基于物联网的辐射源安全监管系统的设计与实现

辐射源具有强烈的社会敏感性,无论是丢弃还是泄漏,都会给人类社会和环境造成无法估量的损失和危害。为了使其能够进一步造福于人类社会,对辐射源进行规范使用,安全监管尤为重要。文章介绍了一套集辐射源剂量监测、RFID电子标签、GPS地球定位、位移检测、视频监控和管理为一体的安全监管物联网应用系统,以降低辐射源被盗的风险,准确高效地实现辐射源安全监管的目标。

中职计算机网络教学分析

在我国中等职业教育是职业教育体系中的重要的组成部分,目前的中职教育积极地进行教学改革.在中职计算机网络专业的学生技能水平和企业中的职员的计算机机能水平有着很大的差距,导致这种现象的主要原因是因为中职计算机网络专业的教学内容缺乏相关的专业知识,教学的体系也不够完善等.本文就对计算机网络教学中出现的问题进行分析和研究.     

RFID系统安全分析

无线射频识别（RFID）技术与条形码技术等识别技术相比,具有防水防磁、读取距离远、存储数据多、数据可加密等优点,目前已做广泛应用于交通、物流、医疗、食品安全等领域。但作为物联网重要的感知设备因其缺乏有效的安全机制影响到物联网的应用与推广。本文从物理安全、通信安全和信息安全三个角度分析RFID系统安全问题及其解决方法。

Use and non‐use of VDTs—organization of terminal work: Research findings from Swedish cross‐site studies in the field of office automation

A group of users in Copenhagen were asked to evaluate how important a number of user interface characteristics were for them. The results show high importance of efficient daily use and of possibilities for exploratory learning while tutorial materials were of less importance. Users also were asked to evaluate four usability aspects of a number of popular programs. Results show that the quality pleasant to work with has the largest impact on evaluations of overall user‐friendliness while users seem able to view usability independently from the number of features in an application.     

Business Intelligence Acceptance: The Prominence of Organizational Factors

The specifics of business intelligence systems compared to operational IS motivate the necessity to research the business intelligence systems acceptance determinants separately. The authors followed an exploratory approach in order to conceptualize a business intelligence acceptance model. Their findings show that in the Business Intelligence Systems context, there is a significant emphasis on organizational factors, such as result demonstrability, social influence, and facilitating conditions with sufficient resources that help build an adequate information culture all substantially influencing the effective acceptance of business intelligence systems.     

Verification of Knowledge Assets in Electronic Repositories: Expert- and Community-Governance

Two mechanisms that verify knowledge contributions in electronic repositories are expert-governance and community-governance. Our goal is to examine repository users' perceptions of the conditions under which these mechanisms verify knowledge contributions. Qualitative data show that perceived credibility of experts, perceived ownership of content, and experts' (meticulous) execution of governance functions are salient for expert-governance, and the perceived involvement of community members, and community members' (continuous and collective) execution of governance functions are important for community-governance.     

A note on semidefinite relaxation for 0-1 quadratic knapsack problems

We investigate in this note solution properties of semidefinite programming (SDP) relaxation for 0-1 quadratic knapsack problem (QKP). In particular, we focus on the issue of uniqueness of the optimal solution to the SDP relaxation for QKP. We first give a counterexample which shows that the optimal solution to the SDP relaxation for QKP could be non-unique. This is in contrast with the case of unconstrained 0-1 quadratic problems. A necessary and sufficient condition is then derived to ensure the uniqueness of the optimal solution to the SDP relaxation for QKP.     

Federated Searching

ABSTRACT

With an increasing number of libraries implementing federated searching to help users negotiate the complex electronic database environment, it is important to note how users are being instructed to use these resources. This article presents the results of examinations of the Web sites of Association of Research Libraries (ARL) member institutions that currently use federated search products. It analyzes help guides and search tips related to federated searching to determine what concepts are being explained to users and how the information is being communicated. The result of the evaluation of these Web sites is a list of “best practice” guidelines that may be used by librarians creating their own federated searching guides. doi:10.1300/J136v12n03_03
