The hardness and toughness of regenerated cemented carbides, in general, are contradictory. Therefore, it is critical to explore regenerated cemented carbides with both high hardness and high toughness. In this study, regenerated WC-8-wt% Co cemented carbide with SiC nanowhisker were prepared by low-pressure sintering. The influence of SiCw contents on the microstructure and mechanical properties of regenerated WC-8-wt% Co cemented carbide was investigated. The results indicated that the hardness, density, flexural strength, and fracture toughness of regenerated cemented carbide first increased and then decreased with the addition of SiCw. The Vickers hardness, density, flexural strength, and fracture toughness could reach 1575 HV, 14.6 g/cm3, 2204 MPa, 16.85 MPa·m1/2, respectively, with SiCw content 0.5 wt%, which were increased by 14.4%, 0.7%, 12.2%, and 17.3%, respectively, when compared with the regenerated cemented carbide without SiCw. The lowest friction coefficient and the best wear resistance could be also reached when 0.5-wt% SiCw was added. The fracture mechanism of the regenerated cemented carbide contained both transgranular and intergranular fracture through the microscopic observation of fracture surface via scanning electron microscope.  相似文献

Tribological properties of Ti3SiC2 ceramic and Ti3SiC2/GNP composite were investigated using fretting sliding against Si3N4 ball counter body at a load of 50 N for a sliding distance of 900 m, under non-textured lubricated (NTL), textured lubricated (TL) condition, and textured lubricated high temperature (TLHT). This paper presents the influence of laser surface texturing (LST) on Ti3SiC2 and its graphene nanoplatelets (GNP) reinforced composite established through spark plasma sintering (SPS), tested under fretting wear conditions. The coefficient of friction and wear rate of Ti3SiC2 and its graphene nanoplatelets reinforced composites were incontrovertibly enhanced with laser surface texturing as compared to non-textured Ti3SiC2 and its GNP composite. The TL surface of Ti3SiC2 composite reinforced with 15% GNP showed the lowest COF and wear rate. Almost negligible changes were observed for TLHT tests. The LST proved to an efficient technique for enhancing the friction and wear properties of Ti3SiC2 and Ti3SiC2/GNP composite.  相似文献

采用粉末冶金技术制备了SiCp/Al复合材料,探讨了SiC颗粒质量分数对SiCp/Al复合材料密度、布氏硬度、微观形貌以及摩擦磨损性能的影响。结果表明,SiC颗粒表面形成了少量可提高界面结合性的Al4C3化合物。随着SiC质量分数增加,SiCp/Al复合材料的密度没有明显的变化,当SiC质量分数增加至25%时,密度明显下降。SiCp/Al复合材料的布氏硬度随着SiC质量分数的增加呈先增长后减小的变化趋势。当SiC质量分数为20%时,材料的硬度最优(HBW 114),平均摩擦系数达到最大值(0.3425),摩擦后试样表面形貌平整且犁沟较浅,SiC颗粒未出现明显剥落。  相似文献

本文研究了马氏体不锈钢磨削加工产生的剩余磁场对其短时干摩擦过程中摩擦系数的影响.结果表明:剩余磁场对摩擦行为的影响与外加载荷有关,当外加载荷较低时,摩擦系数随剩余磁场强度的升高无明显变化;随外加载荷的升高,剩余磁场强度对摩擦系数的影响作用增大;当外加载荷较高时,摩擦系数随剩余磁场强度的升高而增大;在短时摩擦过程中,随着剩余磁场强度的升高,摩擦界面吸附磨损颗粒的能力增强,加速了摩擦界面的磨粒磨损,使摩擦系数升高.  相似文献

The characteristics of the low frequency internal friction and the modulus effect associatedwith the non-equilibrium spinodal pretransformation and the following discontinuous trans-formation was investigated in an as-quenched eutectiod Al-Zn alloy.It was observed that theloss of the stability in the lattice,which corresponded to the large-amplitude long-wavelengthstatic concentration wave in the non-equilibrium spinodal pretransformation,did not induceany effect of localized soft modulus.Although there are two aging internal friction peaks inphase transformation which correspond to the appearance and disappearance of the coherencyin spinodal pretransformation and the maximum of the interface area in the discontinuoustransformation respectively,the effect of localized soft modulus did not take place yet.  相似文献

By use of X-ray diffractometry and scanning electron microscope(SEM),the friction and wear results obtained from MM-1000 dynamometer tests of CVI pitch/resin C/C composites were analyzed.By investigating the factors that affected the friction and wear properties,such as matrix carbon,applcation environment,graphitization degree and brake pressure,etc,friction and wear mechanism of carbon materials were probed.The results indicate that pitch densified CVI initially treated composite is more graphitizable with its graphitization degree up 59 62%,and which results in uniform small debris easier to generate,more smooth friction curves with the coefficient of 0.3-0.4 and relatively higher wear and mass loss,compared with CVI/resin C/C composites.It was further proved by SEM observation that tribological behavior of C/C composite was system dependent.Factors determining the friction and wear properties such as the size of debris and its influence on friction and wear,brake pressure,graphization degree and debris bilm formation interacted and affected each other.The friction and wear mechanism of C/C composites under different high temperature treatments needs further research.  相似文献
