A kinetic model for polystyrene (PS) pyrolysis reaction

A mathematical model for the pyrolysis reaction of polystyrene (PS) in a semi-batch reactor has been presented. The thermal degradation of PS was flexibly modeled by a combination of random and specific chain-end scissions. Numerical simulation was used to investigate the effect of operating conditions on the PS products spectrum, the results of which were validated by the experimental data. It was found that as the reaction temperature increased (decreased), the monomer fraction in the products became lower (higher) while the trimer higher (lower). No significant variation in the product composition was, however, observed while constant temperature was maintained. These results indicate the reaction temperature is an effective manipulated variable for the control of products composition of PS pyrolysis. The calculation of the optimum temperature trajectories through the optimization study can thus be of interest for achieving productivity enhancement in plastics pyrolysis processes. Pt-V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalysts supported on SiC filter for NO reduction at low temperature

The catalytic filter, V₂O₅-WO₃-TiO₂ supported on a ceramic filter, is known as a promising material for treating particulates and NO _x simultaneously at optimum temperatures around 320°C. In order to improve its catalytic activity at low temperatures, the effect of Pt addition on the catalytic filter has been investigated. Catalytic filters, Pt-V₂O₅-WO₃-TiO₂/SiC, were prepared by co-impregnation of Pt, V, and W precursors on TiO₂ coated-SiC filter by vacuum aided-dip coating. The Pt-added catalytic filter shifted the optimum working temperature from 280–330°C (for the non Pt-impregnated filter) to 180–230°C, providing N _x slip concentration less than 20 ppm for the treatment of 700 ppm NO at a face velocity of 2 cm/s with the same value over the non Pt-added catalytic filters. The promotional effect following the addition of Pt is believed to result from electrical modification of the catalyst maintaining a high electron transfer state. Ammonia oxidation was also observed to be dominant above the optimal temperature for SCR.     

高分子量聚氯乙烯树脂增塑,填充体系的物理力学性能研究

本文研究聚合度及增塑剂、填充剂用量对高分子量聚氯乙烯（ＨＭＷＰＶＣ）树脂物理力学性能的影响规律，并将国内外ＨＭＷＰＶＣ树脂以及ＨＭＷＰＶＣ与通用型ＰＶＣ树脂进行了性能对比。结果表明，ＨＭＷＰＶＣ增塑、填充体系的拉什强度、撕裂强度冲击回弹性及压缩永久形变等物理力学性能均随聚合度的提高而有所增加，而且各项性能均优于通用型ＰＶＣ树脂，可有效地用作橡胶代用品。分子量相同的国内外ＨＭＷＰＶＣ树脂物理力学性能基本相同。但是，后者随着增塑剂用量的增加，弹性比前者有所提高；随着填充剂用量的增加，性能变化比前者缓慢．增加填充剂用量以降低制品的体积成本。笔者还时两者物理力学性能的差异与颗粒形态之间的关系进行了探讨。

基于问题的学习模式在程序设计语言课程中的应用

讨论适应我国本科院校的计算机科学与技术专业的程序设计语言课程教学模式,提升计算机程序设计语言课程的教学效果,通过问题设计和分组讨论进行统计学分析等方式,对比传统教授法和模块化PBL的教学效果结果显示,模块化PBL教学法更有利于提高本科高等院校的计算机程序设计语言课程的教学成效。
