烤烟硅肥肥效及施用量的研究

本文以省内８个产烟县统一硅肥肥效试验结果中的产量及产值为依据，分别进行了各点试验及其同质检验试验的变量分析，其中多数试验的处理Ｆ值都达到显著标准。硅肥对烤烟增产增值是有效的，可信的，应注意因地制宜施用具佳施硅量。硅肥增产增值原因在于促进烤烟生长，增加叶面积及其指数，以及缓解烤烟病害，特别是炭疽病害，因而提高了烤烟中上等烟的比例。

A Controlled Study of a Cigarette Smoking Cessation Intervention for Adolescents in Substance Abuse Treatment.

Tobacco use is prevalent among youth with alcohol and other drug problems, yet this issue has received limited research and clinical attention. This study reports on a controlled evaluation of a cigarette smoking intervention with 54 adolescents in treatment for substance abuse, ages 13-18 (22% female). Participants were assessed at 4 time points. A greater proportion of participants in the treatment condition (n = 26) reported cessation attempts and point abstinence than did control participants (n = 28) at all time points. However, significant differences were found only for point abstinence at a 3-month follow-up. These findings provide initial support for the efficacy of a smoking cessation intervention delivered in the context of adolescent substance abuse treatment. Dynamic crack propagation in steel line pipes. Part I: Experimental investigation

An experimental-theoretical research project on dynamic crack propagation on steel line pipes intended for arctic service was developed. The aim of this study is to characterize the dynamic material behavior, to propose line pipe qualification tests, and to identify the variables that govern the dynamic fracture process and their relationships. The first part of this research involves the experimental work and outlines a practical test to assess fitness for service of arctic pipelines. Burst tests of line pipes samples at low temperature were carried out and crack extension vs. time was measured. The axial crack fracture mechanism was quasi-cleavage in the center of the pipe wall with lateral shear lips. A pressure range for LBB (leak before break) condition was obtained. In Part II of this research a new model for the assessment of the dynamic material properties from the analysis of test results obtained in Part I is developed.
