传统的图像增强算法在增强图像的同时也增强了图像的噪声信号,导致信息熵下降.结合小波变换多尺度、多分辨率的特点和直方图均衡的优势,提出一种基于小波分频和二次均衡的高亮度图像增强算法.首先利用小波变换将图像分解为低频分量和高频分量,然后仅对低频分量作直方图均衡处理,再由均衡后的低频分量与各高频分量进行小波重构,最后对重构的图像再次进行直方图均衡处理.实验结果表明,该算法对于亮度较高的灰度图像有较好的增强效果. 相似文献

The techniques that allow to obtain hidden data and recover the image has recently been much sought after. The basic objective of the method provided in this study was to analyse coefficients of digital images achieved by wavelet transform in the frequency space, to hide data, and to recover original image without loss. Wavelet transform is an efficient method to find pixel coefficient characteristic of digital images. The proposed method (NON-R) hides data using shifted histogram high-frequency Haar coefficients without rounding into integer. Thus, both hidden data and cover image can be easily recovered. Reversibility is provided by retrieving the cover image after hiding into high-frequency wavelet coefficients and extracting the message from wavelet coefficients. Wildfire smoke detection is particularly important for early warning systems, because smoke usually rises before flames arise. Therefore, this paper presents an automatic wildfire smoke detection method using computer vision and pattern recognition techniques. First, candidate blocks are identified using key-frame differences and nonparametric smoke color models to detect smoke-colored moving objects. Subsequently, three-dimensional spatiotemporal volumes are built by combining the candidate blocks in the current key-frame with the corresponding blocks in previous frames. A histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) is extracted, and a histogram of oriented optical flow (HOOF) is extracted as a temporal feature based on the fact that the direction of smoke diffusion is upward owing to thermal convection. From spatiotemporal features of training data, a visual codebook and a bag-of-features (BoF) histogram are generated using our proposed weighting scheme. For smoke verification, a random forest classifier is built during the training phase using the BoF histogram. The random forest with the BoF histogram can increase the detection accuracy performance when compared with related methods and allow smoke detection to be carried out in near real time. 相似文献

Here we describe a general method of calibrating the efficiency of a Ge γ-ray spectrometer. The method, which is based on the work of Quintana and Fernández (Appl. Radiat. Isot. 47 (1996) 911), can now be applied to many different experimental set-ups including both liquid and solid environmental samples. The method requires two different types of experimental inputs. Firstly, it requires measurements with radioactive sources emitting cascades of γ rays covering the energy range of interest. Secondly, it requires measurements with sources emitting isolated γ rays in order to provide coincidence-summing corrections. On this basis, we establish a general function to describe the energy dependence of the efficiency for the particular geometry and source matrix. The method has been applied to 11 different experimental arrangements to provide efficiency calibrations over the range 46.54–2000 keV with associated uncertainties ranging from 0.1% to 1.8%. This paper deals with a new method improving the static test for analogue-to-digital converters. The method is based on a histogram procedure using as test signals small-amplitude triangular waves superimposed on suitable constant offset values. The histogram is built over the converter fullscale by varying the offset step by step systematically. A small amplitude and a reduced time slope in comparison to the converter range and slew rate, respectively, lead to static test conditions. This procedure allows inexpensive function generators to be used and the test duration to be dramatically reduced.
