在混凝土高拱坝浇筑过程中,影响坝体施工期温度场及温度应力的因素有很多,因此选用适当的浇筑方案对于节约工程成本及提高坝体安全性有着重要意义。以孟底沟水电站工程为例,选用多种施工方案,并利用三维有限元方法进行仿真分析,分析了浇筑季节、浇筑层厚、间歇时间及浇筑温度等因素对坝体施工期的敏感性。结果表明,低温季节浇筑、在防止热量倒灌的前提下尽量减小浇筑层厚度、缩短间歇时间、降低浇筑温度有助于降低温度应力,提高坝体安全性。  相似文献

This note details two comments on a recent policy proposal in Comello and Reichelstein (2014) aimed at favoring the early adoption of Carbon Capture (CC) technology in the next generation of thermal-based power plants to be installed in the United States. First, we examine the implications of a worst-case scenario in which no new CC is adopted internationally beyond what is in place in 2014. Second, we show the potential, under the original proposed subsidy, for the emergence of coordination failures capable of hampering the desired early CC deployment. We propose and evaluate modified schedules of tax-credits sufficient to overcome these concerns. These additions strengthen the argument in the original article: namely, though higher incentive levels are necessary, our findings confirm that the cost of the proposed policy is not out of reach.  相似文献

According to currently valid codes, it is not possible to determine the loadbearing capacity of unreinforced infill walls considering the deformation‐based membrane effect by incorporating the exact support conditions. One reason for this is the lack of a validated calculation procedure, which in addition to the equilibrium conditions also realistically represents the compatibility conditions of these systems. In the present paper, therefore, a new non‐linear analytical calculation procedure is presented. The main focus of the analysis of walls subject to area loading is the incorporation of the support conditions and thus the consideration of the deformation‐based membrane compressive force. Through generalised formulation and a standardised notation of the determination equations, different material behaviours and various support conditions can be taken into account with few parameters. On the action side, both lighter loading like wind loads and heavier loading like explosion loads can be considered. Through the implementation of the partial factor concept, it is possible to comply with the requirements of European codes and thus ensure the applicability of the analysis model.  相似文献

The progressive failure analysis (PFA) and digital image correlation (DIC) method were used to study the strain distribution and failure evolution of C/SiC composites with a circular hole under tension. The nonlinear constitutive relation based continuous degradation strategy (NCRCDS) was combined with the PFA and compared with the sudden material property degradation strategy (SMPDS). The maximum strain criterion was adopted in the PFA to model local failure. The initiation and evolution of local failure around the hole were studied by PFA and DIC method. The results indicate that the local failure distribution simulated by PFA was close to that of the DIC measurement. The strain field was relevant to the surface topography and the microstructure of the material, and the strain distribution around the hole was affected by the arrangement and the damage of the fiber bundle. The simulated results of the strain distribution were in good agreement with the DIC measurements.  相似文献

Monochlorobenzene and its para- or meta-substituted derivatives were irradiated with -γ-rays in methanol, ethanol and n-propanol containing nitrous oxide to elucidate the reactivities of these organic solutes toward solvated electrons, and also the effect of the substituent for the aromatic nucleus on the reactivities of these solutes. The value of G (N2) is seen to decrease with increasing concentration of the organic solute. Relative rate constants of these organic solutes toward solvated electrons have been determined from the competition with nitrous oxide by observing the G(N2) in there systems. Based on the results, the rate constants of the reactions of these derivatives of monochlorobenzene with solvated electrons relative to monochlorobenzene can be related to Hammett's σ function. The ρ value has been observed to be 3.3, 2.1 and 1.8 for methanol, ethanol and n-propanol respectively. The present data, together with that by Sherman(1) for 2-propanol, indicates that the ρ value is correlated linearly to the dielectric constant of the solvent. Some discussions are presented on the results thus obtained.  相似文献

System performance measures of a repairable system are studied from a Bayesian viewpoint with different types of priors assumed for unknown parameters, in which the system consists of two active components and one warm standby. There is a failure probability q that switches from standby state to active state. Time-to-failure of components is assumed to be an exponential distribution. The reboot time and repair time are also exponential distributions. When time-to-failure, time-to-repair and reboot time are with uncertain parameters, a Bayesian assessing is adopted to evaluate system performance measures. Monte Carlo simulation is used to derive the posterior distribution for the steady-state availability and the mean time-to-system failure. Some numerical experiments are performed to illustrate the results derived in this article.  相似文献

In the CABRI-FAST experimental program, four in-pile tests were performed with slow-power-ramptype transient-overpower conditions (called hereafter as “slow TOP”) to study transient fuel pin behavior under inadvertent control-rod-withdrawal-type events in liquid-metal-cooled fast breeder reactors. The slow TOP test with a preirradiated solid-pellet fuel pin under a power ramp rate of approximately 3%Po/s was realized as a comparatory test against an existing test in the CABRI-2 program where approximately 1%Po/s was adopted with the same type of fuel pin. In spite of the different power ramp rates, the evaluated fuel thermal conditions at the observed failure time are quite similar. Three slow TOP tests with the preirradiated annular fuel resulted in no pin failure showing a high failure threshold. Based on posttest examination data and a theoretical evaluation, it was concluded that intrapin free spaces, such as central hole, macroscopic cracks, and fuel-cladding gap, effectively mitigated the fuel cladding mechanical interaction. It was also clarified that cavity pressurization became effective only in the case of a very large amount of fuel melting. These CABRI-FAST slow TOP tests, in combination with the existing CABRI and TREAT tests, provided an extended slow TOP test database under various fuel and transient conditions.  相似文献

The Fukushima nuclear accident raised the importance of flooding study in nuclear reactor buildings. It is known that the external flooding can be attributed to natural causes, while the internal flooding is caused by the piping ruptures, tank failure or the actuation of fire suppression systems. The building flooding process can damage the safety-related components and systems, which needs to study carefully. In order to simulate this phenomenon which is accompanied by complex flow with free surface, a particle method based on Lagrangian approach named explicit moving particle simulation (EMPS) method, is employed in this analysis. Verification and validation analyses are carried out. The verification problems are a hydrostatic analysis and a water spreading to investigate the differences of the particle wall and polygon wall boundary models, while the validation studies of two experiments of dam-break induced flooding show good agreements. Afterwards, the internal flooding process in AP1000 is simulated by assuming a break of the in-containment refueling water storage tank as an example. The results achieved so far indicate that the EMPS method is capable to simulate the internal flooding process in the nuclear reactor buildings.  相似文献

This paper has four objectives. Firstly, modifications are recommended and presented to a well known set of US Army test data representing eleven tests that involve destruction of buried concrete box structures by ground transmitted shock waves. The resultant database is available for failure mode analysis. Secondly, a new approach forfailure mode analysis based on pattern recognition techniques to the structural engineering community is introduced. Thirdly, a comparison is presented of the results of preprocessing, feature extraction, and cluster analysis for failure modes to several previous studies. The objective here is to inform the structural engineering community about data interpretations that can be inferred using this approach; the authors do not claim to have a conclusive or definitive classification of failure modes in these data. Finally, the importance of a priori decisions about data analysis during the planning stages of physical experiments is emphasized by pointing out the many statistical and other uncertainities that are associated with the data being discussed.  相似文献

An earthquake occurred on 23 October 2011, at approximately 20 km north of city of Van downtown, west of Ercek Lake, in the vicinity of Kasimoglu Village with a moment magnitude of Mw = 7.2. While aftershock activities of this earthquake continues intensively, another earthquake with local magnitude Mw = 5.6 occurred, on 9 November 2011, at approximately 10 km south of Van downtown, in county of Edremit region. By this second earthquake, property damage and life loss count significantly increased. In this paper, failures of damaged structures at Van earthquake are examined. Also negative effects of structural irregularities (short column, soft story, torsion), structural material (concrete, steel), soil properties (liquefaction, sliding), structural systems (reinforced concrete, prefabricated, masonry and adobe) and structure type (bridge, culvert, minaret) are studied.  相似文献
