In order to improve the osteoconductivity and the osteoinductivity of bone tissue engineering scaffold, a novel bi-phase strontium-doped magnesium phosphate/calcium silicate (Sr-MP/CSC) composite scaffold was fabricated by the self-solidifying/particulate leaching method. The bi-phase composition of the well-crystallized struvite grains wrapped by the calcium silicate floccules was propitious to the deformability and toughness of composite scaffold, and the porous structure with interconnected macropores of 100–400?µm was beneficial to supporting the tissue growth and transporting nutrients and metabolites. When the Sr-MP/CSC composite scaffolds were degraded in the simulated physiological environment, the doped strontium could be sustainably released together with Ca2+, Mg2+, PO43- and silidous ions. The proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) on these composite scaffolds were obviously promoted. More valuably, the Sr-doped MP/CSC scaffolds exhibited the more obvious promotion to ALP activity, Col I and OCN expression than the un-doped MP/CSC scaffold, especially in the later stage. The results suggested that the strontium combined with calcium, magnesium and silicon could synergically promote osteogenesis, and the Sr-MP/CSC composite might be one of the promising bone tissue engineering scaffold materials. 相似文献

The mirror region following the fracture initiation site is considered by applying fracture mechanics principles along with experimental observations of the crack velocity at the formation of the mirror mist boundary. Several issues regarding this crack growth in glass are addressed after considering the terminal velocity of crack growth and the mirror mist boundary information on silicate glasses. A strain energy release rate criterion is applied to estimate the kinetic energy of an advancing crack in glass at the mirror/mist boundary. This energy is then utilized to estimate the effective mass of the crack at the mirror/mist boundary. It is compared with material volumes in the vicinity of the crack. 相似文献

Functionalized graphene oxide-modified poly(ε-caprolactone) composites ((graphene oxide)GO/PCL) were successfully synthesized by Steglich esterification for drug applications of controlled release. Lomefloxacin (LMF) was selected as a model drug to investigate its controlled release properties. The controlled release effect of the LMF-contained pills of the GO/PCL and polylactic acid blend was evaluated. In contrast to the pure PCL, GO/PCL could effectively adjust the time of drug release and release the drug at a constant rate, achieving the controlled release requirements. Furthermore, different additive amounts of graphene oxide have different effects on adjusting the time of controlled release, while the best result obtained under the ratio is 4% GO/PCL as carrier of drug. Thus, high-quality drug carrier materials are obtained which are more suitable for clinical use. Exploring the optimum addition of graphene oxide is very significant for the development of GO/PCL carrier material. 相似文献

In situ prolonged delivery of drugs at the site of tumor can be satisfactorily accelerated patient recovery. We compared the effect of temozolomide while incorporated by polycaprolactone nanofibers on the apoptotic behavior of U87 glioma cells. After biocompatibility evaluation of nanofibers by scanning electron microscope and 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazolyl-2)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide analysis, the apoptosis of U87 cells was evaluated using p53, Bcl2 and Bax genes expression. It was found that nanofiber-temozolomide group showed a greater ability to induce apoptosis as well as have a significantly diminished initial burst release of drug compared with other groups and have promising potential in treating cancer. 相似文献

This review describes the kinetics at play in Cucurbituril (CB[n])/guest recognition within a very wide time frame, from picoseconds to days. We cover the kinetics of (1) radiative and non-radiative decays of fluorophores inside and outside CB[n]s, (2) guest motions in the CB[n] cavity, and (3) ingression, egression and threading mechanisms into, out of and through the macrocycles. We then show that the kinetics of guest release or capture can be controlled using CB[n]-capped mesoporous systems and micelles, or by coupling those processes to the kinetics of ancillary reactions. 采用两步法制备海藻酸钠/脲醛树脂复合微胶囊。在树脂化阶段引入海藻酸钠(SA)参与脲醛树脂(UF)的缩聚反应形成复合壳层,制备了阿维菌素复合微胶囊。通过FTIR、TG、SEM、粒度分析等表征微胶囊的结构特征、组成成分、表观形貌、粒度分布。结果表明,SA的引入可有效改善脲醛树脂微胶囊的团聚现象,提高药物的包覆率至60%以上。释放性能研究显示,复合微胶囊的缓释能力较脲醛树脂微胶囊提高,72 d累计释放率由27.5%增至44.5%,且释放速率受pH、温度的影响,25℃下酸性介质中27d累计释放率超过50%。释放行为均可用Korsmeyer-Pappas动力学模型进行描述。 相似文献

In the fragrance and perfume industry, the encapsulation and controlled release of fragrance is important to appeal to consumers and promote the quality of products. Here, we demonstrate that porous metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) can effectively encapsulate and release fragrant molecules in a controlled manner. The incorporation of functional groups into MOFs can improve the adsorption and release behavior of fragrant molecules. We find that polar ester-type fragrances exhibit higher adsorption on polar hydroxyl-functionalized MOF [UiO-66-(OH)2] than on nonpolar MOF (UiO-66), while nonpolar terpenoid-type fragrances show no adsorption difference between these two MOFs. The release profiles show that UiO-66-(OH)2 can prolong the release of polar fragrances compared with nonpolar fragrances. Both the experimental results and computer molecular modeling demonstrate that the hydroxyl groups in UiO-66-(OH)2 can form strong hydrogen binding with different ester fragrances. In the present work, we prepare thermo- and pH-sensitive polymer-based nanoparticles incorporating with magnetic iron oxide as the remote-controlled, stimuli-response nanocarriers. Well-defined, dual functional tri-block copolymer poly[(acrylic acid)-block-(N-isopropylacrylamide)-block-(acrylic acid)], was synthesized via reversible addition-fragmentation chain-transfer (RAFT) polymerization with S,S′-bis(α,α′-dimethyl-α″-acetic acid)trithiocarbonate (CMP) as a chain transfer agent (CTA). With the aid of using 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, the surface-modified iron oxides, Fe3O4-NH2, was then attached on the surface of self-assembled tri-block copolymer micelles via 1-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride/N-hydroxysuccinamide (EDC/NHS) crosslinking method in order to furnish not only the magnetic resources for remote control but also the structure maintenance for spherical morphology of our nanocarriers. The nanocarrier was characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and ultraviolet–visible (UV/Vis) spectral analysis. Rhodamine 6G (R6G), as the modeling drugs, was encapsulated into the magnetic nanocarriers by a simple swelling method for fluorescence-labeling and controlled release monitoring. Biocompatibility of the nanocarriers was studied via 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, which revealed that neither the pristine nanocarrier nor the R6G-loaded nanocarriers were cytotoxic to the normal fibroblast cells (L-929 cells). The in vitro stimuli-triggered release measurement showed that the intelligent nanocarriers were highly sensitive to the change of pH value and temperature rising by the high-frequency magnetic field (HFMF) treatment, which provided the significant potential to apply this technology to biomedical therapy by stimuli-responsive controlled release. 相似文献
