Yield stress measurements of gas/liquid/fibre suspensions, were conducted to examine the effect of gas concentration as well as fibre concentration. Obtaining a well mixed stable pulp suspension with gas was difficult. A transparent model system consisting of glass fibres submersed in refractive index matched liquid gave stable suspensions and had the additional advantage of allowing visual observations. The measurements were performed in a baffled shear tester and concentrations were in the range of 0–12.5% vol. gas and 8–14% wt. fibres. Results show that yield stress decreases with increasing gas fraction for constant fibre concentrations. Since the fibre concentration is defined in the liquid phase, the amount of fibres decreases with increasing gas concentration. This fact alone partly explains the decrease in yield stress, but the gas also has a direct impact on the decrease in yield stress. Further, as expected, the yield stress increases with increasing fibre concentrations when the gas fraction is kept constant.  相似文献

Effects of N application and water supply on yield, oil content and N accumulation by canola, cultivar Marnoo, grown on a heavy clay soil in the Goulburn Murray Irrigation Region were investigated. Treatments were rainfed (Rf) or watered at a deficit of 50 mm (40–60 mm, I50) beginning in the spring. N treatments were 0, 50, 100 or 200 kg N ha–1 at sowing or as split applications of 20/80, and 50/50 kg N ha–1 at sowing and rosette, respectively.Yield (Yg) ranged from 170 to 520 g m–2. Irrigation and N increased yield in both years. Grain yields were increased by N application on the irrigated treatments when 100 or 200 kg N ha–1 was applied. Oil concentrations ranged from a maximum of 46.4% in treatment N0 to a minimum of 40.6% in treatment N200 and was inversely related to seed N concentration. Although fertilizer N decreased oil concentration, it increased the yield of oil.Nitrogen accumulation (Nb) limited yield of all treatments and was described by the equation, Yg = 806[1-EXP(–0.039*Nb)]. This implied a decrease in yield per unit of Nb at the higher rates of fertilizer addition with consequent increases in grain N concentration.The efficiency of water use in the production of grain (WUEg) and biomass (WUEb) were 7.5 and 23 kg ha–1 mm–1 respectively. Nitrogen additions increased WUEg and WUEb in both seasons. Maximum values of 8.9 (WUEg 1986) and 26.8 (WUEb 1987) were measured from treatment N200. These data suggest that the crops made efficient use of the applied water.  相似文献

受全球气候变暖的影响,“中华水塔”地区正面临着以“变暖变湿”为主的气候变化。受气候及下垫面条件的综合影响,区域水资源显著增加,各流域产流机理在空间上呈现出明显的地区差异特征。基于“中华水塔”区域1956—2020年水文气象资料,通过趋势、突变、距平等分析方法,分析其水文要素和产流规律的变化趋势、特征及相互之间影响关系。结果表明:近年来“中华水塔”区域气温显著升高,蒸发能力总体增强,区域进入丰水期,降水、径流显著增加,在同等降水径流尺度下,黄河源区产流能力有所降低,长江、澜沧江源区产流能力明显增强;气温升高、降水量持续偏丰以及流域前期影响雨量(蓄水量)增加、枯季径流比例提高、下垫面生态持水能力增强是引起区域产流规律变化、水资源量增加的主要原因。  相似文献

制备了 3种具有不同直径、相同长径比及其分布的涤纶短纤维增强氯丁橡胶基复合材料。对屈服强度及伸长率、断裂强度及伸长率以及撕裂强度等力学性能的研究发现 :在相同长径比及其分布情况下 ,与传统混合法则不同的是屈服强度和伸长率不相等 ,也不是只取决于短纤维的直径 ,而是受直径和长度的共同作用 ;在相同的纤维体积分数时 ,复合材料的断裂强度基本相同 ,而断裂形变和撕裂强度随纤维直径的减小而增大  相似文献

Six phosphate rocks (PRs) of varying reactivities were compared with monocalcium phosphate (MCP) in a glasshouse experiment growing perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne cv. Nui) as the test plant on four soils of contrasting P sorption capacity and exchangeable Ca. The cumulative dry matter yield over 10 harvests showed a significant response to P application in all soils. Based on relative yield and P uptake, MCP was the most effective P fertilizer followed by the reactive phosphate rocks, which were superior to the unreactive rocks in all soils. The relative agronomic effectiveness (RAE) and substitution ratio (SR) of individual PR fertilizers, calculated with respect to MCP using the methods of vertical and horizontal comparison, respectively, were similar over a range of fertilizer rate. There was a decline or slight increase in the performance of PRs with time in the low P sorption soils but a consistent increase in the high P sorption soils. Some initial influence of exchangeable Ca content of the soils on the relative performance of PRs was also observed. Generally the PRs performed better in high P sorption soils than low P sorption soils and in low exchangeable Ca soils than high exchangeable Ca soils.  相似文献

Germplasm with shorter duration than that of the currently grown varieties is being generated to maximize productivity of irrigated rice. However, short-duration varieties often produce yields lower than the medium- and long-duration varieties. Experiments were conducted during the 1980–82 dry and wet seasons to increase productivity through the use of very early-maturing rices and the improved management of nitrogen (N) fertilizers.Results over three years showed that IR58 and IR9729-67-3 (growth duration 100 ± 5 days) yield as well as or higher than IR36 although earlier maturing. They generally had a higher productivity (kg ha–1 day–1) than IR36 (110 ± 5 days).Three years' data suggest that the improved timing of broadcast applications of urea in split doses increased grain yield comparable with the basal incorporation of slow-release sulfur-coated urea (SCU) or deep point-placement of urea supergranules (USG).Results on elite breeding lines showed that the early-maturing IR9729-67-3 produced higher protein yield ha–1 than longer duration varieties such as IR8 and IR42 in the dry season. Furthermore, contrary to earlier results, single basal incorporation of slow-release SCU increased the protein yield of rice by 53 kg ha–1 and deep point-placement of USG by 43 kg ha–1 over split application of prilled urea.  相似文献

通过分析2016长江第1号洪水的水雨情发展、洪水组成、水情预报、调度还原计算成果等,解析了该场洪水的暴雨洪水特性、预报对调度的支撑作用以及三峡水库调度对城陵矶河段水位的影响。分析表明:金沙江、乌江来水对第1号洪水起筑底作用,三峡区间洪水则为该场洪水造峰,三者最大1d洪量占三峡入库来水比率分别达26.1%,15.6%,38.1%;第1号洪水期间,水情预报为调度决策提供了长预见期、较高精度的前提支撑,78,54,30,6 h预见期的三峡入库洪峰预报误差分别仅为-20.0%,-10.0%,-4.0%,0;三峡水库在第1号洪水期间通过防洪调度将入库洪峰流量削峰38%,最大拦蓄洪量约29亿m3,削减莲花塘站洪峰水位0.39 m左右,避免了城陵矶河段出现超保证水位。  相似文献
