机初期一定的含气量、缓解含气量的经时损失或经时增加,是一项极其关键的技术.本文将就采用能改善上述状态的引气剂、抑泡剂拌和混凝土,对混凝土的经时变化以及抗冻融性等特征产生的影响进行论述.

Enhancement of contrast in living and fixed specimens by the use of fibre optics

A method is described which enhances the contrast of living and fixed specimens examined with the stereomicroscope. It consists of immersing the ends of flexible fibre optic light sources together with the specimen in the fluid used for examination. It is reported that not only does this method increase the contrast of living specimens but that it may also be applied to specimens being prepared as thin sections or freeze fracture surfaces for examination with the transmission electron microscope. A further method of enhancement of contrast is suggested which involves the fitting of light filters of complementary colours, one to each of the fibre optic light sources, before immersion with the specimen.     

Thermophysical Analysis of Gioia Marble in Dry and Water-Saturated States by the Pulse Transient Method

Measurements of the thermophysical properties of Gioia marble in the temperature range from −20 to 60°C are presented. Thermophysical properties, namely, thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity, and specific heat, were measured by the pulse transient technique. The data were compared for dry and water-saturated states. Despite the very low porosity of marble of about 0.6 vol%, an increase of the transport property parameters (thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity) up to 20% after water saturation was found. To verify the differences in the transport parameters, the ultrasonic pulse velocity method was employed. A detailed analysis of thermophysical property data during the freeze/thaw process for dry and water-saturated marble was carried out in the temperature range from −8 to 1°C, where an anomaly in the water freezing process was observed. In order to study artificial aging of Gioia marble, up to 60 freeze/thaw cycles were performed. No significant changes in the thermophysical properties of Gioia marble were observed during the artificial aging process.
