Changes in the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-7Si-(Fe) alloys by low temperature working have been investigated.
The size and shape of eutectic Si and intermetallic AlSiFe compound were controlled by the low temperature working process.
This process consisted of repeated cold working at 77 K and recovery treatment at 793 K. By applying this process to the Al-7Si-1Fe
alloy, the eutectic Si and acicular Fe compound(β-AlSiFe) phases were broken down to the size of 2-3 μm, with spherical shape.
The refined particles were uniformly distributed, and a fine microstructure was obtained. The strength and elongation of Al-7Si-1Fe
alloy increased as the temperature was lowered due to the microstructural refinement. This elongation was well reflected in

In this study, the effects of processing parameters on the mechanical properties of injection molded thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) foams are investigated. Closed cell TPO foams were prepared by injection molding process. The microstructure of these foamed samples was controlled by carefully altering the processing parameters on the injection molding machine. The foam morphologies were characterized in terms of skin thickness, surface roughness, and relative foam density. Tensile properties and impact resistance of various injection molded TPO samples were correlated with various foam morphologies. The findings show that the mechanical properties are significantly affected by foam morphologies. The experimental results obtained from this study can be used to predict the microstructure and mechanical properties of cellular injection molded TPO foams prepared with different processing parameters.

利用蓖麻油(CO)、甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)和丙烯酸-2-羟-3-氯丙酯(HCAA)等为原料,采用分步法制备出了蓖麻油聚氨酯-羟基丙烯酸酯互穿网络聚合物(CO-PU/HCAA IPN),利用红外光谱进行了结构表征并测定了CO-PU/HCAA IPN的力学性能.结果表明,在常温条件下,蓖麻油聚氨酯预聚体CO-PU能够与HCAA形成IPN;随着固化时间的延长,CO-PU/HCAA IPN的拉伸强度逐渐增大,8 d后达到最大值;随着CO-PU预聚体与HCAA双键摩尔比的增加,CO-PU/HCAA IPN的拉伸强度先增大后减小,在 6∶1时达到最大值;增加CO-PU预聚体中摩尔比nNCO/nOH,CO-PU/HCAA IPN的拉伸强度先增大后减小,在摩尔比2.5时达到最大值;BPO和DBTDL的质量分数分别为0.5%和0.2%时,CO-PU/HCAA IPN的拉伸强度最大. 相似文献

The effects of trace addition of Al2O3 nanoparticles (NPs) on thermal reliabilities of Sn-0.5Ag-0.7Cu/Cu solder joints were investigated. Experimental results showed that trace addition of Al2O3 NPs could increase the isotheraml aging (IA) and thermal cyclic (TC) lifetimes of Sn-0.5Ag-0.7Cu/Cu joint from 662 to 787 h, and from 1597 to 1824 cycles, respectively. Also, trace addition of Al2O3 NPs could slow down the shear force reduction of solder joint during thermal services, which was attributed to the pinning effect of Al2O3 NPs on hindering the growth of grains and interfacial intermetallic compounds (IMCs). Theoretically, the growth coefficients of interfacial IMCs in IA process were calculated to be decreased from 1.61×10-10 to 0.79×10-10 cm2/h in IA process, and from 0.92×10-10 to 0.53×10-10 cm2/h in TC process. This indicated that trace addition of Al2O3 NPs can improve both IA and TC reliabilities of Sn-0.5Ag- 0.7Cu/Cu joint, and a little more obvious in IA reliability. 相似文献

采用自制Ti-Zr-Cu-Ni-Sn钎料钎焊TA2钛合金,研究了不同Sn元素含量改性Ti-Zr-Cu-Ni钎料的熔化特性、微观组织及物相、润湿及熔蚀性、接头拉伸强度。研究表明,Sn含量增加,Ti-Zr-Cu-Ni-Sn钎料固、液相线温度基本升高,但温度差值基本变窄,可更好地抑制钎焊界面脆性化合物形成。Ti-Zr-Cu-Ni-5Sn钎料组织由Ti、Zr基体和晶体相构成,Sn倾向与Ti、Zr结合形成Ti2Sn3、Ti6Sn5、Zr5Sn3等低熔点共晶相。Sn≤1.5%时,随Sn含量增加,钎料对TA2钛合金的润湿性逐渐变差;继续增加Sn,钎料润湿性改善,添加5%Sn的钎料对基体润湿最佳。添加5%Sn并降低Cu、Ni总量的改性钎料对TA2钛合金熔蚀减弱。相同钎焊工艺下,添加5%Sn接头的强度和塑性均有提升。钎焊温度升高,Ti-Zr-Cu-Ni钎料产生更多强化物相,致接头强度大幅提升,而Ti-Zr-Cu-Ni-5Sn钎料产生的含Sn物相强化作用对接头强度提升有限;相... 相似文献

The mechanical performances such as tensile strength and blast property of metal lined SiC/SiC composite cladding tubes were investigated. Nb or Ta was selected as liner material, and the SiC/SiC composite layer was fabricated by winding and different precursor impregnation and pyrolysis (PIP) processes. The tensile strengths of different tube samples were measured at room temperature (RT) and 1200 °C, respectively. The blast property was investigated through the maximum water pressure of tubes. And the fracture microstructures were observed by SEM. The highest tensile strength at RT was 150.7 MPa. The blast strength was enhanced with the PIP process increasing from 1 to 4 cycles and the tube of 4 PIP cycles had the highest water pressure of 34.7 MPa. Compared with the metal tubes, the multi-layer structure improved tensile and blast properties significantly. The different processes such as PIP cycles and pyrolytic carbon (PyC) coating were important factors to enhance the mechanical performances of SiC/SiC-based tubes.
