Instability of zeolite Y supported cobalt sulfide hydrotreating catalysts in the absence of H2S

Ion exchanged CoNaY was sulfided at 473 and 673 K and subsequently heated in He at 673 and 773 K. The resulting samples were characterized by means of overall sulfur analysis, temperature programmed Ar treatment and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. It was shown that during He flushing at sufficiently high temperature a protolysis reaction occurs resulting in the decomposition of Co sulfide into Co²⁺ ions and H₂S.     

Thermomechanical stress fields in high-temperature fibrous composites. I: Unidirectional laminates

This two-part paper presents a closed-form procedure for evaluation of estimates of local thermomechanical stress fields in two-phase fibrous composites and laminates. The first part is concerned with a unidirectional elastic laminate subjected to uniform mechanical loads and to uniform changes in temperature. Both phases are assumed to be elastic, with temperature-dependent moduli and expansion coefficients; the solution reflects the influence of thermomechanical interactions. Exact solutions are not possible for any real system, because the local geometry is not known in detail. Instead, estimates of the fields are found from a modified Mori-Tanaka approximation. Examples are presented for two SiC/Ti---Al---Nb composites. Local stresses of interest are found after cooling from fabrication to room temperature. The presence of local yielding, and the influence of coupling terms on the local stress magnitudes are examined. 岩石龟裂系数法在火山岩裂缝储集层预测中的应用

 本文针对辽河东部凹陷油燕沟中生界火山岩的具体特征，采用纵波波速的比值——“龟裂系数”裂缝分析法［1,2,3］，研究了火山岩裂隙发育程度。综合龟裂系数裂缝分析及其他方法发现，该区中生界火山岩有效储集层的测井相特征主要表现为低密度、低中子、高声波时差和高伽马值等特征。此法的关键在于根据不同火山岩的岩性，选用合适的岩石骨架参数，在此基础上利用测井约束地震反演计算火山岩的层速度，进而计算出龟裂系数，然后根据已钻至火山岩井孔的测井相特征编制出火山岩预测厚度图。     

Synthesis, structure and fluorescence properties of a highly stable indium(III)-2,5-pyridinedicarboxylate coordination polymer

The hydrothermal reaction of 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (H₂PDC), diethylene triamine and In(NO₃)₃·4.5H₂O gave rise to a two-dimensional (2D) coordination polymer In(OH)(2,5-PDC). This compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Iba2, with cell parameters, a = 12.656(3) Å, b = 20.114(4) Å, c = 6.2216(1) Å, V = 1583.9(5) Å³ and Z = 8. Its structure contains one-dimensional In–O–In–O– chains, which are further linked by 2,5-PDC ligands into a 2D supramolecular neutral framework. The adjacent 2D layers are parallel with each other and construct a three-dimensional framework via hydrogen bands. At room temperature, the compound exhibits intense photoluminescence. On the basis of the results of TG/DTA analyses, the structure is thermally stable up to 390 °C.

Uncertainty Matters: Computer Models at the Science–Policy Interface

The use of computer models offers a general and flexible framework that can help to deal with some of the complexities and difficulties associated with the development of water management plans as prescribed by the Water Framework Directive. However, despite the advantages modelling presents, the integration of information derived from models into policy is far away from being trivial or the norm. Part of the difficulties of this integration is rooted in the lack of confidence policy makers have on the incorporation of modelling information into policy formulation. In this paper we examine the reasons for this apparent lack of confidence and explore how some tools, presently in use, address this problem. We conclude that public confidence in models is highly dependent on the way uncertainties are addressed and suggest possible directions of action to improve the current situation. Four real case studies illustrate how computer models have been used in The Netherlands for carrying out management plans at regional and national scale. We suggest that the solution to integrate modelling information into policy formulation lies on both the modelling and the policy-making communities.     

在线安全预警和决策支持系统的软件构架与实现

安全预警和决策支持（EWSC）系统作为未来控制中心自动化系统的重要功能，一方面需要对能量管理系统（EMS）成熟功能进行封装，另一方面需要适应自动化系统功能演变的需要。提出了一种基于多代理系统（MAS）的软件开发范式，用于开发EWSC系统的软件构架。该系统具有一个松散、开放的可插入式结构。其中核心框架是负责系统通信和任务调度的协调层，是相对固定的;其余部分为独立模块，由一系列相对独立的决策分析和人机表达智能体组成，可以独立开发，方便地嵌入系统。在该框架下系统各个模块层次分明，具有很强的解耦性，并且可以实现把历史遗留系统集成到新的环境中。基于文中所提出的软件构架的在线EWSC系统已在某省级电网投运。
