Study on calculation method of surface subsidence about the dewatering concretion of clay influenced by mining

Under the condition of thick alluvia, there is biggish declination in predicting the coal mining subsidence by commonly strip design method compared with the practical observation, the sinkage is much smaller. Based on the method of the probability integral about coal mining subsidence calculation, discussed the surface subsidence calculation and deduced the formulas caused by the clay with dewatering. The results show that the clay dewatering has great impact on surface subsidence. Therefore, the clay dewatering on surface subsidence should not be overlooked.

To get precise material data for advanced numerical modelling of tube hydroforming process, the tube bulging test is recommended. A perturbation method for guiding center orbit following calculations in the presence of Coulomb collisions

An orbit following guiding center Monte Carlo calculation is presented which employs a general flux coordinate system in an axisymmetric plasma equilibrium. The calculation incorporates collision effects. Furthermore, a perturbation expansion is applied for the guiding center calculations in the presence of a frictional source.     

The effect of ionic liquids with imidazolium and pyridinium cations on the corrosion inhibition of mild steel in acidic environment

Ionic liquids with chemical formula 1,3-dioctadecylimidazolium bromide and N-Octadecylpyridinium bromide were synthesized by conventional and microwave-assisted reactions, respectively. Ionic liquids tested as corrosion inhibitors after polarization curves displayed corrosion protection efficiency within 82-88% at 100 ppm for mild steel in a 1 M aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. Standard free energy indicated that corrosion inhibition occurred by a chemical adsorption process. Surface analysis (SEM, EDX) completed by XRD and Mössbauer spectroscopy indicated the presence of carbon species pertaining to inhibitor and corrosion products, which was rationalized in an inhibition mechanism.     

High‐temperature oxidation behaviour of model Co?Re?Cr alloys at low oxygen partial pressure

The oxidation behaviour of four model Co? Re? Cr alloys and a commercial Co‐based alloy was investigated at 1000 °C and a low‐oxygen partial pressure of p(O₂) = 10^?16 bar, in order to prove the feasibility of a pre‐oxidation treatment. Under suitable conditions of the pre‐oxidation treatment, the oxidation of the highly reactive alloying element Cr is possible. All the studied alloys form a continuous and dense Cr₂O₃ scale on the metal surface. The transport of chromium to the surface occurs mainly from the Cr‐rich σ‐phase, which becomes completely dissolved in the surrounding matrix after long exposure times. As a result of the Cr₂O₃ scale, growth depletion of Cr occurs in the near surface region, leading to internal oxidation.
