台塑公司高密度聚乙烯专用树脂的开发策略

介绍了台湾塑胶工业股份有限公司高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)树脂的生产装置、工艺技术、生产能力、树脂牌号及新产品开发现状,同时阐述了HDPE专用树脂的开发策略。目前,台塑公司HDPE商品牌号台塑烯的产品包括薄膜专用树脂、中空吹塑专用树脂、挤出专用树脂和注塑等用树脂等,并且产品具有单峰、双峰甚至宽峰相对分子质量分布的特性。2006年,台塑公司将调整台塑烯专用树脂的生产比例,强化产品结构而维持一定的营利水平。     

Adhesion Mechanisms of Polyurethanes to Glass Surfaces I. Structure-Property Relationships in Polyurethanes and Their Effects on Adhesion to Glass

Polyurethanes were prepared from toluene diisocyanate (TDI), 1-4-butane diol (BDO) and polycaprolactone-based triols with varying molecular weights. Among each molecular weight triol-based urethane, hard segment content was varied from 20% to 70%. Differential scanning calorimetry, tensile testing, and Iosipescu shear testing were done on all the various urethanes prepared. Thermal characterization data revealed the dependence of phase separation on hard segment content as well as on the triol molecular weight. Tensile data and Iosipescu shear data further confirmed the observations made from the DSC data. The data further indicated that phase separation can greatly improve the modulus of cross-linked segmented urethanes. Adhesion of these urethanes to glass surface was evaluated using soda-lime float glass plate. Urethane samples were cast on the air side of the glass plates and adhesion was measured in shear mode. Adhesion data indicated that in addition to hard segment content, modulus, cross-link density, and molecular weight of the triols, phase separation seems to be a major factor in controlling adhesion. Surfaces of the failed adhesion samples were also analyzed and the failure mode was found to be cohesive, in varying degree, with the different urethane systems.

Influence of current density on oxygen transfer in an electroflotation cell

The objective of this work is to study the transfer of oxygen from gas to liquid phase in an electroflotation cell. The measurements were performed in a laboratory scale cell using insoluble electrodes, titanium coated with ruthenium oxide as anode and stainless steel as cathode. The volumetric mass transfer coefficient K _L a, was characterized for clean tap water as liquid phase for different values of current density (J). The global coefficient of mass transfer based on the liquid film, K _L , and the specific interfacial area, a, were characterized. A model which relates K _L a to current density was established. Different evaluation criteria of oxygen transfer in electroflotation process were determined and compared with other aeration process.     

Fertilizers and eutrophication in southwestern Australia: Setting the scene

An excess of plant nutrients has caused serious eutrophication in aquatic ecosystems of southwestern Australia manifested by excessive growth and accumulation of green and bluegreen algae. Phosphorus is generally the limiting nutrient for algal growth and phosphatic fertilizers applied to nutrient-deficient, leaching, sandy soils are the main source of P, supplemented by rural industry point sources. Nitrogen is the limiting nutrient in marine embayments with little drainage from the land. Measures to reduce the load of P delivered to drainage include basing fertilizer application rates on soil testing for P and the use of less soluble P fertilizers. Catchment management plans are being implemented with community involvement to reduce P loads and maintain agricultural production. This introductory paper reviews the history of eutrophication in southwestern Australia and of studies into its causes, principally in the large Peel-Harvey estuary. It briefly summarises other papers in this special issue concerned with different aspects of the problem: how to fertilize the land without causing eutrophication.

板式精馏塔实验性能测试

本文对废液中低浓度乙醇的回收再利用进行了研究,主要对低浓度乙醇精馏过程中的不同实验条件进行了初探,得出了塔釜加热电压,塔釜液浓度,回流比等实验条件与塔顶产品浓度之间的关系,并用计算机绘制了图表,确定一组最优的实验条件。     

3种高电流密度离子膜电解槽的性能对比与介绍

目前离子膜电解槽的发展方向为复极、自然循环、高电流密度、低电耗，伍德诺拉公司BM2．7-Ⅲ型槽、美国西方化学公司ExL^B-65槽、日本氯工程公司BiTAC-858槽即具有这些先进性能。对这3种槽进行了介绍与对比。     

超声波对沉淀二氧化硅的分散解聚研究

研究了超声波对沉淀二氧化硅的分散解聚效果，实验证明，当频率为40kHz，功率密度达到1．8W/cm^2时，沉淀二氧化硅浆料可以获得极佳的分解效果，二氧化硅聚集体小于77．6nm的颗粒数量达98．9％。     

采用复合分散剂制备高表观密度聚氯乙烯树脂

介绍了高醇解度、高粘度聚乙烯醇 6 35与分散能力较强的其它分散剂按一定配比复合后的使用情况 ,结果表明 :采用复合分散剂 ,可在保持PVC树脂具有适当孔隙率的前提下 ,提高其表观密度 ;采用KH2 0 /6 0SH5 0复合分散剂在 10L釜中制得的PVC树脂表观密度约为 0 .4 6g/mL ;采用 6 35 /B72或 6 35 /F5 0复合分散剂制得PVC树脂的表观密度可比采用通用分散体系提高 10 %～ 15 % ,且水油比减少 ,增塑剂吸收量提高。分析了影响树脂表观密度和颗粒形态的主要因素
