The antioxidant properties of two wild edible mushroom species from the northeast of Portugal, Lactarius deliciosus (L.) Gray and Tricholoma portentosum (Fr.) Quél., were evaluated. Methanolic extracts from the entire mushroom, the cap and the stipe, separately, were screened for their reducing power and free radical scavenging capacity by chemical assays. The total phenolic content was determined, in order to assess its effect on the extract’s antioxidant activity. Both two species showed antioxidant potential; but L. deliciosus proved to be more active. The portion of the mushroom used had an influence on the results obtained, with the cap methanolic extracts exhibiting the greatest antioxidant effect.  相似文献

Xanthine oxidase (XO) plays an important role in the regulation of uric acid and prevents it from being overproduced as in hyperuricemia disease. The combined effects of antioxidant and xanthine oxidase inhibitor would become a promising approach for hyperuricemia treatment. In this research, the antioxidant and xanthine oxidase inhibitory activities of Pandanus amaryllifolius leaf were evaluated. The leaf water extract (PA‐W) showed highest total phenols, and petroleum ether extract (PA‐PE) showed highest total flavonoids contents. The antioxidant activity of DPPH, metal chelating and hydrogen peroxide was highest in PA‐W extract. The treatment of PA‐W extract at 1000 mg kg?1 body weight in potassium oxonate‐induced hyperuricemic rats showed significant (< 0.001) decrease in serum uric acid level by 85% and XO activity by 64%, respectively, as compared to the hyperuricemic rats. In conclusion, the P. amaryllifolius possess the dual effect of antioxidant and XO inhibition as potential therapeutic agents in the hyperuricemia treatment.  相似文献

Molecular imprinted polymer (MIP MAA-β-CD) with 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) and methacrylic acid functionalized β-cyclodextrin (MAA-β-CD) as the template molecule and the functional monomer, respectively, was prepared and used in molecular imprinted-solid phase extraction (MISPE) for the extraction of phenols (2,4-dichlorophenol, 2-chlorophenol, 4-chloro-3-methylphenol, 4-chlorophenol, 2,4,6-trichlorophenol, and 2-nitrophenol) from water samples. The MISPE method was optimized prior to the determination using gas chromatography coupled with a flame ionization detector (GC-FID). Under the optimized conditions, the MIP MAA-β-CD sorbent showed good linearity (0.01-12 mgL?1), low limits of detection (0.14-0.75 µgL?1), and good repeatability (RSD 2.3-3.6%, n = 3). Good recoveries were obtained in the range of 97-115% for tap water and between 88-103% for river water. The developed MIP MAA-β-CD SPE was then compared with other adsorbents. The unique properties of β-CD and presence of imprinted cavities explains the higher extraction recoveries obtained for phenols when using MIP MAA-β-CD SPE.  相似文献

Polyphenols of olive oil show autoprotective, sensory, and nutritional-therapeutic effects. Two new phenolic compounds have been isolated from virgin olive oils by preparative high-performance liquid chromatography and their structures established on the basis of their mass spectra and nuclear magnetic resonance spectral data. The compounds identified are the lignans pinoresinol and 1-acetoxypinoresinol. Both have been found in all the commercial virgin olive oils analyzed. Pinoresinol concentration was rather similar in all the oils. In contrast, 1-acetoxypinoresinol concentration was higher in oils of the Arbequina and Empeltre cultivars than in Picual or Picudo cultivars. Pinoresinol and 1-acetoxypinoresinol may represent the major phenolic compounds in some Arbequina and Empeltre oils. Lignans possess biological and pharmacological properties and, therefore, the two new compounds identified in olive oils may contribute to the reported beneficial effects which are attributed to polyphenols on human health of a diet rich in olive oil.  相似文献

对比了超声波法、纤维素酶法、先超声波后纤维素酶法、先纤维素酶后超声波法以及超声波纤维素酶同步法5 种提取方式对紫苏叶黄酮、多酚、迷迭香酸提取效果的影响并评价了其提取液的抗氧化能力。结果表明,超声波纤维素酶同步法提取紫苏叶可获得最大含量的黄酮、多酚及迷迭香酸,分别为32.74、20.91、2.42 mg/g,其提取液的DPPH自由基清除能力及铁还原能力最强,分别为614.24、3 277.72 μmol Trolox/L。其抗氧化能力与多酚的含量呈显著正相关,多酚含量与铁还原能力及DPPH自由基清除能力相关系数分别为0.878、0.804,均为极显著(P<0.01)。  相似文献

Seventeen commonly consumed exotic fruits from Mauritius were analysed for their antioxidant capacity, total phenolics, proanthocyanidins, flavonoids and vitamin C content. Two independent methods were used to evaluate the antioxidant potential of total fruit extracts. The antioxidant activities of the fruits ranged from 1 to 47 µmol Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) g?1 fresh weight and from 0.3 to 34 micro/mol g fresh weight (FRAP) g?1 fresh weight. Total phenolics in the fruits ranged from 118 to 5638 µg g?1 fresh weight, proanthocyanidins from 7 to 2561 µg g?1 fresh weight, flavonoids from 21 to 712 µg g?1 fresh weight and vitamin C content from 8 to 1426 µg g?1 fresh weight. There were strong correlations between antioxidant activity (assessed by both TEAC and FRAP) and total phenolics and proanthocyanidins. Flavonoids seemed to contribute less to the antioxidant potential of the fruits, while very poor correlations were observed between ascorbate content and antioxidant activity. The highest antioxidant capacities were observed in red and yellow Psidium cattleianum Sabine ‘Chinese guava’, sweet and acid Averrhoa carambola L ‘starfruit’, Syzygium cumini L Skeels ‘jamblon’ and white Psidium guajava L ‘guava’. These fruits were also characterised by high levels of total phenolics. 利用 β 胡萝卜素 亚油酸乳化液氧化法对杭州市场上常见的 41种果蔬进行了抗氧化活性的研究 ,并测定其总酚的含量。结果表明 :大多数果蔬具有一定的抗氧化活性 ,其中香椿、芦蒿、莴笋叶、水芹、茼蒿菜、马齿苋、藕的抗氧化活性较强 ,其总酚含量也较高 ,说明果蔬抗氧化活性的强弱与果蔬所含的酚类物质有一定的关联性  相似文献
