Studies on high density polyethylene (HDPE) functionalized by ultraviolet irradiation and its application

The structure and properties of high density polyethylene (HDPE) functionalized by ultraviolet irradiation at different light intensities in air were studied by electron analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, contact angle with water, differential scanning calorimetry and mechanical properties measurement. The results show that oxygen‐containing groups such as C?O, C—O and C(?O)O were introduced onto the molecular chain of HDPE following irradiation, and the rate and efficiency of HDPE functionalization increased with enhancement of irradiation intensity. After irradiation, the melting temperature, contact angle with water and notched impact strength of HDPE decreased, the degree of crystallinity increased, and their variation amplitude increased with irradiation intensity. Compared with HDPE, the yield strength of HDPE irradiated at lower light intensity (32 W m^?2 and 45 W m^?2) increases monotonically with irradiation time, and the yield strength of HDPE irradiated at higher light intensity (78 W m^?2) increases up to 48 h and then decreased with further increase in irradiation time. The irradiated HDPE behaved as a compatibilizer in HDPE/polycarbonate (PC) blends, and the interface bonding between HDPE and PC was ameliorated. After adding 20 wt% HDPE irradiated at 78 W m^?2 irradiation intensity for 24 h to HDPE/PC blends, the tensile yield strength and notched Izod impact strength of the blend were increased from 26.3 MPa and 51 J m^?1 to 30.2 MPa and 158 J m^?1, respectively. Feeding-stimulant activity of algal glycerolipids for marine herbivorous gastropods

Phagostimulant activity of glycerolipids such as digalactosyldiacylglycerol (DGDG), 6-sulfoquinovosyldiacylglycerol (SQDG), phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), etc., have been examined using the Avicel plate method for three kinds of marine herbivorous gastropods, the abaloneHaliotis discus, the turban shellTurbo cornutus, and the topshellOmphalius pfeifferi. DGDG showed strong activity for all the test animals. SQDG was much less active than the other glycerolipids for abalone. The turban shell and the top shell responded more or less sensitively to all tested glycerolipids at doses of 10–20g/sample zone.Chemical Studies on Phagostimulants for Marine Gastropods. Part VIII. 可以用DLL（动态链接库）实现PC与PLC之间的通信。这种方法的主要问题是速率慢,效率低。讨论一种直接使用PC串口实现通信的方法,旨在调高通信速率。采用VB编程并且按照ActiveX控件标准封装,具有很好的移植性。     

合成孔径雷达1553B通信接口设计与实现

介绍某型号合成孔径雷达系统的1553B总线通信接口设计方案与工程实现;方案采用国内自主研发的4M/s速率1553B总线接口芯片,PC/104工控机与FPGA结合,通过硬件系统设计和软件编程,实现对1553B总线数据收发和雷达部分辅助数据的提供,实现项目总体对1553B总线通信接口的要求。实际应用情况表明,该通信接口运行稳定、可靠,具有一定的实用性和良好的应用前景。     

PC机多路数据采集接口卡及编程

介绍了以MC14433为A／D转换器,与IBM－PC总线实现接口的数据采集卡,并通过CD4051多选一开关实现多路输入。文中给出了硬件电路和采样驱动程序流程图。     

集群系统中的FP-Growth并行算法

针对FP-Growth算法面临大规模数据库时空效率不高的问题,提出一种面向计算机集群的并行算法。采用投影方法直接寻找频繁项的条件数据库,将挖掘条件数据库的工作分化成若干独立的子任务,分配到集群中的节点上并行实现,由中央节点汇总结果并输出。结果证明,该算法不仅能够提高计算速度,解决数据库规模过大时内存溢出的情况,且具有良好的延展性。     

Prevalence and personality correlates of Facebook bullying among university undergraduates

The purpose of the present study was to examine the prevalence of cyber-bullying through Facebook in a sample of 226 Greek university undergraduates, and to explore whether big five personality characteristics, narcissism, as well as attitudes toward Facebook, technological knowledge and skills were predictive of such behavior. Participants completed a self-report questionnaire measuring the above constructs. Results indicated that almost one third of the sample reported Facebook bullying engagement at least once during the past month, with male students reporting more frequent involvement than females. Bullying through Facebook was predicted by low Agreeableness and more time spent on Facebook only for males, whereas for females none of the studied variables predicted engagement in Facebook bullying. Findings are discussed in terms of prevention and intervention strategies.
