"Socially mediated reduction of isolation distress in rat pups is blocked by naltrexone but not by Ro 15-1788": Correction to Garden and Hofer.

Reports an error in "Socially mediated reduction of isolation distress in rat pups is blocked by naltrexone but not by Ro 15-1788" by Susan E. Carden and Myron A. Hofer (Behavioral Neuroscience, 1990[Jun], Vol 104[3], 457-463). On page 462, the last paragraph of the first column was incorrect. The corrected paragraph is provided in the erratum. (The following abstract of the original article appeared in record 1990-24769-001.) The presence of a single anesthetized littermate significantly reduced the rate of ultrasonic vocalization by 10-day-old pups isolated in a novel environment. Naltrexone (1.0 mg/kg) returned the vocalization rate to the level of pups tested alone and disrupted the maintenance of body contact between the test pup and a companion. This suggests that the companion exerts comforting effects through endogenous opioid mechanisms. Although chlordiazepoxide is as effective as morphine in the quieting of isolation distress, the benzodiazepine (BDZ) antagonist Ro 15-1788 (5, 10, or 20 mg/kg) was ineffective in blocking the comfort effect and facilitated quiet contact with the companion. In isolated pups, Ro 15-1788 caused a significant, but not a dose-related, decrease in vocalization, a possible indication of the displacement of an endogenous anxiogenic ligand at the BDZ receptor complex. A New Family of Ce6MoO15 as Fast Oxide Ion Conductor

A novel solid solution Ce6MoO15 was achieved. Their structure and oxide ionic conductivity were studied.Based on Ce6MoO15, rare earth element substitution on cerium site shows that all resulting oxides enhance the conductivity further, and have high oxide-ion conductivity, which may be a kind of promising material for SOFCs.

茎注射氮素在玉米籽粒形成中的分布

通过实验研究茎注射氮素在玉米籽粒形成中的分布。对两组缺乏氮素植株进行实验，一组茎注入氮素，另一组用^N—N03处理土壤；并分别进行15氮跟踪，观察玉米繁殖器官中的氮素分布。6天后发现茎注入与根系吸收结果相似。     

大型焦炭塔的整体热处理技术

主体材质为15CrMoR的大型焦炭塔,在施工现场组装、焊接完毕后,必须进行整体热处理。笔者对热处理的目的、热处理原理、热处理工艺、热处理装备以及热处理效果等问题,进行了比较详细的论述和分析。     

苦瓜中具有保护和修复四氧嘧啶损伤HIT-T15细胞功能的有效成分的分离与表征

为探讨苦瓜降糖有效成分的分离纯化,观察其在体外对四氧嘧啶破坏的胰腺β细胞(HIT-T15细胞)的保护修复作用,用SP阳离子交换色谱法对苦瓜抽提液(Momordicacharantiaextract,MCE)的活性组分进行了分离纯化,并用MTT法对经四氧嘧啶破坏前后的胰腺β细胞存活率进行检测,从而考察了MCE的各组分对胰岛β细胞的保护和修复功能,此外还测定了各组分的抗氧活性。结果表明:SP阳离子交换树脂的分离各组分对胰腺β细胞的存活都有促进作用,其中P1、P3、P6组分的效果显著,又以P6组分的效果最佳。相对正常对照组,经P1、P3和P6组分保护并修复的细胞残存率分别为78.64%、89.20%和94.22%;经P1、P3和P6组分保护的细胞残存率分别达59.03%、61.07%和66.16%;经P1、P3和P6组分修复的细胞残存率分别达69.52%、76.32%和77.19%。P1、P3和P6组分的SOD活性分别为22.85、29.98和27.53u/mL。结论:苦瓜抽提液中的3个组分具有一定的SOD活性,在适当的浓度范围内,均具有明显减弱四氧嘧啶对胰腺β细胞的损伤和改善受损的胰腺β细胞的功能。     

The mounting of samples of filamentary A15 superconductor for JC tests

We describe a technique for mounting samples of filamentary A15 superconducting materials which give reliable results in J_c tests. We discuss the possible disadvantages of the method and how these are overcome.     

Do geographical agglomeration, growth and equity conflict?

Abstract.  The paper analyses the impact of economic integration on individual inequality and regional disparity in a model of endogenous growth and geography. Assuming localised learning externalities and perfect mobility of capital, trade integration of economies yields a trade-off for the policy maker because it increases growth and decreases inequality on the one hand, but geographical agglomeration strengthens on the other. However, a policy that aims to improve trade in ideas does not face this trade-off.
Abstract.  El artículo analiza el impacto de la integración económica en la inecualidad individual y la disparidad regional en un modelo de crecimiento endógeno y geografía. Asumiendo externalidades de aprendizaje localizadas y una perfecta movilidad de capitales, la integración de comercio de economías crea un trade-off para el formulador de políticas porque por un lado aumenta el crecimiento y disminuye la inecualidad, pero por otro aumenta la aglomeración geográfica. Sin embargo, una política que trate de mejorar un intercambio de ideas no se enfrenta a este trade-off .
