Losses in an MHD generator not only reduce the power output but also degrade it. The losses due to heat, friction and leakage through insulating-wall/slag have been analyzed for the diagonal generator for better control and performance. The losses due to leakage are higher than the heat and friction losses. The effect of wall temperature on losses is significant. The heat and friction losses decrease with increase in wall temperature, whereas the leakage losses increase with increase in wall temperature. 在埋炭条件下,以金属铝粉、氧化钨及刚玉为原料,对以铝热反应为基础制备的Al2O3-W复合材料的抗渣性能进行了研究.结果表明Al2O3-W复合材料的抗渣性能随金属钨含量的增加而改善.金属钨和渣较差的润湿性是一个重要因素,而氧化铝和熔渣的反应机理和常规刚玉质材料的抗渣蚀机理一致.金属钨和渣中被还原的铁相反应生成高熔点相Fe7W6,增加了液相的粘度,抑制了熔渣的侵蚀和渗透. 相似文献

Inorganic fiber shows good insulation performance in civil construction and industry insulation. In the present paper, tensile strength of slag fiber produced with molten blast furnace slag was investigated systematically with the Weibull distribution theory in comparison with glass and basalt fibers. It was found that the mean tensile strength reached 2578.60 MPa and the shape parameter m in Weibull distribution is 2.4494, which indicates a lower uniformity. Anti-corrosion performances were also studied by means of the mass and strength loss after acid and alkaline solution treatment. Furthermore, SEM and FTIR were used to analyze the structural characteristics of original and treated fibers. This work has proved that the H+ and OH− can both break the Si–O bond and then lead to the movement to high wavenumber for the bands of the symmetric stretching vibrations of [SiO4]-tetrahedra. The anti-corrosion results indicated that slag fibers could not be used in acid environment, while its anti-alkali performance is relatively excellent compared with glass and basalt fibers. 相似文献

连铸熔渣检测存在首不少困难,例如,要从各种干扰中检测十分微弱的有用信号,保护传感器能经受高达900℃的环境温度,而且它的大小受有限制。此外,导电的长水口对电涡流检测也非常不利。本课题还是采用电涡流传感器,因为这种传感器较灵敏,容易制造,也较便宜、为了适合导电的长水口,并使传感器小型化,必须设计大幅度的AC恒流源,用来激励检测线圈(传感器)。检测仪器除了恒流源外,主要还有温度补偿、脉冲形成、脉宽鉴别以及编码、译码等电路。本文叙述检测装置的基本要求和设计原理。最后,给出装置的技术指标和工业试验结果。 相似文献

Carbon-bonded magnesia and magnesia-alumina bricks are the state of the art lining materials of the sidewalls and the bottom of steel ladles. Industrial trial tests revealed, that a new generation of MgO–MgAl2O4–C bricks, where pre-reacted spinel is added in form of a new calcium magnesium aluminate (CMA) raw material, exhibit a longer service life caused by an enhanced corrosion resistance due to the formation of a protective slag layer. In terms of this work, laboratory corrosion tests have been performed in order to mimic the protective slag layer formation and to study the kinetics of the formation. It has been found that the formation highly depends on the amount of iron present in the melt, which leads to the precipitation of the brownmillerite-phase. Furthermore, the study was extended to force the formation of protective slag layers of different composition which are reliable at higher temperatures and wider temperature ranges by targeted adaption of the brick composition. Cup tests showed that there is a potential to manipulate the composition of a protective slag layer by targeted adaption of the brick composition. The rapid chloride permeability test (RCPT)—American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) test method C1202 or American Association of States Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) test method T277—is virtually a measurement of electrical conductivity of concrete, which depends on both the pore structure characteristics and pore solution chemistry of concrete. This paper discusses the effects of several factors, such as cement composition, replacement of cement with supplementary cementing materials and inclusion of aggregate, on the electrical conductivity or RCPT results of hardened cement mortars and concrete. Analyses based on published results have indicated that all the three factors may have significant effects on the chemistry and specific conductivity of concrete pore solution, which has little to do with the transport of ions in the solution. Thus, RCPT is not a valid test for evaluation of permeability of concretes made with different materials or different proportions. 相似文献
