Prediction of the hydraulic diffusivity from pore size distribution of concrete

A model is presented in this work through which variation of hydraulic diffusivity of concrete with relative water content can be obtained from pore size distribution as an input. The specific water capacity and hydraulic conductivity of concrete are expressed in terms of pore size characteristics, considering laminar flow due to capillary suction through tortuous elliptic tubes, oriented equally in three orthogonal directions. Hydraulic diffusivity being the ratio of hydraulic conductivity and specific water capacity is thus expressed in terms of pore size characteristics. The input pore size distributions have been determined experimentally for normal strength concrete mixes through mercury intrusion porosimetry. Using the model the variation of hydraulic diffusivity with relative water content is determined for three cases viz. 1) ideal continuous wetting, 2) ideal continuous drying and 3) random access of pores by water. These results are then compared with an experimentally obtained variation.

Method of electrodialysis stack testing with the feed solution concentration regulation

A technique to test electrodialysis (ED) stacks designed to desalt dilute solutions is developed. The technique permits obtaining reproducible data on laboratory and medium-scale units useful for predicting mass transfer characteristics of large ED stacks. Quasi-steady state of desalination process is the main condition to obtain such data. This state can be attained by applying recycling hydraulic modes and special devices to maintain constant pH, or pH and concentration of the feed solution. To obtain data for scaling, it is necessary to apply a fixed voltage on the stack and to use a constant flow rate of the feed solution during the experiment, the feed solution concentration may vary with the time. Specifications of the stacks studied, rational hydraulic and electrical modes of testing are considered.     

不同结合系统刚玉-方镁石-尖晶石浇注料的性能

对比研究了水泥结合和水合氧化铝结合的刚玉 -方镁石 -尖晶石浇注料的性能。结果表明 :二者相比 ,水合氧化铝结合浇注料的需水量较大 ,流动性较差 ,烧结致密化温度高 ,在 1 5 5 0℃下烧结后的强度和致密度低 ,但其抗热震性能及抗渣性能较好。     

An intelligent stock trading system using comprehensive features

The aim of this study is to predict automatic trading decisions in stock markets. Comprehensive features (CF) for predicting future trend are very difficult to generate in a complex environment, especially in stock markets. According to related work, the relevant stock information can help investors formulate objects that may result in better profits. With this in mind, we present a framework of an intelligent stock trading system using comprehensive features (ISTSCF) to predict future stock trading decisions. The ISTSCF consists of stock information extraction, prediction model learning and stock trading decision. We apply three different methods to generate comprehensive features, including sentiment analysis (SA) that provides sensitive market events from stock news articles for sentiment indices (SI), technical analysis (TA) that yields effective trading rules based on trading information on the stock exchange for technical indices (TI), as well as the trend-based segmentation method (TBSM) that raises trading decisions from stock price for trading signals (TS). Experiments on the Taiwan stock market show that the results of employing comprehensive features are significantly better than traditional methods using numeric features alone (without textual sentiment features).

星地时间同步是导航定位系统的重要组成部分,准确评价星地时间同步任务规划的好坏,是卫星方案设计及优化提高卫星导航系统运行效率的基础。针对导航卫星星地时间同步任务规划评价问题,建立了基于任务、资源、性能的多层次评价指标体系,构造了通用的综合评价框架,最后通过仿真验证了方法的可行性,为导航系统的顶层设计与地面资源配置优化提供决策支持。
