人脸识别研究进展

人脸识别技术在各种应用的推动下发展很快。而近几年中，为避免各种实际应用环境的限制，非约束环境下的人脸识别也得到了很大的发展。本文概述了人脸识别的一些主要方法，讨论了影响人脸识别的几个主要因素及其处理方法以及基于视频的人脸识别技术，最后指出了鲁棒的人脸识别技术的研究方向和发展前景。     

Trauma, dissociation, and conflict: The space where neuroscience, cognitive science, and psychoanalysis overlap.

The authors describe their scientific and clinical interests in developing the panel Trauma, Dissociation, and Conflict: The Space Where Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, and Psychoanalysis Overlap, given at the 22nd Annual Spring Meeting of the Division of Psychoanalysis of the American Psychological Association. They cite the influence of the panelists, Philip M. Bromberg, Wilma Bucci, and Joseph LeDoux, on their own work. Specializing in the treatment of chronic pain, Anderson has developed a relational intersubjective technique informed by this interdisciplinary approach. Gold's work has focused on the distinction between dissociative processes and repression in traumatic memory. The relevance of trauma, dissociation, and conflict, heightened since September 11, 2001, could not have been anticipated in the planning of the panel. Effects of stimulus emotionality and sentence generation on memory for words in adults with unilateral brain damage.

Does sentence generation and/or stimulus emotionality enhance verbal memory in patients with neurological impairment? This question was addressed by testing 40 patients with unilateral stroke (20 with left-brain and 20 with right-brain damage) and 20 healthy control participants for recall and recognition of 48 target words. During encoding, emotional and nonemotional words were either presented in sentences (read condition) or used to form sentences (generate condition). Both word emotionality and generative processing improved memory performance in all groups. The authors suggest that a similar influence (i.e., cognitive activation) underlies both of these memory-enhancing effects, although the putative origins of the 2 effects are quite different. Integrating psychology and politics.

Comments on the article "A house divided? The psychology of red and blue America" by D. C. Seyle and M. L. Newman (see record 2006-11202-001). Seyle and Newman concluded that the red and blue metaphor is inaccurate and proposed a purple America strategy to better convey that the majority of people do not align themselves with political extremes. There is interdisciplinary agreement on this. Although not cited by Seyle and Newman, the findings by Professor Fiorina of Stanford University were reported by the APA Monitor on Psychology in its coverage of the 2005 APA State Leadership Conference (Murray Law, 2005). In contrast to their social psychological analysis, Seyle and Newman were incorrect in concluding that "[a]s psychologists, we are not in a position to change either the elements of the American political system that may spur this conflict or even the decisions made by pundits, politicians, and reporters about the terms they choose to use in political discussion" (p. 579). Real-time control of video surveillance systems with program supervision techniques

In this article, we describe a knowledge-based controlled platform using program supervision techniques. This platform eases the creation and the configuration of video surveillance systems. Several issues need to be addressed to provide a correct system configuration: (1) to choose, among a library of programs, those which are best satisfying a given user request, (2) to assign a correct value for each program parameter, (3) to evaluate performances and to guarantee a performance rate which is satisfactory regarding end-user requirements. This platform is composed of three main components: the library of programs, the knowledge base and the control component. The knowledge is either given by experts or learnt by the system. The control is generic in the sense that it is independent of any application. To validate this platform, we have built and evaluated six video surveillance systems which are featured with three properties: adaptability, reliability and real-time processing.     

基于奇异值分解和神经网络的个性化信息模式识别

随着信息资源的持续增长，信息获取系统为特定用户提供特定信息服务的需求越来越重要。该文提出了基于奇异值分解和神经网络的个性化信息模式识别的方法，可以方便地获取用户信息需求的特征，并且利用这些特征信息完成个性化的信息识别和匹配，即实现个性化信息的模式识别，进而实现信息的个性化获取和管理。该文中的算法实现简单，可以方便地应用到目前的一些信息管理、服务系统中。     

泡沫酸化工艺对川中低压裂缝性油藏适应性的认识

针对川中油田经过多年的消耗式开采,各主产油田压力很低,增产改造的难度增大的发展现状,提出应用泡沫酸化工艺技术在川中低压油层增产改造的技术方案,其中分析了泡沫酸的物理特性、其在地层优良的渗流特性(滤失小、酸岩反应速度慢、返排迅速等优点),并进行了泡沫酸液体系的室内配方研究,提出了工艺设施的矿场配套研究内容.得出了泡沫酸化工艺对川中低压裂缝性油藏改造具有很强的适应性,具有推广应用的价值.     

CPM自滤波非稳腔YAG激光器研究

把由非谐振环和凸面全反射镜构成的自滤波非稳腔应用于撞脉冲锁模Ｎｄ：ＹＡＧ激光器，改善了光束的空间质量和输出稳定性，获得发散角为２倍衍射极限，能量５０ｍＪ，脉宽１０ｐｓ的锁模脉冲，并与未加滤波小孔的ＣＰＭ非稳腔的输出性能进行实验比较。，     

眼球的自动定位

提出了一种由粗到细自动定位人脸的一个重要特征即眼球圆心的方法，该方法综合运用局部二值化，霍夫变换，像纱聚类，边缘提取等技术，对均匀或非均匀光照下拍摄或戴眼镜的照片都能获得很高的定位精度，适用于处理证件照。     

不完全信息下的最终报价仲裁

基于争议双地仲裁人的裁决值有不同的概率估计，而这些估计是双方共同知识这一前提分析最终报价中仲裁，把它构造成一个不完全信息的非零和对策模型。然后给出了局部、全局Ｎａｓｈ平衡报价策略存在唯一的充分条件，最后探讨了双方认识存在的差异对争议人报价行为的影响。
