The hydrogenation of aromatics, i.e. benzene, toluene, -methylstyrene, anisole, and ethyl benzoate, can be carried out under a very low (1/12000) catalyst to substrate ratio, and mild reaction conditions (80°C, 6 atm of H2O), on Rh and Ni organometallic complexes anchored on USY zeolites. A strong cooperative effect between the faujasite surface and the transition metal surface complex is thought to be responsible for the simultaneous enhancement of concentrations of arene and H2 in the neighborhood of the catalytic centers, and for the observed electronic effects. 相似文献

The kinetics of disproportionation of methylamine to dimethylamine and ammonia in the presence of hydrogen have been investigated over a silica-supported palladium catalyst. At a fixed partial pressure of methylamine, the reaction rate generally increases with decreasing hydrogen partial pressure, approaching a limiting or maximum value at sufficiently low pressures of hydrogen. The existence of a maximum is supported by the observation that the presence of some hydrogen appears to be necessary for the reaction to proceed at a conveniently measurable rate. At a fixed hydrogen partial pressure, the reaction rate increases with increasing methylamine partial pressure. When the methylamine partial pressure is sufficiently low or the hydrogen partial pressure is sufficiently high, the reaction order with respect to methylamine can be somewhat higher than one. At such conditions, a mechanism involving a bimolecular reaction between two partially dehydrogenated methylamine molecules on the surface appears to make a significant contribution to the overall catalytic reaction. 相似文献

The reduction of NO
x
with propene or propane in the presence of 1 or 4% O2 was studied at low conversions over a 7.4 wt% Cu-ZrO2 and a 3.2 wt% Cu-ZSM-5 catalyst. The rates of N2 production were compared in experiments using only NO or a mixture of NO and NO2 in the feed. They were also compared with the rates of NO2 reduction to NO under the same conditions, and of NO oxidation to NO2 in the absence of hydrocarbon. It was found that the reduction of NO2 to NO was very fast, consistent with literature data. The data were best explained by a reaction scheme in which the hydrocarbon was activated primarily by reaction with adsorbed NO2 to form an adsorbed oxidized N-containing hydrocarbon intermediate, the reaction of which with NO was the principal route to produce N2 under lean NO
x

Laser beam weld-metal microstructure in a yttrium modified directionally solidified Ni3Al-base alloy
The microstructure of laser beam weld-metal of an yttrium doped directionally solidified alloy IC 6A, with chemical composition Ni–16Al–8.5Mo–0.12B–0.05C–0.03Y (at.%) was studied. The dendritic microsegregation observed within the fusion zone indicated that dendrite cores were slightly depleted in molybdenum and aluminum and the interdendritic regions were also considerably enriched in yttrium. Severe cracking in the weld-metal was observed and was found to be closely associated with interdendritic eutectic-type microconstituents identified as consisting of γ, γ′ and Ni–Mo phases. An yttrium-rich phase (Ni3Y) was observed in some interdendritic regions containing the eutectic γ, γ′ and Ni–Mo products. Their formation was discussed in relation to plausible microsegregation induced alteration of primary solidification path during cooling from welding temperatures. 相似文献

Hydroturbine steels, such as 13Cr-4Ni martensitic steels, are generally subjected to heavy-erosive wear and loss of efficiency
due to solid particulate entrainment in the water. Surface-modified steels have proven to give better performance in terms
of erosive wear resistance. In the present study, an attempt is made to investigate the effect of angle of impingement and
particle size on slurry-jet erosion behavior of pulsed plasma nitrided and laser hardened 13Cr-4Ni steels. Laser hardening
process has shown good performance at all angles of impingement due to martensitic transformation of retained austenite. Plastic
deformation mode of material removal was also an evident feature of all laser-hardened surface damage locations. However,
pulsed-plasma nitrided steels have exhibited chip formation and micro-cutting mode of erosive wear. Erosion with 150-300 μm
