真空望远镜封窗玻璃主要受到大气压力和重力的影响,由于要求得到高空间分辨力的太阳像,所以对封窗玻璃的变形要求很高。用有限元法对封窗玻璃进行力学分析计算,得出不同角度观测时的应力及变形数据,封窗玻璃在各个位置观测时受到的应力和变形相差很小,可近似认为变形后的表面是对称旋转变形。  相似文献

Groundnut seeds are prone to quality deterioration and damage due to improper storage. Hermetic storage of pods offers a novel, sustainable and ecologically safe alternative over traditional methods. In this paper, we demonstrate the efficacy of triple-layer “Purdue Improved Crop Storage (PICS)” bags, (that comprises of two inner high density polyethylene bags and one outer woven polypropylene bag), for protecting pods from quality deterioration, damage by bruchids (Caryedon serratus) and aflatoxin contamination (Aspergillus flavus). Custom made triple-layer bags were used and pods (of cv ICGV 91114) were placed @ 2 kg/bag. Over four months of storage under ambient conditions, triple-layer bags supported retention of seed weight, germinability and oil content significantly better than cloth bags. Further, under both natural and artificial infestations with A. flavus, seed aflatoxins levels were lower in PICS bags compared to cloth bags. Toxin accumulation in PICS bags deliberately infested with bruchids and A. flavus was less compared to cloth bags under similar conditions. Bruchid damage to pods was less in PICS bags versus cloth bags in all cases. Our results suggest the superiority of triple-layer PICS bags over cloth bags in protecting seed viability, seed weight and oil content while safeguarding the groundnuts from bruchids and retarding toxin accumulation.  相似文献

A lumped capacitance model was applied to simulate the change in gas concentration in a wheat silo-bag. The sensitivity of the solution to a given model respiration rate and permeability (degree of gas-tightness of the silo-bag) was examined. Results showed that gas concentration is more sensitive to changes in respiration rate than to permeability of the plastic film. Considerable changes occur in gas concentration in a damaged silo-bag. The definition of an effective permeability to account for gas transfer through holes and plastic film allowed the examination of the effect of different holes configurations (number and size of perforations) on the evolution of gas concentration.The influence of grain storage conditions on the evolution of gas concentration was investigated. The model was run for initial grain temperatures of 20, 25, 30 and 40C and MC in the range (12–16% w.b) and climatic conditions of the South East of Buenos Aires province, Argentina.When dry grain (12–13% w.b) is stored, O2 level remained above 12% and CO2 level below 7%. For wet grain (15–16% w.b), CO2 level was in the range 14–16% after six month storage. The simulations showed that for wet grain anaerobic conditions may be achieved within two weeks to three months of storage, depending on the grain initial temperature. Estimated mean DML for all the storage conditions remained always below 0.04%, the critical limit for safe storage of wheat that will be used for seeds.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to analyse the effect of relative humidity in suppressing Sitophilus zeamais, in paddy rice stored under hermetic conditions, during four and seven months, at different average temperatures, as well as the impact on rice quality.Hermetic bags, GrainPro® SuperGrainbag® Farm™, were used to store two rice varieties under three different relative humidities: 67%, 75% and 85% RH, and average temperatures of 14 °C, 17 °C and 24 °C, both monitored by Hobo® Data loggers, with the probe placed inside the bags. CheckpointII Portable O2 and CO2 Gas Analyzer was used to assess gas contents on the top and bottom of each bag. At the end of the trials, paddy samples were collected to estimate water activity (aw). The rheology behaviour of rice pastes prepared with race flour obtained from the different treatments was also evaluated, using a controlled stress rheometer.The results showed that the response of the stored-product insects changes with environmental conditions, O2 and CO2 contents. Other parameters were considered; aw increased with relative humidity and temperature, but decreased with storage time. The relative humidity played an important role, together with the increase of temperature, in suppressing insect populations. A modified atmosphere was naturally produced inside the hermetic bag, under 85% RH, with low O2 and high CO2 contents, at different average temperatures, 14 °C and 17 °C. These results demonstrated that S. zeamais can survive, but has no progeny. Under the same conditions, but at the higher average temperature of 24 °C, S. zeamais attained 100% mortality before producing progeny.The increase on respiration rate, registered by CO2 increase and O2 decrease, for higher RH values, reduced the viscoelastic functions and changed the starch gelatinization point of Indica and Japonica rice.The results obtained showed that storing paddy hermetically, at low relative humidity, did not change atmospheric content and maintained the viscoelastic functions of the rice pastes.  相似文献

Experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of hermetic triple bagging using Purdue Improved Crop Storage (PICS) bags for storage of Bambara groundnut (Vigna subterranea (L.) Verdc.). One set of experiments used grain heavily infested by Callosobruchus maculatus (F.) while a second set began with a low level infestation. Each experiment consisted of V. subterranea grain kept in four replicate 50 kg PICS bags or two replicate woven bags as controls. Two to five days after the beginning of the experiments, oxygen level inside the bags averaged about 21% (v/v) in the controls but decreased significantly in PICS bags, reaching 10% (v/v) with the heavily infested grain but falling only slightly in the lightly infested grain. After 7 months of storage, (i) the number of C. maculatus adults found between and within the grains, (ii) the 100 seed weight, (iii) the number of seed with holes, and (iv) the percentage germination of grain stored in PICS bags did not differ from what had been measured on the day that the experiment was set up. In woven bags, by contrast, there was a massive increase in C. maculatus numbers with means of 309 and 251 adults per 500 g in heavily and lightly infested grain, respectively. Grain weight losses in the woven bag controls ranged from 8 to 19% and the percentage of C. maculatus emergence holes per 100 seed increased from 51 to 135%.  相似文献

Four paddy varieties (Bg 352, Bg 300, Bg 358 and Bg 360) were stored in hermetic IRRI bags and common woven polyethylene bags (polybags) at room temperature either uninfested or infested with rice weevils (Sitophilus oryzae (L.)). After 9 months of storage, samples were tested for insect mortality, gas contents, moisture content (m.c.), thousand grain mass (TGM), porosity, hardness, whiteness, total milled rice yield (TMR), head rice yield (HRY), gelatinization temperature, amylose (AC), crude protein (CP), crude fat, free fatty acid (FFA), thiamine and niacin contents and sensory characteristics. These properties after storage were compared with their initial condition. The oxygen content dropped from 21% to 7% and 13.8% for infested and uninfested IRRI bag samples, respectively. The results showed that m.c., of the IRRI bag samples increased significantly (P < 0.05) by 5% when compared to the initial sample but it increased by 15% in polybag stored samples. After 9 months, dry matter loss (DM) was 65% higher in polybag than IRRI bag samples. Highest DM loss was observed in Bg 300 and the lowest DM loss was observed in Bg 358 and Bg 360. Paddy samples stored in IRRI bags showed reduced whiteness compared to polybag stored samples. Storage in IRRI bags significantly increased (P < 0.05) TMR, HRY, AC and sensory values compared to polybag samples. However, paddy samples stored in polybags significantly increased (P < 0.05) their CP and FFA contents while decreasing sensory values, thiamine and niacin contents. The FFA value of polybag samples was 2.5 times higher than IRRI bag samples. Hermetic storage of dry paddy improved overall paddy quality but different end-use quality parameters were observed in the two paddy grain types of short round (Bg 352 and Bg 300) or intermediate bold (Bg 358 and Bg 360).  相似文献

A numerical and experimental comparative study of a carbon dioxide trans-critical refrigerating system and a conventional sub-critical refrigerating cycle is presented. Attention is focussed not only on the whole refrigeration cycle, but also on the behaviour of the hermetic reciprocating compressors used in these systems. The comparative cases presented have been specially designed for small cooling capacity units with an evaporation temperature around 0 °C. A detailed numerical simulation model for hermetic reciprocating compressors performance, widely validated under conventional fluid refrigerants, has been extended to numerically obtain the CO2 compressor prototypes behaviour. Two CO2 compressor prototypes working with CO2 have been experimentally tested in a specific unit, specially designed and built to analyse high-pressure single stage vapour compression trans-critical refrigerating equipments. This set-up has allowed validating a detailed numerical simulation code for the thermal and fluid-dynamic behaviour of single stage vapour compression refrigeration system working with CO2 as fluid refrigerant. The numerical results and the experimental data obtained to validate compressors, heat exchangers and whole cycle behaviour have shown a really good agreement. Finally, the numerical and experimental comparison between the carbon dioxide system and the sub-critical conventional cycle has shown the possibility of CO2 as fluid refrigerant under the studied working conditions.  相似文献

A large-scale study was conducted to assess which of the five most accessible hermetic storage devices on the Kenyan market fulfill the needs of smallholder farmers by positively impacting three major areas of concern: insect infestation, grain quality, and mycotoxin (aflatoxin and fumonisin) contamination. Efficacy of two hermetic silos (plastic and metal) and three hermetic bags (PICS, GrainPro's GrainSafe™, and Super Grain) was directly compared to current maize storage in polypropylene (PP) bags under local environmental conditions using representative storage volumes during a 6-month storage period. Impact of maize grain stored at typical (∼15%) and recommended (<13.5%) moisture levels and potential efficacy losses through frequent interruption of the underlying hermetic principals was assessed. Hermetic storage significantly reduced the increase in aflatoxin compared to PP bags regardless of the moisture level of the grain. An <5% per month aflatoxin increase was achieved by three of the five devices tested: Metal silo, PICS and GrainSafe™ bag. A strong correlation between grain moisture, storage time and aflatoxin development was found in PP bags, but not in any of the hermetic devices. The same result was not obtained for fumonisin development in stored maize. The rate of Fumonisin increase was similar in all tested devices, including the polypropylene bags, and conditions. The periodic opening of the hermetic devices had no significant effect on the efficacy of the hermetic devices but the repeated disturbance of the PP bags led to a significant increase in aflatoxin levels. The maize weevil Sitophilus spp. was most commonly found with a total incidence of 72%. Grain storage under hermetic conditions reduced insect infestation, grain weight loss and discoloration. However, maize storage above recommended moisture levels led to a distinct odor development in all hermetic devices but not the PP bags. Hence, proper grain drying is a prerequisite for maize storage in airtight conditions.  相似文献
