Reports an error in "Recovery of spatial alternation deficits following selective hippocampal destruction with kainic acid" by J. Patrick Kesslak and Fred H. Gage (Behavioral Neuroscience, 1986[Apr], Vol 100[2], 280-283). In the aforementioned article, the degrees of freedom reported in the Results section are incorrect. In the sixth paragraph on page 281, the second sentence should read as follows: Results of the ANOVA indicated a significant effect for surgical treatments. F(2, 25)=25.44, p1986-21445-001.) Examined whether the sympathetic ingrowth of superior cervical ganglion (SCG) fibers sprouting into the hippocampus following kainic acid (KA) lesion of CA3 and CA4 pyramidal cells in male Sprague-Dawley rats would contribute to behavioral recovery. 31 Ss were trained on a forced-choice task. After reaching criterion performance levels, Ss received either KA (8 nM/0.4 μl) or saline injections into the hippocampus and were again tested on the forced-choice task. Half of the Ss had their SCG removed 35 days after injections, and all were again tested on the forced-choice task. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed Ss receiving KA took significantly longer to reach criterion following injections. Removal of the SCG after recovery reintroduced the performance deficit of KA-treated Ss on the alternation task; no other group showed any effect for SCG removal. Results indicate that the SCG may have a modulatory effect in behavioral recovery, although other mechanisms may also be operating. Using the photonic band gap in photonic crystals, the fundamental waveguide structures for the light wavelength range have been developed. Based on the fine structure of these many functional devices have been proposed by analytical or numerical simulation methods and the experiments of trial manufacture. In this paper, the treatment of chiral dielectric in the Condensed Node Spatial Network for the vector potential is explained, and we show the polarization plane rotation property in air‐hole and pillar type photonic crystal waveguide structures with the chiral medium substrate. Then, we show the fundamental advantage of the air‐hole type photonic crystal waveguide structure in application to a mode converter. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 目前,地基增强系统(Ground-Based Augment System,GBAS)中的主要问题是:尽管使用载波平滑降低了伪距噪,利用差分技术消除了用户和基准站间的大部分共同误差,从而减少了差分改正值中的误差。但是电离层时间梯度和空间梯度于这两个过程中产生了额外的误差,阻碍了差分改正值质量的进一步提高。基于对电离层时间和空间梯度引起的额外误差的分析,并考虑平滑伪距噪声,文章提出了一种新的Hatch滤波方法,该滤波器的时间常数是随卫星仰角、电离层时间和空间梯度以及用户与参考站之间的距离而实时变化的。该方法降低了差分改正值误差,提高了定位精度。并且通过差分定位仿真并对比传统的单频Hatch滤波方法,发现使用该方法后,减小了差分校正值的误差。  相似文献

基于RTlinux和AD2S80A的角位置测量系统,选用旋转变压器和感应同步器作为测量系统的传感器,利用AD2S80A轴角变换器将两种测量传感器输出的模拟信号转换为相应的数字信号。根据双通道测角系统粗精耦合的原理,在RTLinux嵌入式系统中对两种数字信号进行耦合处理,并对耦合后信号的进行补偿处理,实现角位置的高精度测量。检测数据表明,这种测量系统可以实现以内的测量精度。  相似文献

针对含有非平稳背景的复杂场景,提出一种基于空间混合高斯模型的实时目标检测方法.该方法以混合高斯模型作为颜色分布的统计框架,并在空间邻域中利用背景与前景隶属度之间的竞争确定像素的归属,提高了检测准确率;同时通过基于偏差均值的匹配判断和低权重模型的移除提升了混合高斯统计框架的性能,以实时地对运动目标进行准确的检测.实验结果表明,文中方法对非平稳背景有很好的适应能力,在检测准确率和运行效率上均优于其他检测方法.  相似文献

针对地下水功能评价中单独采用主观赋权法或客观赋权法存在的问题,结合二者的优点,采用基于主观赋权的层次分析法与客观赋权的熵权法相结合的级差最大化组合赋权法评价地下水功能,并通过计算不同赋权方法权重结果与平均值的相对偏差来衡量级差最大化组合赋权法的准确性。将该方法应用于伊犁河谷西北部平原区浅层地下水功能评价,评价结果基本符合评价区实际情况,验证了该评价方法在地下水功能评价中的可行性。  相似文献

The limited effect of current medications on neuropathic pain (NP) has initiated large efforts to develop effective treatments. Animal studies showed that glycine transporter (GlyT) inhibitors are promising analgesics in NP, though concerns regarding adverse effects were raised. We aimed to study NFPS and Org-25543, GlyT-1 and GlyT-2 inhibitors, respectively and their combination in rat mononeuropathic pain evoked by partial sciatic nerve ligation. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) glycine content was also determined by capillary electrophoresis. Subcutaneous (s.c.) 4 mg/kg NFPS or Org-25543 showed analgesia following acute administration (30–60 min). Small doses of each compound failed to produce antiallodynia up to 180 min after the acute administration. However, NFPS (1 mg/kg) produced antiallodynia after four days of treatment. Co-treatment with subanalgesic doses of NFPS (1 mg/kg) and Org-25543 (2 mg/kg) produced analgesia at 60 min and thereafter meanwhile increased significantly the CSF glycine content. This combination alleviated NP without affecting motor function. Test compounds failed to activate G-proteins in spinal cord. To the best of our knowledge for the first time we demonstrated augmented analgesia by combining GlyT-1 and 2 inhibitors. Increased CSF glycine content supports involvement of glycinergic system. Combining selective GlyT inhibitors or developing non-selective GlyT inhibitors might have therapeutic value in NP.  相似文献

Efficiently performing high-resolution direction of arrival (DOA) estimation under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions has always been a challenge task in the literatures. Obvi-ously, in order to address this problem, the key is how to mine or reveal as much DOA related in-formation as possible from the degraded array outputs. However, it is certain that there is no per-fect solution for low SNR DOA estimation designed in the way of winner-takes-all. Therefore, this paper proposes to explore in depth the complementary DOA related information that exists in spa-tial spectrums acquired by different basic DOA estimators. Specifically, these basic spatial spec-trums are employed as the input of multi-source information fusion model. And the multi-source in-formation fusion model is composed of three heterogeneous meta learning machines, namely neural networks (NN), support vector machine (SVM), and random forests (RF). The final meta-spec-trum can be obtained by performing a final decision-making method. Experimental results illus-trate that the proposed information fusion based DOA estimation method can really make full use of the complementary information in the spatial spectrums obtained by different basic DOA estim-ators. Even under low SNR conditions, promising DOA estimation performance can be achieved.  相似文献
