The mechanical properties of a medium molecular weight polyethylene (MMW‐PE) and an ultrahigh molecular weight PE (UHMW‐PE) binary mixture with different weight fractions crystallized from the melt at 0.1 and 450 MPa were studied. The tensile modulus, yield stress, and strain were obtained as a function of the weight fractions in the PE mixtures at 25 and 85°C. The tensile modulus in the sample crystallized at 0.1 MPa decreased from 1.5 GPa of pure MMW‐PE to about 0.4 GPa of pure UHMW‐PE with the UHMW‐PE content but it did not decrease with the UHMW‐PE in the sample crystallized at 450 MPa in testing at 25°C. A decreasing rate of the storage modulus E′ of UHMW‐PE in a dynamic measurement for the sample crystallized at 0.1 MPa with the temperature is larger than that of the sample crystallized at 450 MPa. 将一种广泛用于求解系统优化问题的方法——正单纯形法,求解光栅的椭偏方程。首先,利用求解光栅的傅立叶模式理论对TE和TM波的复反射系数进行求解。然后计算出其相应的椭偏参数(△,Ψ),并在该值的基础上加入不同偏差的随机高斯噪声,将加入噪声后的值(△m,Ψm)作为模拟测量值。最后使用优化算法进行反演。通过对几种常用面形光栅椭偏参数的数值模拟,一方面表明傅立叶模式理论计算光栅的椭偏参数不仅精度高。而且速度快;另一方面表明利用正单纯形法得到的光栅参数值很接近于正演时假设的参数值,从而从理论上证明了利用椭偏法测量光栅各种光学参数的可行性。 相似文献

In this paper, the moving least-squares differential quadrature (MLSDQ) method is employed for free vibration of thick antisymmetric laminates based on the first-order shear deformation theory. The generalized displacements of the laminates are independently approximated with the centered moving least-squares (MLS) technique within each domain of influence. The MLS nodal shape functions and their partial derivatives are computed quickly through back-substitutions after only one LU decomposition. Subsequently, the weighting coefficients in the MLSDQ discretization are determined with the nodal partial derivatives of the MLS shape functions. The MLSDQ method combines the merits of both the differential quadrature and meshless methods which can be conveniently applied to complex domains and irregular discretizations without loss of implementation efficiency and numerical accuracy. The natural frequencies of the laminates with various edge conditions, ply angles, and shapes are calculated and compared with the existing solutions to study the numerical accuracy and stability of the MLSDQ method. Effects of support size, order of completeness of basis functions, and node irregularity on the numerical accuracy are investigated in detail. 相似文献

The problem of operating freeze drying of pharmaceutical products in vials placed in trays of a freeze dryer to remove free water (in frozen state) at a minimum time was formulated as an optimal control problem. Two different types of freeze dryer designs were considered. In type I freeze dryer design, upper and lower plate temperatures were controlled together, while in type II freeze dryer design, upper and lower plate temperatures were controlled independently. The heat input to the material being dried and the drying chamber pressure were considered as control variables. Constraints were placed on the system state variables by the melting and scorch temperatures during primary drying stage. Necessary conditions of optimality for the primary drying stage of freeze drying process in vials are derived and presented. Furthermore, an approach for constructing the optimal control policies that would minimize the drying time for the primary drying stage was given. In order to analyze optimal control policy for the primary drying stage of the freeze-drying process in vials, a rigorous multi-dimensional unsteady state mathematical model was used. The theoretical approach presented in this work was applied in the freeze drying of skim milk. Significant reductions in the drying times of primary drying stage of freeze drying process in vials were obtained, as compared to the drying times obtained from conventional operational policies. 相似文献

Recently several generalizations to higher dimension of the Fourier transform using Clifford algebra have been introduced,
including the Clifford-Fourier transform by the authors, defined as an operator exponential with a Clifford algebra-valued
kernel.
In this paper an overview is given of all these generalizations and an in depth study of the two-dimensional Clifford-Fourier
transform of the authors is presented. In this special two-dimensional case a closed form for the integral kernel may be obtained,
leading to further properties, both in the L
1 and in the L
2 context. Furthermore, based on this Clifford-Fourier transform Clifford-Gabor filters are introduced.

Fourier transforms, orthogonal polynomials and multi-dimensional wavelets.
Frank Sommen received a diploma degree in mathematics from Ghent University, Belgium, in 1978, a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the
same university in 1980, and a habilitation degree in mathematical analysis in 1984. From 1978 until 1999 he was at the National
Fund for Scientific Research (Flanders). Since 2000 he holds a Research professorship at Ghent University. His main interests
