土地利用覆盖变化是当前国际地学研究的热点之一,通过大量的数据收集,利用灰色系统理论将洞庭湖各流域土地利用/覆盖对其水土流失的影响进行了聚类分析和关联分析.结果表明:1、耕地、荒山地、林地为洞庭湖流域水土流失影响的第一类因素,影响最大;非农业用地、草地为洞庭湖流域水土流失影响的第二类因素,影响居中;滩涂用地、园地、水域为洞庭湖流域水土流失影响的第三类因素,影响最小.2、各种土地利用类型对洞庭湖流域水土流失影响的排序为耕地、荒山地、林地、草地、非农业用地、园地、水域、滩涂用地.论文旨在为洞庭湖流域水土流失及洞庭湖的治理提供科学依据. 相似文献

In contrast to marine systems where remote sensing methods in studies of benthic organisms have been widely used for decades, these methods have experienced limited use in studies of freshwater benthos due to the general lack of large epifauna. The situation has changed with the introduction of dreissenid bivalves capable of creating visible aggregations on lake bottoms into North American freshwaters in the 1980s and 1990s. The need for assessment of Dreissena densities prompted exploration of videography as a potentially cost-effective tool. We developed a novel sampling method that analyzes video recorded using a GoPro camera mounted to a benthic sled to estimate Dreissena coverage, density, and biomass over relatively large areas of the lake bed in the Laurentian Great Lakes compared to traditional sampling methods. Using this method, we compared quagga mussel coverage, density, and biomass estimates based on three replicate Ponar grabs vs. 500?m-long video transects across 43 stations sampled in Lake Michigan in 2015. Our results showed that analysis of images from video transects dramatically increased the bottom area surveyed compared to Ponar grabs and increased the precision of Dreissena density and biomass estimations at monitoring stations. By substantially increasing the ability to detect relatively small (<20%) changes between years within a particular station, this method could be a useful and cost-effective addition for monitoring Dreissena populations in the Great Lakes and other freshwater systems where they occur. 相似文献

We investigate the nearshore-offshore exchange of hypoxic waters during episodic coastal upwelling events in the nearshore waters of northern Lake Erie using intensive field observations and a validated hydrodynamic and water quality model. We observe wind-induced coastal upwelling events to be the dominant nearshore physical process in the lake which are energized every 5–10 days. When the winds were predominantly blowing from the west or south-west, epilimnetic waters were transported to the offshore bringing in hypolimnetic waters with low temperature (8–10 °C), dissolved oxygen (DO: 0–6 mg L?1) and pH (6–7) to the nearshore zones. During these events, vertical diffusivity coefficients decreased from 10?2 m2 s?1 to values as low as ~ 10?7 m2 s?1. In late summer, the coastal upwelling events in the nearshore waters lower the near bottom DO to hypoxic levels (DO < 2 mg L?1). Lake-wide observations of DO and pH show that they are positively and linearly correlated while in the nearshore DO and pH experience spatial and temporal variability where upwelling events were developed, which were further assessed using a three-dimensional model. The model accuracy to reproduce offshore hypoxia was first assessed on a lake-wide basis using a coarse resolution model for a five-year period (2008–2012) and in nearshore waters using a higher resolution model for 2013. A hydrodynamic model that includes ice processes and is optimized for parallel processing was configured for Lake Erie in order to study the ice–water coupling processes in the lake. A hindcast from April 2003 to December 2004 with hourly atmospheric forcing was conducted. The model reproduced the seasonal variation of ice cover, but the development of ice extent in January and its decay in March somewhat preceded the observations. Modeled lake circulation in ice-free seasons is consistent with previous studies for Lake Erie. Thermal structure of the lake was reasonably comparable to both satellite-derived observations and in-situ measurements, with mean differences ranging from − 2 °C to 4 °C, depending on the season. The impacts of ice–water stress coupling and basal melting of ice were examined based on numerical experiments. The results show that: 1) ice–water stress coupling significantly dampens the subjacent lake circulation in winter due to packed ice cover that slows down the surface water, and 2) basal melting of ice contributes to widespread ice cover in the lake. The demonstrated model validity could lead to further studies of ice–water processes in the lake, including interannual variation and impacts on ecosystems. 相似文献

With the large Diporeia declines in lakes Michigan, Huron, and Ontario, there is concern that a similar decline of Mysis diluviana related to oligotrophication and increased fish predation may occur. Mysis density and biomass were assessed from 2006 to 2016 using samples collected by the Great Lakes National Program Office's biomonitoring program in April and August in all five Great Lakes. Summer densities and biomasses were generally greater than spring values and both increased with bottom depth. There were no significant time trends during these 10–11 years in lakes Ontario, Michigan, or Huron, but there was a significant increase in Lake Superior. Density and biomass were highest in lakes Ontario and Superior, somewhat lower in Lake Michigan, and substantially lower in Lake Huron. A few Mysis were collected in eastern Lake Erie, indicating a small population in the deep basin of that lake. On average, mysids contributed 12–18% (spring-summer, Michigan), 18–14% (spring-summer, Superior), 30–13% (spring-summer, Ontario), and 3% (Huron) of the total open-water crustacean biomass. Size distributions consisted of two peaks, indicating a 2-year life cycle in all four of the deep lakes. Mysis were larger in Lake Ontario than in lakes Michigan, Superior, and Huron. Comparisons with available historic data indicated that mysid densities were higher in the 1960s–1990s (5 times higher in Huron, 2 times higher in Ontario, and around 40% higher in Michigan and Superior) than in 2006–2016. 相似文献

Zooplankton are an important link in aquatic food webs of lakes serving as consumers of algae, bacteria, and other microorganisms and as prey for fish and invertebrates. Despite their importance, little is known about the structure of the zooplankton communities of subtropic, large, shallow, eutrophic freshwater lakes. Our investigation of zooplankton communities in Lake Taihu, a subtropic, shallow, eutrophic lake and the third largest lake in China provides new information on this subject. Zooplankton, phytoplankton, and water chemistry samples were collected monthly from July 2006 to June 2007 in Meiliang and Gonghu Bays of Lake Taihu. Thirty zooplankton species were identified in Meiliang Bay with small-bodied cladocerans Bosmina coregoni and Ceriodaphnia cornuta contributing 21% and 11%, respectively to total zooplankton abundance which averaged 459 ind/L. Thirty-five species were identified in Gonghu Bay with the rotifers Polyarthra trigla and Brachionus calyciflorus the dominant species, contributing 21% and 11% respectively to total zooplankton abundance which averaged 467 ind/L. Predation by lake anchovy (Coilia ectenes taihuensis) and ice fish (Neosalanx tangkahkeii taihuensis) likely accounted for the dominance of both bays by small-bodied species. Community structure and community patterns were correlated with differences in Microcystis blooms and organic matter levels (chemical oxygen demand) in the two bays. Based on canonical correspondence analyses dissolved total nitrogen, orthophosphate, Cyclotella and Pinnularia also contributed to variability in zooplankton community composition. 相似文献
