Magnetic properties were investigated for the rare-earth 3d-transition metal oxides with the perovskite structure. Intriguing magnetic phenomena were reviewed for a few systems:magnetization peak effect in the titanates, magnetization reversal in the chromites and metallic ferromagnetism in the cobahites. In order to study the effect of alloy component on magnetic properties of NdFeB magnets, the experiment schemes are carried out by the uniform design theory, and the relationship between the component and the magnetic properties is established by artificial neural network(ANN) predicting model.The element contents of alloys are optimized by the ANN model.Meanwhile, the influences of mono-factor or multi-factor interaction on alloy magnetic properties are respectively discussed according to the curves ploted by ANN model.Simulation result shows that the predicted and measured results are in good agreement.The relative error is every low, the error is not more than 1.68% for remanence Br, 1.56% for maximal energy product (BH)m, and 7.73% for coercivity Hcj.Hcj can be obviously improved and Br can be reduced by increasing Nd or Zr content.Co and B have advantageous effects on increasing Br and disadvantageous effects on increasing Hcj.Influence of alloying elements on Hcj and Br are inverse, and the interaction among the alloying elements play an important role in the magnetic properties of NdFeB magnets.The ANN prediction model presents a new approach to investigate the nonlinear relationship between the component and the magnetic properties of NdFeB alloys.  相似文献

The structure and hydriding performance of La0.6Nd0.4Ni4.8Mn0.2Cux (x = 0 ~ 0.4) alloys were investigated in order to develop suitable materials for metal hydride air conditioner. The effect of Cu addition on the crystal structure,equilibrium pressure, hydrogen capacity and hysteresis as well as hydrogen absorption/desorption kinetics were systematically studied by using the measurement of P-C isotherms, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. As the amount of Cu increases, the plateau pressure increases and hydrogen absorption/desorption kinetics is improved, but the effective hydrogen storage capacity decreases. It is shown that variations in the basal plane parameter a can be used as an indication for the plateau pressure changes. With the increase of parameter a, the plateau pressure decreases. For La0.6 Nd0.4Ni4.8Mn0.2Cux(x = 0 ~ 0.4) alloys there is a relationship between the effective hydrogen storage capacities and the ratios of their unit cell parameters c and a. The effective hydrogen storage capacity decreases with increase of a/c.  相似文献

To improve the tribological behaviour of porous bearings a new type of self-lubricated porous metal bearing is introduced with special non-uniform distribution of permeability. It has been manufactured using a practical production process, its local permeability varying regularly along its circumference. Theoretical analysis and experimental investigation show that: the new bearing has lower friction and higher load capacity than that of ordinary porous bearings, and there is no initial temperature rise and friction increase with the new bearing. The limiting pV(tested) value of the new bearing is about 200% that of an ordinary porous bearing. Considering non-uniform permeability and the effects of curvature, cavitation and velocity slip, a modified Reynolds equation for the oil film and lubrication equation for the porous matrix are derived. A numerical solution for the equations is obtained. Some aspects of the lubrication mechanism in porous bearings and ways of improving load capacity are also discussed.  相似文献

Pulsed laser deposition in vacuum has been used to develop metal-oxide nanocomposite films with well controlled structural quality. Results for the copper–aluminium oxide (Cu:Al2O3) system are used to illustrate the main morphological and structural features of these films. High resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis shows that the films consist of Cu nanocrystals with average dimensions that can be controlled between 2 nm and 10 nm embedded in an amorphous Al2O3 matrix. It is observed that the in-plane shape of the nanocrystals evolves from circular to elongated, and the number of nanocrystals per unit area decreases as their size increases. This evolution is explained in terms of nucleation at the substrate surface and coalescence during the later stages of growth. The thermal stability of the films has been studied by in situ TEM annealing and no transformation could be observed up to about 800 °C when partial crystallization of the Al2O3 starts.  相似文献
