Gas-Chromatographic Analyses of the Subcaudal Gland Secretion of the European Badger (Meles meles) Part I: Chemical Differences Related to Individual Parameters

In many species, chemical signals are important in the context of intraspecific communication. European badgers (Meles meles) use the secretion of their subcaudal gland to mark both the environment and conspecifics. In this paper, we investigated the chemical composition of subcaudal gland secretions and how it varies among individuals according to group membership, season, sex, age, body condition, and reproductive status. We analyzed 66 samples by gas chromatography using a mass-spectrometer as detector. We found 110 different components, of which 21 were present in every profile. The chemical composition of the secretions proved to be highly individual-specific, but no single peak was found to be typical for one of the investigated categories (season, sex, etc.). Analyses of the relative area (% area) that every peak contributed to the overall profile area showed that, in general, group members have more similar profiles than do badgers from different groups. Composition varied over seasons and between sexes and was influenced by age, body condition, and reproductive status. We, therefore, conclude that the secretion not only encodes group membership and individuality as previously assumed, but might also convey information about fitness-related parameters.     

Influence of the Metal Particle Size on the Crack Growth Resistance in Mullite–Molybdenum Composites

The R -curve for mullite–molybdenum (32 vol%) composites, which were obtained at 1650°C under reducing conditions with three different Mo average grain sizes (1.5, 3, and 9 μm), was estimated by the indentation-strength method and compared with that monolithic mullite obtained under similar conditions. The composites material exhibited rising R -curve behavior. The composite with larger grain size, however, displayed better damage tolerance and higher resistance to crack growth. Microscopic observation of the crack path revealed, in the composites, the systematic presence of dispersoids acting as bridging sites in the crack wake. Therefore, the increased fracture toughness of these ceramic-matrix composites with adherent ductile phase can be attributed to clamping forces applied by metal ligaments that bridge the crack faces behind the crack front. These clamping forces retard the crack from opening as an external stress is applied. It was inferred that this superior performance of the larger Mo particle size composite can be attributed mainly to more effective bridging of the metal grains. Because of this, a higher applied stress intensity will be required to propagate the crack tip. These results suggest that the rising R -curve should be proportional to the metal grain size, since the grain bridging area is proportional to the metal grain size.     

有机气体污染物对室内空气质量的影响初探

室内空气的品质已经越来越受到人们的关注,室内环境的污染物主要是是来源于建筑装饰材料,空肯,服装等生活用品与生活消费品,以及炊事,取暖,致冷空调和吸烟等产生的各种无机化合物和有机化合物,特别是甲醛、苯并[α]芘等严重影响人体健康。在分析了各种室内环境条件对室内空气品质的影响,提出了通过选用环保材料、“烘烤”加速污染物散发和通风换气、进行空气净化等措施来降低污染物浓度,提高室内空气质量。     

无患子表面活性物及其复配体系的性质研究

对天然植物原料无患子提取物中的表面活性物的性质（临界胶束浓度、表面张力和起泡性能）及其影响因素（温度、pH、水硬度和盐度等）进行了系统的研究，结果表明无患子表面活性物具有很低的cmc和γcmc，且在一定范围内受一些因素的影响也不大，是一种理想的香波原料；同时也研究了无患子活性物与其他温和型的阴离子表面活性剂的复配体系，表明具有明显的协同增效效果。     

从包涵体中纯化重组人幽门螺杆菌尿素酶B亚单位

目的 建立一种有效的方法，从包涵体中纯化重组人幽门螺杆菌尿素酶B亚单位（rUreB）。方法重组大肠杆菌发酵后，表达的rUreB包涵体经洗涤、变性、复性，采用Q Sepharose Performance阴离子交换层析和Pheny1 Sepharose High Performance疏水层析分离纯化。使用 SDS－PAGE和HPLC检测纯度，选用 ELISA和 Western－bloning对纯化蛋白的生物学活性进行鉴定。结果 rUreB包涵体经洗涤和溶解后，rUreB的纯度＞70％。包涵体溶解液经阴离子交换层析和疏水层析后纯度超过95％。rUreB纯品具有良好的生物学活性。结论 建立了从包涵体中获得高纯度的rUreB的工艺，为进一步的研究打下了基础。     

四种金属离子亲和层析纯化重组戊型肝炎病毒包涵体的效果比较

目的 选择固相金属亲和层析柱的金属离子,以优化分离纯化重组戊型肝炎病毒包涵体的条件。方法 在同一试验条件下用4种金属离子柱分离纯化目的蛋白。结果 包涵体经不同离子柱层析时目的蛋白的收获率、纯度、洗脱条件各异。结论 镍离子柱纯化效果最佳。     

硅灰石在高压电瓷中的应用研究

首次利用龙江县硅灰石研制出了高压电瓷 ,并测试了其晶相组成和性能。实验结果表明 :硅灰石可以用于生产高压电瓷 ,且硅灰石的加入量为 5 0 %左右时 ,高压电瓷的性能较佳     

外加剂对陶瓷釉面表面性质的影响研究

研究了不同外加剂对陶瓷釉面表面性质的影响。研究表明 ,外加剂的加入可改变陶瓷釉面的表面张力 ,即影响液体对陶瓷釉面的润湿性能。在所选择的外加剂中 ,降低陶瓷釉面表面张力最强的为PbO ,其合适的加入量为 1.5 %。     

不同泊松比复合材料的裂纹尖端应力场

具有平面负泊松比的碳纤维/环氧树脂非平衡复合材料层板具有很高的断裂韧性和缺口断裂强度。本文用复变函数一变分方法计算了负泊比材料的裂纹尖端应力场，并与常规的平衡复合材料进行了比较。本文重点研究了主应力方向与纤维夹角的关系。结果表明：负泊松比材料独特的裂纹尖端应力场有利于提高缺口断裂强度。     

CCFW的一种新型张力控制方法研究

通过一个实例介绍了计算机控制缠绕机（CCFW）的一种缠绕纤维的张力控制方法，着重分析了其技术要求与难点，并给出了最终的实现方法。这种方法对于造纸，纺织工业设备及其他缠绕设备的张力控制都极具参考价值。
