非AWGN环境下调制类型自动识别

在非AWGN环境下，针对CW，AM，FM，OOK，PSK，QPSK，16QAM，FSK，MSK，SSB十种混合调制信号，对调制类型特征提取方法和自动识别算法进行了分析、综合、设计和计算机仿真。提出了梯层电平分析方法、频率瞬时信号分析、剔除载波的归一化能量分析、平方后信号的频谱分析、四次方后的信号频谱分析等方法。当SNR=10dB时，计算机仿真结果是正确识别率不低于95％，自动识别的平均处理时间为不超过10s。     

Does a regional accent perturb speech processing?

The processing costs involved in regional accent normalization were evaluated by measuring differences in lexical decision latencies for targets placed at the end of sentences with different French regional accents. Over a series of 6 experiments, the authors examined the time course of comprehension disruption by manipulating the duration and presentation conditions of accented speech. Taken together, the findings of these experiments indicate that regional accent normalization involves a short-term adjustment mechanism that develops as a certain amount of accented signal is available, resulting in a temporary perturbation in speech processing. Conditions for the Acceptance of Deontic Conditionals.

Recent psychological research has investigated how people assess the probability of an indicative conditional. Most people give the conditional probability of q given p as the probability of if p then q. Asking about the probability of an indicative conditional, one is in effect asking about its acceptability. But on what basis are deontic conditionals judged to be acceptable or unacceptable? Using a decision theoretic analysis, we argue that a deontic conditional, of the form if p then must q or if p then may q, will be judged acceptable to the extent that the p & q possibility is preferred to the p & not-q possibility. Two experiments are reported in which this prediction was upheld. There was also evidence that the pragmatic suitability of permission rules is partly determined by evaluations of the not-p & q possibility. The Research of ST-OFDM in Physical Layer of IEEE 802.16a

This paper briefly introduces one of the three physical layer implementations of IEEE 802.16a~[1],WirelessMAN-OFDM PHY.Based on the implementation,the combination of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)and Space-Time Coding(STC)which is briefly called ST-OFDM in IEEE 802.16a,is investigated under thechannel provided in Ref.[2].Especially,this paper is focused on the influence of the optimal decision threshold on the sys-tern Bit-Error-Rate(BER)performance based on unequal probabilities of sources.The simulations show that when Signal-Noise-Ratio(SNR)is low the optimal decision threshold is obviously superior to the usual one;when SNR is high to someextent,such as 10 dB for 4QAM and 16 dB for 16QAM,we can use the usual decision threshold instead of the optimal

Deviance regulation: A theory of action and identity.

The authors propose a behavioral decision theory relevant to the maintenance of desirable identities. The theory, termed deviance regulation theory (DRT), predicts that actions translate into meaningful identities to the extent that they cause the individual to deviate from reference group norms. This straightforward proposition is used to predict the patterning of behavior across a wide array of social contexts. The authors present evidence that predictions generalize across Eastern and Western cultures and to both personal and collective identities. Finally, they show how DRT alters current theoretical assumptions about social motives and social and cultural influence, and they illustrate how it can help explain the structure of both informal and formal social forces.
