Mining association rules between positive word-of-mouth on social network sites and consumer acceptance: A study for derivative product of animations,comics, and games

In recent years, we can easily observe that animations, comics, and games (ACG) have great output value and market influence on the entertainment and digit media market. The ACG industry is not an industry of a single country or region but a global industry. In addition to its own revenue, the derivative products (or licensed merchandise) of ACG can extend the ACG industry to win more business opportunities. The ACG industry is mainly marketed towards younger people, who are the major users of social network sites. Hence, the electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) on social network sites often becomes a reference basis of the young people’s attitudinal acceptance and purchase intention in purchasing ACG-related derivative product.In this paper, we analyze the influential factors of positive eWOM’s communication motivations that affect consumer acceptance on social network sites, and apply the uncomplicated decision tree data mining algorithm to compute the association rules between these influential factors and consumer acceptance, expecting to understand the relationship between eWOM on social network sites and consumer acceptance. The results of this study can help the business decision-making in CRM and marketing of the industry of ACG-related derivative product. This study found that the degree of perception of ACG product and the degree of taking pleasure in sharing ACG-related information with others have a significant correlation with consumer acceptance.

Some reliability aspects in structural control

The reliability aspects associated with the system made of an actively controlled structure and its control devices are discussed. Standard tools of system reliability analysis turns out to be a convenient approach to the problem. The operation scenario however is preliminarily required and some redundancy solutions are discussed in this article.     

Hydrologic thresholds for riparian forest conservation in a regulated large Mediterranean river

Most riparian trees are phreatophytic, water table‐dependent plants which broadly differ in their tolerance to drought and permanent flooding. In semi‐arid settings, as water is limiting, inundations may be regarded as inputs rather than stresses for the survival of phreatophytes. In this study, the mortality rates and abundances of Populus alba, P. nigra, Salix alba and local Tamarix spp. were examined in 43 plots with different hydrologic conditions distributed across the floodplain of a large semi‐arid and Mediterranean river, the Ebro River (Spain). The objectives were to determine hydrologic thresholds for the maintenance of declining populations of those species, while providing novel information on their phreatophytic nature, and to examine shifts in the species composition along hydrologic gradients. All species exhibited significant relationships between mortality rates and hydrologic variables (deepest water table—WT, flood duration—FD and flood frequency—FF). S. alba was found to be the species with lowest tolerance to drier conditions (hydrologic thresholds for maintaining a mortality rate <50%: WT > ?1.22 m; FD: out of observation range; FF > 5.4 events y^?1), followed by P. nigra (WT > ?2.18 m; FD > 11.1%; FF > 3.8 events y^?1), Tamarix spp. (WT > ?2.96 m; FD > 3.7%; FF > 2.5 events y^?1) and P. alba (WT > ?3.45 m; FD > 1.7%; FF > 2.0 events y^?1). Only a significant reduction in S. alba relative abundance was observed as conditions got drier. The results provided quantitative information useful to guide management plans for the protection of Mediterranean phreatophytic tree species from further degradation and suggested that eventual natural or regulation‐induced droughts and groundwater declines would accelerate the loss of all phreatophytic species, especially S. alba. 一种新的无网格拆线重布算法

结合无网格布线的特点,提出一种新的无网格拆线重布算法.该算法显式地表示并动态更新线网所属区域的拥挤程度.在拆线重布进行待布线网的路径搜索时,每个扩展节点中增加拆除线网周边的拥挤权重,从而将待布线网的路径搜索过程和拆除线网的选择过程统一起来,有效地提高了被拆除线网重新布通的可能性.该算法利用改进的二叉区间树有效组织中间数据,降低计算的复杂度.实验结果表明,该算法能有效消除布线顺序对布线结果的影响,提高布通率,且算法运行速度较快.     

Q-shift复小波的一种新型构造方法及其在图像去噪中的应用

为了提高复小波变换的效率,本文提出了一种设计Q-shift复小波滤波器的新方法。与目前采用多相位矩阵的晶格分解结构得到正交小波的方法不同的是,这里从更为一般的完全重构滤波器组出发寻求满足特定要求的正交小波。不但可以构造出系数更为简单、运算更加方便的小波,而且可以实现任意精度的复小波变换。该方法的可拓展性好,可以很方便的添加如高阶消失矩等限制并简化设计过程。以普遍采用的Q-shift10/10小波为例,利用本文构造的正交小波可将复小波变换中的乘法运算降低到原来的1/3,而加法基本相当,且小波的频率选择性质更好。将其用于图像去噪的实验表明,采用本文构造的小波可以显著提高处理速度并得到更高的峰值信噪比(PSNR)。     

Reliability qualification of semiconductor devices based on physics‐of‐failure and risk and opportunity assessment

Qualification frequently is a time‐critical activity at the end of a development project. As time‐to‐market is a competitive issue, the most efficient qualification efforts are of interest. A concept is outlined, which proactively integrates qualification into the development process and provides a systematic procedure as a support tool to development and gives early focus on required activities. It converts requirements for a product into measures of development and qualification in combination with a risk and opportunity assessment step and accompanies the development process as a guiding and recording tool for advanced quality planning and confirmation. The collected data enlarge the knowledge database for DFR/BIR (designing for reliability/building‐in reliability) to be used for future projects. The procedure challenges and promotes teamwork of all the disciplines involved. Based on the physics‐of‐failure concept the reliability qualification methodology is re‐arranged with regard to the relationships between design, technology, manufacturing and the different product life phases at use conditions. It makes use of the physics‐of‐failure concept by considering the potential individual failure mechanisms and relates most of the reliability aspects to the technology rather than to the individual product design. Evaluation of complex products using common reliability models and the definition of sample sizes with respect to systematic inherent product properties and fractions of defects are discussed.
