一种可用于可调谐环行Ti：Al_2O_3激光器的宽带单向器

本文介绍一种宽带单向器的原理及设计。选用ＴＧＧ作磁旋光介质，旋光石英晶片作补偿片，所设计的色散补偿型宽带单向器预计可在７００～１０００ｎｍ波长范围内实现环行激光腔中的单向行波运行；将其应用在可调谐环行Ｔｉ：Ａｌ２Ｏ３激光器中，获得了良好的实验结果。     

The impact of CHP generation on CO2 emissions

The combined generation of heat and power (cogeneration) is praised by many as a technique for reducing the emissions of CO₂ in industrialized nations. This is generally true but not always. In this article we discuss the impact of some major variables on the CO₂ emission reduction capacity of cogeneration. Two sets of variables are predominant: the characteristics of the CHP process and the composition of the electricity generation sector. We highlight the interaction between the two sets of variables with the help of diagrams.     

激光光束质量因子的研究进展

本文详细分析了各种光场下光束质量M2因子。在不同的场中,A.E.Siegman当初所定义的M2因子,已经有了很大的变化,因而M2因子的特性也与当初不同,不仅M2因子可以大于等于1,而且可以小于1,甚至小于0。其反映的物理意义,也从经典场中的衍射极限倍数,变化为非经典场中的准直性量度以及对空间相干性的某些反映。此外还列举并分析了几种特殊的光束质量因子,最后讨论了M2因子应用的问题并指出了其局限性。     

Service life planning and performance requirements

Service life planning comprises a model for the determination of a reasonable expected service life for buildings and components, and it establishes a routine for the assessment of design alternatives. A design option is considered reasonable when it meets or exceeds performance requirements over time that have been drawn up specifically for the specific project. Due to this assessment reference, there is a very evident link to the concept of performance-based building. Any stakeholder involved in the value chain or in the design process of the building, as well as regulators and building users, can express performance requirements. Identified requirements, both in relevance and in quality, will vary with the stakeholder and his/her perspective of interest. As building sector manufacturers develop most products with reference to standards rather than with reference to specific requirements, there is no direct link from user requirements to the product design. Instead, the building designer has the responsibility to ensure performance requirements are met by the performance of products integrated into the design. As these design decisions also have to be made at the material and component level, a performance-based building would benefit from an established rationale that enables the communication of performance requirements across the relevant system levels in the relevant design processes. A path for the connection of the established concepts of service life planning and performance-based building is presented. The aim is to identify key elements that need to be developed for the successful linkage of performance-based building with service life planning.     

提高E^2PROM中NMOS管源漏穿通电压的实验研究

为了提高Ｅ＾２ＰＲＯＭ中Ｎ管源漏穿通电压，用实验的方法对制造工艺进行了研究。结果表明，高能量注入是提高ＶＰＴ的有效手段，但受到ｐｎ结击穿的限制，只适用于低区短沟Ｎ管；ＤＤＤ工艺大幅度高ＶＰＴ，但ｐｎ结击穿电压低于２０Ｖ，不能应用于高压ＭＯＳ管；采用适量的防穿通注入和适当增大沟道长度为最理想的工艺途径。

Analysis of polarization plane rotation characteristic in 2D photonic crystal waveguide with chiral medium by condensed node spatial network

Using the photonic band gap in photonic crystals, the fundamental waveguide structures for the light wavelength range have been developed. Based on the fine structure of these many functional devices have been proposed by analytical or numerical simulation methods and the experiments of trial manufacture. In this paper, the treatment of chiral dielectric in the Condensed Node Spatial Network for the vector potential is explained, and we show the polarization plane rotation property in air‐hole and pillar type photonic crystal waveguide structures with the chiral medium substrate. Then, we show the fundamental advantage of the air‐hole type photonic crystal waveguide structure in application to a mode converter. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Enhanced Oil Recovery: The Synthesis of Anthraquinone [1, 2-C] Alkylisoxazole

Anthraquinone [1, 2-C] methylisoxazole is synthesized from 2-ethylanthraquinone through nitration and treating with oleum. The different methods of 2-ethylanthraquinone nitrated were discussed. The optimum conditions were determined. The structure of the product was confirmed by MS and ¹H NMR.     

Sidechain liquid crystal polymers

Research has continued in the field sidechain liquid crystal polymers over recent years, but it is becoming clearer that this research is being directed away from the traditional technology areas of electro-optic devices and researchers are developing new and exciting applications for this novel state of matter.
