This paper presents link to system (L2S) interfacing technique for multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) iterative receivers. In L2S interfacing, usually the post detection signal to noise ratio (SNR)‐based frame error rate lookup tables (LUT) are used to predict the link level performance of receivers. While L2S interfacing for linear MIMO receivers can be conveniently implemented, it is more challenging for MIMO iterative receivers due to unavailability of the closed form SNR expressions. In this paper, we propose three methods for post detection SNR estimation for MIMO iterative receivers. The first is based on the QR decomposition of the channel matrix, the second relies on the residual noise calculation based on the soft symbols, and the third exploits the closed form SNR expressions for linear receivers. A link to system interface model for iterative receivers is developed for evaluating the reference curves for different modulation and coding schemes, and results are validated by comparing the simulated and predicted frame error rates. It is shown that linear and residual noise‐based SNR approximations result in a very good prediction performance whereas the performance of QR decomposition‐based method degrades for higher order modulations and coding schemes. This paper presents link to system interfacing technique for MIMO iterative receivers. This paper investigates the frequency synchronization in the uplink of the Orthogonal frequency- division multiple access (OFDMA) system with interleaved subcarrier assignment. In such a system, one of the key problems is the multiuser frequency synchronization, which focuses on the multiple-parameter estimation of the Carrier frequency offsets (CFOs). In this paper, we propose a two-stage frequency offset estimation algorithm. The main advantage of the proposed method is that it can obtain the CFOs of all users simultaneously using only one OFDMA block. In addition, a novel CFO-compensation method is presented. Based on the inner signal structure of interleaved-OFDMA uplink, the new scheme uses adaptive beamformer to compensate the CFO of each user and isolate the signals of all users at the same time. Compared to the previously known methods, the proposed algorithm can provide accurate frequency synchronization and data detection without feeding CFO estimates back to active users for frequency adjustment. 相似文献

Digital notch filters are applied to remove or suppress the narrow-band interferences in digital signals, while preserving other components unchanged. Under the condition of the identical notch bandwidths, a novel design method is put forward in this paper to realize the adaptive notch filter with infinite-impulse response (IIR). Firstly, a specially simplified all-pass filter is introduced to construct an IIR non-adaptive notch filter, which serves as the core part in the adaptive one. Secondly, the criterion of least-mean-square (LMS) is applied to design the desired adaptive notch filter (ANF). The designed ANF can track and suppress multiple non-harmonic interference components simultaneously. Images are generally corrupted by impulse noise during acquisition and transmission. Noise deteriorates the quality of images. To remove corruption noise, we propose a hybrid approach to restoring a random noise-corrupted image, including a block matching 3D (BM3D) method, an adaptive non-local mean (ANLM) scheme, and the K-singular value decomposition (K-SVD) algorithm. In the proposed method, we employ the morphological component analysis (MCA) to decompose an image into the texture, structure, and edge parts. Then, the BM3D method, ANLM scheme, and K-SVD algorithm are utilized to eliminate noise in the texture, structure, and edge parts of the image, respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed approach can effectively remove interference random noise in different parts; meanwhile, the deteriorated image is able to be reconstructed well. 相似文献
