Moderate antioxidative efficiencies of flavonoids during peroxidation of methyl linoleate in homogeneous and micellar solutions

The relative reactivities as well as the stoichiometric coefficients for a number of flavonoids, catechols, and—for comparison—standard phenolic antioxidants were determined by analyzing the kinetics of oxygen consumption in organic and micellar systems, with peroxidation initiated by lipid- and water-soluble azo initiators. The results demonstrated that the flavonoids did not behave as classic phenolic antioxidants such as α-tocopherol, but showed only moderate chain-breaking activities. The results were in line with other structure-activity relationship studies on the importance of the B-ring catechol structure, the 2,3-double bond, and the 3,5-hydroxy groups. The data are discussed in view of possible explanations of the deviations flavonoids reveal in their behavior compared with regular phenolic antioxidants.

国内外改质沥青生产的现状及其发展

煤焦油沥青是炼铝及碳素工业的重要原料之一，它地质量如何直接影响到制品的技术经济指标。近年来，随着科学技术的发展，煤焦油沥青重整改质技术引起重视。目前已有许多国家已生产出改质沥青来满足制取电炉炼钢超高功率电极以及制品铝电解板的要求证同国内对此也开始进行研制工作。介绍了国内外改质沥青生产的现状及发展，并提出了参考建议。     

A theoretical and photoelastic contact stress analysis relevant to orthopaedic knee prostheses

This study is based on a theoretical and photoelastic static contact stress analysis, relevant to the design of the plastic tibial plateau in an orthopaedic knee prosthesis. It involves the review of existing theoretical analyses concerned with the contact mechanics of layered elastic systems and, where possible, the validation of any relevant findings using two dimensional photoelasticity. Significant findings include the identification of a general minimum recommendable design thickness for the plastic tibial plateau, the endorsement of using the Hertzian contact theory to predict contact stress levels in the tibial plateau of certain knee implants and the slight improvement in contact conditions in the plastic when the plateau is perfectly bonded to its supporting metal tray.     

On the kinetics of the autoxidation of fats: influence of pro‐oxidants,antioxidants and synergists

The influence of minor amounts of pro‐ and anti‐oxidants on the kinetics of the autoxidation of fat has been evaluated. The reaction rates of oxygen with the substrates were found to follow the same basic equation, hitherto established for pure substrates. There is evidence that the surface of the reaction vessel also acts as a reaction catalyst and its effect is proportional to the area of glass in contact with lipids. Oxidation is enhanced by trace metal ions as well as by surface‐active compounds (e.g. hydroperoxides and sterols). Antioxidants such as α‐tocopherol and butylated hydroxyanisole inhibit the oxidation by delaying the start of oxygen consumption (the induction period) while retarders like amino acids only decrease the rate of oxidation. Thus pro‐ and anti‐ oxidants affect either the start or the rate of oxygen consumption. The empirical formula dx/dt = k [O₂] (1‐x/n) f′(t) was found applicable to the different stages of oxidation.     

混凝土芯砂石桩复合地基加固堤防软基试验研究

介绍了一种新型的地基处理方法——混凝土芯砂石桩复合地基法及其在水利防洪堤软基加固工程中的应用情况。通过现场原位观测和试验,研究了混凝土芯砂石桩复合地基固结变形、孔压消散、桩土应力分担及承载力特性,结果表明混凝土芯砂石桩强度高,排水固结能力强,能迅速提高桩间土强度和承载力,应用于水利堤防工程既能控制堤防深厚软基的工后沉降,又能提高堤防边坡的稳定性,推广应用前景良好。     

井下气液混输泵试验台架设计及试验

为了对新研制的井下螺旋轴流式气液混输泵样机进行试验研究,建立了1套气液混输泵试验台架。整个试验台架由泵级部分、吸入部分、排出部分和数据采集部分组成。在给出试验样机基本结构和试验原理的基础上,阐述了样机的试验方法和步骤,通过试验得出样机在设计转速下输送纯水和含气体积分数为40%气液混输工况下的外特性曲线。前期的试验研究验证了新建立的井下气液混输泵试验台架和研制的井下螺旋轴流式气液混输泵样机均满足设计要求,同时也为下一步完善设计和今后样机的试验研究提供了依据。     

论高校的创新性学习

创新性学习是针对传统教育忽视大学生的创新意识和创新能力，知识经济对创新人才的呼唤而提出来的。本文阐述了创新性学习的特点，分析了大学生进行创新性学习应具备的四个条件，并就高校开展创造性学习应注意的四个方面提出了看法。
