Crashworthiness simulation system is one of the key computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools for the automobile industry and implies two potential conflicting requirements: accuracy and efficiency. A parallel crashworthiness simulation system based on graphics processing unit (GPU) architecture and the explicit finite element (FE) method is developed in this work. Implementation details with compute unified device architecture (CUDA) are considered. The entire parallel simulation system involves a parallel hierarchy-territory contact-searching algorithm (HITA) and a parallel penalty contact force calculation algorithm. Three basic GPU-based parallel strategies are suggested to meet the natural parallelism of the explicit FE algorithm. Two free GPU-based numerical calculation libraries, cuBLAS and Thrust, are introduced to decrease the difficulty of programming. Furthermore, a mixed array and a thread map to element strategy are proposed to improve the performance of the test pairs searching. The outer loop of the nested loop through the mixed array is unrolled to realize parallel searching. An efficient storage strategy based on data sorting is presented to realize data transfer between different hierarchies with coalesced access during the contact pairs searching. A thread map to element pattern is implemented to calculate the penetrations and the penetration forces; a double float atomic operation is used to scatter contact forces. The simulation results of the three different models based on the Intel Core i7-930 and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 demonstrate the precision and efficiency of this developed parallel crashworthiness simulation system.  相似文献

This work is concerned with the prediction of visual colour difference between pairs of palettes. In this study, the palettes contained five colours arranged in a horizontal row. A total of 95 pairs of palettes were rated for visual difference by 20 participants. The colour difference between the palettes was predicted using two algorithms, each based on one of six colour-difference formulae. The best performance (r2 = 0.86 and STRESS = 16.9) was obtained using the minimum colour-difference algorithm (MICDM) using the CIEDE2000 equation with a lightness weighing of 2. There was some evidence that the order (or arrangement) of the colours in the palettes was a factor affecting the visual colour differences although the MICDM algorithm does not take order into account. Application of this algorithm is intended for digital design workflows where colour palettes are generated automatically using machine learning and for comparing palettes obtained from psychophysical studies to explore, for example, the effect of culture, age, or gender on colour associations.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel approach to the localization of moving targets in a complex environment based on the measurement of the perturbations induced by the target presence on an independently‐generated time‐varying electromagnetic field. Field perturbations are measured via a set of sensors deployed over the domain of interest and used to detect and track a possible target by resorting to a particle Bernoulli filter (PBF). To comply with real‐time operation, the PBF works along with an artificial neural network (ANN) model of the environment trained offline via finite elements (FEs). The performance of the proposed algorithm is assessed via simulation experiments.  相似文献

Numerical dissipation acts as artificial viscosity to make smoke viscous. Reducing numerical dissipation is able to recover visual details smeared out by the numerical dissipation. Great efforts have been devoted to suppress the numerical dissipation in smoke simulation in the past few years. In this paper we investigate methods of combating the numerical dissipation. We describe visual consequences of the numerical dissipation and explore sources that introduce the numerical dissipation into course of smoke simulation. Methods are investigated from various aspects including grid variation, high-order advection, sub-grid compensation, invariant conservation, and particle-based improvement, followed by discussion and comparison in terms of visual quality, computational overhead, ease of implementation, adaptivity, and scalability, which leads to their different applicability to various application scenarios.  相似文献

An adaptive numerical dissipation control in a class of high order filter methods for compressible MHD equations is systematically discussed. The filter schemes consist of a divergence-free preserving high order spatial base scheme with a filter approach which can be divergence-free preserving depending on the type of filter operator being used, the method of applying the filter step, and the type of flow problem to be considered. Some of these filter variants provide a natural and efficient way for the minimization of the divergence of the magnetic field (∇·B) numerical error in the sense that commonly used divergence cleaning is not required. Numerical experiments presented emphasize the performance of the ∇·B numerical error. 当井底压力低于露点压力时,凝析液在近井地带开始析出并不断聚集产生凝析油堵塞现象。因此,在制定凝析气井工作制度时,通常以控制生产压差为指导思想,往往忽略高速流动下凝析气液相变的非平衡特征。对于凝析气体系,当外界温压变化速度超过凝析气液的相平衡速度时,凝析气体系相变滞后,开始呈现非平衡特征,即凝析液的析出量随着压降速度的增加而减小。凝析气在向井筒流动的过程中,近井区高速流动使凝析气产生非平衡相变,凝析气在比较高的压降速度下流入井筒,使得凝析液来不及析出。在分析非平衡相变规律与近井地带凝析气渗流参数分布的基础上,评价凝析气液流动过程中的非平衡特征,给出了考虑非平衡相变的凝析液饱和度分布计算公式,并进行了产能预测结果对比。实例分析表明,可以通过适当放大生产压差,增加凝析气液相变非平衡特征,减小井筒附近的凝析液饱和度,提高气井产能与气藏开发效果。  相似文献

水力射孔技术是一种新型的完井方式,深穿透水力射孔技术辅助定向水力压裂可以实现油气层改造和油气井增产。但是,水力射孔套管会在孔眼处造成应力集中,使得局部应力过大而削弱了套管和水泥环的强度,可能会影响套管的使用寿命。因此,文章利用有限元软件建立了射孔套管的三维有限元模型,分析了水力射孔后套管管体的应力分布,重点研究了水力射孔参数-孔密、孔径、孔深、射孔方位角等对套管强度的影响规律。分析结果表明,沿着最大水平地应力方向深穿透水力射孔,选择合适的孔密、孔径可将射孔对套管的损害降至最小。研究结果为提高水力射孔完井设计水平提供了一定的参数依据。  相似文献

研究和了解燃气在管道中的流动,是进行燃气管网系统优化和提高管网输运系统安全性的前提和基础。以流体力学三大守恒方程为基础,建立了等温和非等温条件下的燃气管网稳态和动态仿真理论模型。以有限差分法为基础,得到了上述模型的求解方法,并加入了耗散项,提高了求解方法的稳定性。通过增加初始点和延长出口点的方法,简化了模型的求解。通过在北京六环天然气管网中的初步应用,分别得到了与实际值综合相对误差为1.21%和2.62%的压力和流量仿真值,从而验证了模型及求解方法的可靠性。  相似文献

在有限差分波动方程数值模拟中,通常采用高阶差分方法来提高空间导数的数值逼近精度,以实现降低数值频散,提高数值模拟精度的目的。首先对差分频散进行了理论分析;然后讨论了估计一阶空间导数的隐式差分格式,并与通常采用的高阶精度显式差分格式进行了对比分析,结果表明,隐式差分格式能够在更宽的波数范围使差分频散控制在可接受的水平,如8阶精度的显式差分格式所适应的波数带宽约为O.55kmax,而隐式差分格式所适应的波数带宽约为0.7kmax;最后通过模型试算,对隐式差分格式的有效性进行了验证。模拟结果表明,用隐式差分格式在一定程度上降低了差分频散,提高了模拟精度。  相似文献
